All the cricketing events including the IPL 2020 may have been postponed but BCCI and all the IPL franchises took to social media networks in order to keep the cricket fans engaged and entertained.
Recently, the official account of the Indian Cricket Team shared an image of a hand on its Instagram account and asked fans whose hand it is.
Here is the image:

The caption on the post read, “Guess who? ???????? Answers on our Insta story later ???? #TeamIndia.”

Majority of the users got it right as it is the photo of Yuzvendra Chahal’s hand. However, there was one online user who made a cheap comment and wrote, “Kis garib ka haath hai ye” (which poor man’s hand is this?)

Yuzi who is pretty active on the social media and is known for his good sense of humour was in mood to remain silent on this comment and he gave a kickass answer to the hater.
Yuzvendra Chahal wrote, “Uss garib ka jo ground pe apne desh ke liye jaan bhi de sakta hai. (that poor man who can give his life on the cricket field for his country).”

Yuzi was supposed to play for Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2020 which has been postpone due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the leggie used his time in making TikTok videos and now he has become a part-time TikTok star.

Yuzvendra Chahal was slammed for his videos and also for including his family members in several videos by his own teammates such as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli but it had no effect on the spinner.
That was quite a good response by Yuzi, what do you say?

The cricket fans, especially the Indians, were left pretty disappointed after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 got postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, it is also true that nothing is more important than human life and we should be ready to experience many new changes in the sports world in the future.

The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) is now working on the idea of organizing the IPL 2020 in the later part of the year but within the closed doors which means there will be no spectator in the stadium. Undoubtedly, the fun of the game will be reduced to a great extent because of the absence of spectators but in the present scenario, it can be the only solution to the problem.
The former Indian skipper and present BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has instructed all the state associations to check all the possible options of organizing the IPL matches, even if they have to be conducted in empty stadiums.
The idea of organizing matches in an empty stadium has received mixed reactions from the IPL owners, while majority has supported it, few of them have some reservations.
While talking to a new channel, Venky Mysore, the MD and CEO of Kolkata Knight Riders says that there is no doubt main focus has to be on the health and safety of all those who are related to the game – players and the fans. He further adds that a protocol needs to be developed in regard to ensuring the safety of each and every person connected with the game. He also says that in the present scenario, it is the most apt way of conducting the tournament.

Venky is well supported by Dhiraj Malhotra, the CEO of Delhi Capitals who is of the opinion that it is the only option left with us. As per him, the IPL franchises will earn some profit as gate money constitutes only 15-20 percent of their total revenue. Dhiraj agrees that the game won’t be the same without viewers but it is the only option available at the moment.
On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab have asked the BCCI to keep the option of organizing matches in empty stadiums as the last resort.
Do you think that the IPL 2020 should be organized in empty stadiums this year?

All the sporting events have been on a halt for more than 2 months due to the coronavirus pandemic and many sportspersons have used this time in increasing their online activities.

The Australian cricketer David Warner has garnered a huge fan following all over the world in last couple of months because of the TikTok videos that he posted on the video platform. David Warner’s wife and daughters are also seen in some of the videos and he has also expressed his desire of making a video with the Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
Recently, the Australian cricketer posted a photo on his Instagram account featuring him and Virat Kohli. The caption that he wrote was, “Caption this!! I am not joining Tiktok ok!! I can’t wait to get back on the park and play again but in all seriousness, it will be a great battle as always against India.”
Check out the pic:

Earlier also, David has revealed that he has invited Virat to make a TikTok video with him but the Indian skipper has refused quite a few times.
As soon as he posted the pic, fans and followers started commenting and some even asked few questions to David Warner and the Australian southpaw responded to several as well.
One user asks Warner why he is not posting videos nowadays to which the cricketer replies that he is going to share videos soon. Another netizen asks him whether fans will be able to see him and Virat Kohli together in a video.

The cricketer responds by saying that he wants the RCB skipper to do the dinosaur video on TikTok.

If you remember some time back, actress Anushka Sharma shared a video in which her hubby Virat Kohli was seen walking in a weird manner, then he looked towards Anushka and grunted loudly. Anushka wrote in the caption that she found a dinosaur on the loose. The video got viral and was loved by their fans a lot.

MS Dhoni, the former Indian skipper, is enjoying his lockdown time with his family at his farm house in Ranchi but he is still one of the most talked about cricketers of the present times. He was supposed to lead Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2020 but the tournament got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Mahi last played for India in the 2019 ICC World Cup semi-final match in which New Zealand defeated India. Since then, the wicketkeeper-batsman has not played any cricket and good performances in IPL 2020 would have helped him in getting back to the Indian squad for the 2020 ICC T20 World Cup.
Dhoni has been associated with CSK since its inauguration in 2008 and the franchise has won IPL trophy three times under his leadership. Many foreign cricketers also got to play with Mahi when they became a part of CSK including the West Indian cricketer Dwayne Bravo.
Recently, Bravo has talked about his experience of playing with Dhoni in an Instagram live chat session with Pommie Mbangwa, the former Zimbabwean cricketer. Bravo says that Dhoni is the biggest superstar but at that the same time, it is easiest to communicate with him. As per Dwayne Bravo, Dhoni’s doors are always open for all and anybody can go and talk to him despite his big stature and this makes him a very humble person. Bravo also calls CSK a very special team that has the most loyal fanbase.

Talking about CSK’s success in IPL, Bravo says that a lot of credit for the same goes to Dhoni and Damien Fleming as they both are very good students of the game. Bravo also adds that they both are given complete freedom for taking decisions and there is no outside intervention. The West Indian cricketer further states that MSD is loved by his teammates and also praises the franchise for being supportive towards players.

Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian cricketer, is pretty famous for not just his cricketing skills but also video making talent. He was very active on social media networks even before the lockdown which was imposed by the government due to the coronavirus pandemic. He is also known as a part-time TikTok star as he has posted a number of videos on the video platform and his family members can also be seen in few of them.

Yuzi also runs a program Chahal TV and recently in an interview, the Indian leggie revealed how this program started. He told that after the last T20 against West Indies in Chennai, the media manager of the team asked him whether he would take a little interview of Manish Pandey as it was Manish who won the match for the team on the last ball.
Yuzi agreed to take interview and he unintentionally used the word Chahal TV while welcoming Manish Pandey on the camera. Chahal further said that the response was great so they decided to continue and he started taking interviews of the fellow cricketers. Though sometimes he asks serious questions, he mostly tries to keep the mood happy.

While talking to ESPNCricinfo, the Indian leggie who also plays for the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) said that he was very camera shy until 2015. He got a little extrovert after he joined RCB in 2014 and won Man of the Match award. After that his personality got completely transformed in 2015 as while playing the IPL, he had to talk to many people, sometimes even on stage.
As per Yuzvendra Chahal, he got to realize that he gels well with people and he is serious only when he is on the cricket ground and bowling but the match is not in his team’s favour. Yuzi also says that he thinks only for half an hour as he is not that type of person who keeps on thinking for 3-4 hours and pressurizes himself.

Yuvraj Singh, the former Indian cricketer, is one of the best all-rounders who have ever played for the country. He was known for his hard-hitting style of batting and was an integral part of the team in the shorter formats; however, he was not able to make his impact feel in the longer format.

Yuvraj Singh has played many memorable innings including the one in which he played against England in the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup. In that match, Yuvi scored half century in just 12 balls including six consecutive sixes in one over of Stuart Broad. He also played an important role in the 2011 ICC World Cup campaign of the Indian cricket squad and helped the team in winning the tournament so he was the player of the tournament.
On June 10, 2019, Yuvraj Singh bid goodbye to the international cricket and recently he celebrated the first anniversary of his retirement. On this occasion, his friends and some foreign cricketers praised him for the wonderful career and Yuvi also made it a point by thanking his fans for the love and support. At one fell swoop, he also requested them to follow all the instructions given by the government in order to save themselves from COVID-19.
This is what Yuvraj posted, “Dear fans. I am overwhelmed and full of gratitude. Cricket will always be my life just as each of you will always be an irreplaceable part of me. As responsible citizens, let’s continue to follow the gov’t instructions on COVID-19 and do our very best to help those in need.”

Many people reacted and wished Yuvi on his retirement anniversary but one comment that was noticed by everyone was of veteran actress Kim Sharma. She wrote, “G.O.A.T.” which means greatest of all time.

It is being said that Kim and Yuvraj dated each other for quite a long time but then they got separated. While some sources say that Yuvi parted ways with Kim because she was very possessive, several others are of the opinion that Yuvraj’s mother didn’t like her because of which they both got separated.

Kim was also present in the retirement party which was given by Yuvi last year.

All the sporting events were either postponed or cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic including the IPL. However, now some restrictions have been lifted and the stadiums can be opened but without spectators.

The Indian and Australian rivalry on the cricket field is quite famous as both the teams are quite competitive and now the Indians also don’t mind indulging in sledging, something which Australians were champion of, till some years back.
The Australian tour of India has not been confirmed as of now but Australian cricketer Matthew Wade made it clear that he won’t be indulging in verbal contest with any Indian player because it may encourage the whole team and this Indian team knows how to use it for their benefit.

Now former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid has opened up on this matter and he said that it will be better for Australians that they don’t sledge Virat Kohli. He added that Virat loves to compete and he gets pumped up with such events as it happened in 2018-19 when the Indian team won the test series for the first time.

However, the former U-19 coach also opines that at the end of the day, all such things don’t matter, what matters is the skill of the player. According to Rahul Dravid, skills have to be top class and each player has to give his best against the good players.
As the numbers of coronavirus positive patients is on the rise, the chances of the Indian cricket team hitting the ground soon seems pretty less and if any cricketing event takes place, it will happen without spectators.
