Rahkeem Cornwall’s Photo With His Teammate Has Become A Meme Due To Crazy Height Gap

The ongoing test series between West Indies and England can be called a historic one as it is being played during the coronavirus pandemic. No spectators are allowed in the stadium as gathering of crowd in the stadium can lead to spread of the virus.

In the three test match series, both the teams have won one game each and the third test match is going to decide the fate of the series. In the third test match which is being played at Old Trafford cricket ground, Manchester, the English team scored 369 in their first innings and 226/2 in the second innings while West Indies crumbled at the score of 197 in their first innings and in the second innings, they have already lost 2 wickets for the score of 10 runs. Two days are still left in the test match and the visitors need to achieve the target of 389 in order to win the match as well as the series.

For the third match, West Indies brought in Rahkeem Cornwall, the 6 ft 6 inch tall well-built spinner in place of pacer Alzarri Joseph but the former was not able to do anything significant with the ball. Rahkeem debuted against India in Aug 2019 and this test match is the third match of his career. The second test match he played was against Afghanistan which was played at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Against Afghanistan, Rahkeem performed brilliantly and took 7 wickets in the first innings and 10 in the whole match because of which he was adjudged as Man of the Match. Rahkeem plays for St Lucia Zouks in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and in the CPL 2019, he was noticed by everyone because of his hard-hitting ability, though his team didn’t even go into play-offs.

Rahkeem is certainly not going through a good time as in the first innings of the third match, he bowled 27 overs and gave 85 runs but was not able to take even a single wicket. The story remained the same in the second innings as he bowled 19 overs and conceded 79 runs but remained wicketless.

However at the moment, one photo is going viral on the Internet in which Rahkeem is seen standing at the slips with one of his teammates. This pic has become a fodder for meme makers and netizens are pointing towards the height difference of the two players.

Saathiya’s Urmila Ben Aka Vandana Vithlani Sells Rakhi Online For Livelihood Due To Non-Payment

The Indian television industry got affected in a very bad manner due to the coronavirus pandemic as the shootings came to a halt and everyone was forced to remain inside their houses due to the lockdown imposed by the government.

Vandana Vithlani, the popular TV actress who has worked in very famous TV shows such as Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Hamari Bahu Silk, etc. is also going through a quite tough phase and her condition is pathetic as her savings have finished and she is surviving by making rakhis and selling them online.

Vandana Vithlani was seen in serial Hamari Bahu Silk and her remuneration of many months for the serial has been unpaid. She worked in the show from May till Oct 2019 and as per her, she was paid only for May and is still waiting for the producers to make her payment. She also worked in serial Muskaan in November 2019 but that show went off-air in just 2 months. Vandana says that she was paid for Muskaan but that money has also been spent during COVID-19.

Recently, a video of Vandana has been going viral in which she is seen speaking about the problems faced by her, other actors and other members of the unit because the producers of Hamari Bahu Silk are not making payments.

Vandana talked to a leading daily and said that presently she is keeping herself busy by making rakhis and selling them online. She added that though she is not earning much by selling rakhis, something is better than nothing. Vandana’s husband is a theatre artist who has no work at the moment on account of the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier the lead actor of Hamari Bahu Silk, Zaan Khan protested along with other actors and crew members in front of the building in which the producer lives and demanded their payments which have been overdue for a long time now. It has also been heard that Zaan Khan sold fruits in order to earn livelihood.

Irfan Pathan Slammed Steve Bucknor For 7 Mistakes In 2008 Sydney Test Due To Which India Lost

Winning and losing is a part of every game but players get hurt more when they lose a match because of the mistakes that have been committed by other people and not by them. The Indian cricketers experienced similar situation in the 2008 Sydney test match which was played between India and Australia. Many controversial decisions were given by the umpires in the match and it won’t be incorrect to say that umpires played a big role in Australia’s win in this test match. After losing the match, it became impossible for the Indian team to win the series as Australia took the lead of 2-0 in the 4 match test series.

Steve Bucknor who was one of the umpires in the match accepted that he did make a couple of mistakes including the one of giving not-out to Andrew Symonds in the first innings and he was actually out at that time. Andrew Symonds used the opportunity to the maximum and scored 162 runs unbeaten; for his performance, he was also awarded with the Man of the Match award.

While speaking on a show, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan lashes out heavily at Steve Bucknor and says that what has happened has happened and there is no point in accepting the mistakes now. He goes on to say that the truth is India lost the test match solely because of the errors made by the umpires and accepting mistakes won’t change anything now.

Though Irfan was not a part of the squad in that test match, still he would have felt the pain and anger experienced by the Indian team. He said that in the Sydney test match, umpires made at least seven mistakes because of which India lost the match. As per him, Andrew Symonds got out three times but the umpires didn’t give him out. He also added that it was the first time when he saw that the Indian cricketers are not just frustrated but angry as well.

The left-handed Gujarat cricketer further said that while Indian cricket fans were sure that the umpires were doing it intentionally, the Indian players could not think like this. However, he also said that as cricketers, we convinced ourselves that such things happen and we should think about future but seven crucial mistakes made by umpires were a little impossible for them also to digest.

Mitchell Starc’s Wife Alyssa Healy Hits Out At A Man For Disagreeable Meme On Mitchell Over IPL

The Indian Premier League is one of the most watched cricket tournaments of the world and IPL fans were very disappointed as the IPL 2020 was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, now there is a smile on the face of fans as the IPL chairman has confirmed that the tournament will be played in UAE from September 18 to November 8. BCCI is organizing the IPL 2020 in UAE because the number of coronavirus patients in India is still increasing and situation can’t be called satisfactory at the moment.

It became easy for BCCI to organize the IPL 2020 this year after the T20 ICC World Cup 2020 which was scheduled to be held in Australia got postponed. A World Cup tournament is certainly the most important tournament for a cricketer so the Australian pacer Mitchell Starc decided not to play in the IPL as he wanted to focus on the T20 World Cup. Mitchell who is an integral part of the Australian team has not been playing the IPL since 2015 whether it is because of his injuries or personal reasons and this time he left the league for the World Cup. But things don’t seem to go in Mitchell’s favor and the ICC took the decision of postponing the T20 World Cup as it is quite risky to organize such a big tournament amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

A Twitter user took a jibe at Mitchell for rejecting the IPL for the World Cup, he tweeted a photo of the Australian cricketer in an emotional mood with caption, “When you rejected IPL to prepare for WT20 but WT20 is cancelled and IPL is happening”.

This tweet didn’t go well with Mitchell’s wife Alyssa Healy who is also a cricketer and plays for Australia women’s national team. Actually the photo which was used by the Twitter user was clicked during the departure of Australia cricketer Phil Hughes. Phil departed from this world on 27 Nov 2014 after he got injured seriously post getting hit by a bouncer. Phil went into coma first and then he lost the battle of his life. It was a very sad moment for the whole cricket world and making a funny meme using a photo from that unfortunate incident is certainly disgusting.

Alyssa slammed the Twitter user and wrote, “That’s actually the moment Phil Hughes passes away…. but sure use it for your idiotic meme.”

The Twitter user did realize his mistake, apologized and tried to cover it up by saying that it was a satire and RCB fans want Mitchell in the squad. He tweeted, “Sorry, but it was just a satire, we love starc and whole RCB fanbase wants him back. And yea We all Miss Phil..#Forever408”

However, Alyssa was still quite annoyed with the user and she replied, “Satire is supposed to be funny. This isn’t.”

The Twitter user has deleted his tweet after getting slammed.
