Sanjay Gupta Jokes About Akshay Kumar Playing Sonu Sood In Sonu’s Biopic

The Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has become a household name and everyone is praising him for the efforts that he is making to send those people who have been stuck due to the coronavirus lockdown to their homes. People have given him many names such as man with golden heart, messiah of migrant workers, etc. but there is one joke as well which is doing rounds on the social media networks.

If you remember Akshay Kumar’s movie Airlift was about airlifting Indians from Kuwait and bringing them back to India after Saddam Hussein, the Iraqi dictator, tried to conquer the country. Now people are saying that Akshay Kumar will be playing the character of Sonu Sood in his biopic and the movie will be titled as Roadlift.

Sanjay Gupta, the moviemaker, sent this joke to Sonu Sood on WhatsApp and the latter replied with laughing emojis. As Sanjay Gupta posted the screenshot of his conversation with Sonu Sood, the joke went viral.

This is what the joke reads, “Brother in his next film Akshay Kumar, is going to play Sonu Sood! Can I get the rights please?”

While some people didn’t like it because Akshay Kumar has donated a generous amount of Rs. 25 crore in the PM-CARES fund and has been associated with many social causes, several others did not mind it and took the joke in a good spirit.

This is how Twitter reacted over it:

Suresh Raina Reacts On Yuvraj’s “Dhoni’s Favourite Player” Remark

The Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has finally responded to the statement made by the former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh as per which Suresh Raina was MS Dhoni’s favourite when the wicketkeeper-batsman was the Indian cricket team skipper.

During an Instagram live session, the left hander stated that Suresh Raina used to be Dhoni’s favourite and also claimed that Mahi included Raina in the team for the ICC World Cup 2011 despite the fact he was out of form.

Recently while talking to Fancode, Suresh Raina accepted that Dhoni has supported him a lot but only because the former skipper knew that the former is talented. Raina also revealed that Dhoni used to warn him of taking a big step whenever the former was not able to perform well and Raina in return used to ask to give him one or two games and promised not to repeat the mistakes.

Suresh Raina also talked about the problems that a middle-order batsman faces, he said that sometimes, a middle-order batsman gets to play 10-15 overs while at other times, he gets to bat 30 overs. He added that their situation is completely different as they not only have to take 2-3 wickets but have to save 15-20 runs as well. He said that playing in the middle order has always been challenging for him but he took everything in positive way.

Suresh Raina offered gratitude to MS Dhoni for supporting him and called him the best captain after Sourav Ganguly. He also said that he enjoyed while playing in the World Cup.

Suresh Raina also said that the God has also been very kind to him and he is not going to talk about whether he got less or more chances but he is happy for being a part of the WC winning team, adding that he delivered when he got the chance and he has no more demands whatsoever.

The left handed middle order batsman played a lot under Dhoni’s captaincy whether it is in the national team or in the IPL team Chennai Super Kings.

This Bollywood Superstar Trained Hrithik Roshan For His Debut Film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai

Hrithik Roshan is among the biggest and most successful stars of the Hindi film industry and he has given back-to-back hits, such as “War” and “Super 30” which made him one of the most sought actors of Bollywood at the present time. The Greek God, as he is popularly called, has a huge fan following and quite amazingly, he is one of the very few actors who gained immense love of viewers just after his debut film.

Hrithik stepped in Bollywood with Rakesh Roshan’s “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai” and the female lead in the movie was played by Ameesha Patel. The flick proved to be a blockbuster and made Hrithik a heartthrob as girls went simply crazy for him and he got more than 25,000 proposals of marriage just after the film hit the theatres. Well, it doesn’t come as a shock for a guy with chiseled physique, flawless abs and toned muscles that can drive anyone crazy. However, many don’t know the man behind Hrithik’s dashing avatar!

Any guesses?

It’s none other than Dabangg of Bollywood, Salman Khan!

Yes you read it right! Salman helped Hrithik prepare for his character in “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai” and during an interaction with MidDay, the handsome hunk revealed that the phase before his debut movie proved to be a turning point in his life as far as fitness is concerned. As he got finalized for the role, he started training meticulously with Salman and ever since, there has been no look back for him. He also disclosed that he has been passionate about dance since childhood and this is what he always preferred for staying in shape at that time.

On the professional front, it is being said that Hrithik Roshan will come up with the next installment of the “Krrish” franchise and makers will settle things after the lockdown imposed due to coronavirus gets over. Reports also suggest that Hrithik might collaborate with Om Raut, the director of Ajay Devgn’s “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” for a venture but nothing can be said with confirmation until an official announcement is made in this regard.

Till then, stay at home and practice social distancing to stay safe!

Rahul Dravid Doubts ECB’s Bio-Bubble Plan, “What If A Player Tests Positive On Day 2 Of A Test?”

The coronavirus outbreak has brought almost everything to a standstill and the sports sector is not an exception to it as well. All the sporting events were either cancelled or postponed as the governments of various nations were compelled to impose lockdown due to the increasing number of COVID-19 positive patients. Now the situation is a little bit under control and various sport authorities are looking forward to organize the tournaments while following all the precautions.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket South Africa are thinking of starting cricket tournaments by creating a bio-bubble environment. ECB will be hosting West Indies and Pakistan in July-August and for this purpose, it will ask its players to gather at Ageas Bowl on 23rd June 2020. Then they will live in isolation, away from their families, for whole nine weeks, the total period for which they will be playing cricket.

South Africa has also proposed this method for the SA-India series but former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid feels otherwise. While speaking in a webinar organized in order to support the social service organization YUVA, the former skipper says that he understands why ECB is so eager to organize the cricket tournament as it had no other cricket tournament for a long time but at one fell swoop, he expresses his opinion that he finds it unrealistic.

He also adds that although ECB may be able to create such an environment, it may not be possible for all the cricketing nations considering the fact that a lot of travelling takes place during the tours and many people are involved in the process.

Rahul Dravid further asks what if all the testing and isolation is done but on the second day of a test match, a cricketer tests positive. He questions as to what will happen at that time because as per the rules, everyone will be kept in quarantine then.

There is no denying the fact that huge losses have been suffered by the sports organizations due to the lockdown but it is also true that human lives are more important than anything else in this world. There are good chances that for some time in the near future, all the sporting events will take place without spectators.

What is your opinion regarding organizing tournaments in a bio-bubble environment? What do you feel about Rahul Dravid’s perspective? Let us know your views.

Mitchell Starc Reacts On Australian Cricketers Playing In IPL Ahead Of Domestic Cricket

The Indian Premier League 2020 has once again become one of the most talked about topics on social media since there are some reports as per which BCCI is looking forward to organize the tournament in September-October this year. However, it may happen only if the T20 ICC World Cup 2020 gets postponed which is slated to take place in Australia in October-November this year.

It is also being discussed whether the Australian cricketers will take part in the IPL or not because by then, their domestic seasons will also start. It will be a choice that the Aussies players will have to make and on being asked a question regarding this, the Aussie pacer Mitchell Starc says that he has no issue if any cricketer gives preference to the IPL rather than domestic cricket.

Yes, Mitchell says that a player can choose the IPL over domestic cricket because they are pre-existing contracts. He also makes it clear that the final decision has to be taken by the cricketer and he has to get clearance from the Cricket Australia also.

Mitchell Starc was a member of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2018 but his injuries have compelled him to stay away from the tournament for the last two seasons. When Mitchell who doesn’t have an IPL contract at this moment was asked whether he wishes to join the IPL, he said that he would think about it, though it would have been a tough call between the IPL and domestic cricket. However, he further adds that as he doesn’t have a contract, he has nothing to worry about.

Mitchell was released by KKR before the auctions and the franchisee bought Pat Cummins for a record amount of Rs. 15.5 crore.

Former Australian great Ian Chapell is of the opinion that the top cricketers of the country such as Steve Smith, David Warner, Aaron Finch, etc. should prefer to play in domestic season rather than taking part in the IPL.

Well, it all depends on whether the IPL will be held this year or not! Let’s wait and watch!

CSK Trolls RCB In Most Epic Way For Winning Indian Poll League But Never Lifting An IPL Trophy

The postponement of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 was a big disappointment for the cricket fans but it is also true that human lives are more important than anything else. The tournament was supposed to start from March 29 but it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The numbers of the coronavirus positive patients is still on the rise and there is no clarity as to whether the IPL 2020 will take place this year or not. However, there are also reports that BCCI will try to organize the league somewhere around September-October this year and there are good chances of the T20 ICC World Cup 2020 getting postponed.

While the cricketers chose to increase their social media activities by interacting with fans, conducting Instagram live chat sessions with other cricketers or the IPL franchises, the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) conducted an IPL of its own but it was a little different as its full form is the Indian Poll League and not the Indian Premier League.

In the Indian Poll League, the matches were conducted between two teams, not on the ground but on the social media networks, and the team which got more votes was declared the winner of the match. This online tournament went on for 55 days and RCB won the trophy by defeating the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by a huge difference. RCB received 85 percent of the total votes casted and the Bangalore franchise took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to announce the news of their victory.

This is what RCB tweeted, “A big thank you to everyone who made RCB the champions of the #IndianPollLeague by voting consistently, every day for the last 55 days. In the final, #RCB beat #SRH with an incredible 85 % of the votes!”

The IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) didn’t want to miss this opportunity of trolling its Bangalore counterpart. Everybody is aware of the fact that RCB’s slogan is “Ee Sala Cup Namde” which translates to “the cup is ours this year”.

CSK took a jibe at RCB by changing their slogan a little bit to “Ee Saala Cup Umadey” which translates to “the cup is yours this year”. The tweet also contained a photo of superstar Rajinikanth and the CSK fans loved the response.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is considered to be one of the best teams of the IPL but it hasn’t won the tournament even once in the last 12 years. It has some pretty big names of the cricket world in its line-up such as Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, etc. and the team has reached the finals thrice but never emerged as the winner.

Even some cricketers such as David Warner, Rohit Sharma, etc. have discussed RCB’s failure during the Instagram live chats and almost everyone wants to know why they are not able to take the trophy home despite being such a strong team.
