The Indian society has been a male-dominated society in which the women have been considered as the weaker gender for a very long time. The women were not allowed to go out of the house for studying or working and they were considered fit only for the kitchen and household chores. However, things changed slowly and people started educating their daughters. Consequently, a new picture has come into view in which women are seen working in corporate offices, government jobs, etc.

But still there were some doubts in the minds of people which were related to women working in the defense and security forces. While there was no harm in women doing office jobs in these sectors, it was thought that women are not suitable for being inducted into combat and those positions which have risk of life.

Indian Forest Services is also one of those sectors in which there is risk of life and people think that women should not opt for this sector in terms of career. However, one female IFS trainee has posted some photos from her training in order to encourage other women candidates for applying in IFS.

In a series of tweets, Swetha Boddu whose Twitter handle is @swethaboddu reveals that she has been trained in horse riding which is instrumental in improving coordination, posture and confidence. She has also shared pics from her training sessions in shooting, scuba-diving, trekking, swimming, river rafting and paragliding.

Aamir Khan’s Daughter Ira Khan Gives Strong Reply To Haters Who Troll Her For Depression Post

Depression is one of the most common health problems which are being faced by the Indian society, especially the youngsters but the good thing is that they are opening up about it and communication is certainly a way to improve the mental health.

Recently, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan has also opened up about her struggle with depression. She has taken to her official Instagram account and revealed that she is clinically depressed for the last four years, however she is doing better now.

She also says that she is getting treated by the doctor and was hoping to do something for mental health for over a year now but as she was unsure of what to do, she decided to share her journey with everyone so that everyone can get a clue as to how they can understand themselves and deal with this issue in a better manner. She has posted the video with an intention of starting a conversation which may be helpful for many people who are dealing with issues of depression and mental illness.

While some appreciated her for taking a bold step, there were some who trolled her for her depression.

Ira was in no mood to deal with the trollers silently so she took to her Instagram stories and posted a warning for those who mocked her. She writes that if someone posts a hate comment once, she will delete it but if he repeats it, she will block that person. She also talked about the poll in which she asked whether she should delete the hate and irrelevant comments though they don’t bother her and 56 percent people responded with yes.

Here is what she wrote, “If you’re hateful or irrelevant once, I will delete your comment. If you do it again, I will restrict your access to my posts.”

Journo Asks Bihar Man If ‘Vikas’ Reached His Village, His Innocent Reply Sparks Meme Fest

Vikas (development) is a very important topic nowadays in the elections in India as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always emphasized on it and it was the backbone of his election campaign. The elections in the Indian state of Bihar will take place pretty soon and all the political parties are trying their best to woo the voters. However this time, they also need to keep in mind that they follow the safety guidelines as COVID-19 is still spreading at a fast rate.

The news channels have become active now and their reporters are visiting each part of the state in order to find out about the public’s mood. A reporter of Bihar Tak, a local news channel of Bihar, visited a village in Lakhisarai and talked to people there. But the main attraction of this video is the old man who gave a very funny reply though unintentionally when he was asked about Vikas (development) by the reporter.

The reporter asks the old man whether Vikas has come to his village and in reply, the old man says that he doesn’t know because he was sick so he went to the doctor.

Rajasthan Royals Gave An Offer To Virat Kohli & AB De Villiers Ahead Of RRvsRCB, Got Trolled

The IPL 2020 has crossed its half-way mark as all the teams have played their 8 matches and it seems that Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians will certainly go into the play-offs. Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore also has a very good chance of playing in the play-offs as they have won 5 out of 8 matches that they have played in the tournament. The best thing that has happened with RCB is that their skipper has regained his form and the South African batsman AB de Villiers also seems to be in a superb touch.

Today (October 17), Royal Challengers Bangalore will once again face Rajasthan Royals at the Dubai International Stadium. In their first match, RCB came out as the winner as they defeated RR by 8 wickets and Virat Kohli played a crucial role in his team’s win by scoring 72 runs of just 53 balls. The bowling of RCB was also pretty good in that match as they restricted RR for a score of 154 which was not enough when there are players like Virat Kohli, Aaron Finch, AB de Villiers, etc. in the opposition.

RR’s start in the tournament was just superb as in the first two matches, its batting line-up was literally on fire and they won both the matches after scoring above 200. But after that, they lost 4 matches in a row and till now, they have won only 3 matches out of 8 that they have played. While RCB is at the third spot, RR is at the seventh spot and they certainly need a miracle now to reach the play-offs.
