Aamir Khan is known as Mr. Perfectionist of B-Town as he leaves no stone unturned in making his role memorable by getting into the skin of any character that he portrays on the big screen. It won’t be wrong to say that he is the guarantee of success and it can easily be ascertained by the fact that his movie “Ghajini” was the first flick to cross the Rs. 100 crore mark. Later, his “3 Idiots” became the first ever movie to cross the Rs. 200 crore mark and then he came up with “PK” in 2014 which took the box-office by storm as it went on to cross the Rs. 300 crore mark, something which happened in our country for the first time.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, “3 Idiots” is one of the biggest hits of the Hindi Cinema and it was liked a lot by students as the movie brought forth the faults in our education system. It shows that everyone wants degree and chases marks but in actual fact, they should look for acquiring skills which eventually matter in life. Released in 2009, the flick also starred R Madhavan, Boman Irani and Sharman Joshi in important roles.
Talking about the leading lady Pia, Kareena Kapoor played the role to the perfection and after watching the movie, we all thought that there couldn’t be a better Pia than Kareena as she was vivacious, practical and mature yet she valued emotions, relationship and friendship.
Sharing the screen with the legendary actor Aamir Khan is a matter of pride for any actress but you will be surprised to know that there is an actress who turned down the role of Pia in “3 Idiots” and then it went to Kareena Kapoor.
Yes, many people don’t know that Rajkumar Hirani first offered this role to Kajol who refused to do it and if the reports are to be believed, she declined the offer because she was not happy with the character as according to her, it was not as powerful as the roles that she has done in other movies.
Kajol also opened up on the same and said that when Hirani came to her, she said that she would do the movie if she was given the main lead (Aamir Khan) or one of the other two leads (Madhavan and Sharman). Initially, the filmmaker thought that she was joking but she was serious. She also said that she did not find enough for her to do in “3 Idiots”, adding that she would not have been happy to play the character of Pia.
Well, if Kajol had agreed to do it, “3 Idiots” would have been her second flick with Aamir as a couple since they both were seen in “Fanaa” (2006) and fans loved their chemistry. Kareena and Aamir were seen together once again in 2012 released “Talaash: The Answer Lies Within” and they will again share the screen in “Lal Singh Chaddha” which is an official remake of Tom Hanks’ Hollywood flick “Forrest Gump”.

Bollywood flick “Fukrey” which starred actors Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi and Manjot Singh in important roles was loved by movie buffs so much that it prompted the makers to come back with its sequel.
While “Fukrey” hit the theatres in 2013, its second part “Fukrey Returns” got released in the year 2017 and it was such a big hit that the makers decided to go ahead with the third installment as well. What makes this series more noteworthy is the fact that there is no star in the cast but the script is the star of the franchise and not to forget that each and every actor played his/her part to the best of their capabilities.
While the announcement of the third part was made in 2017, there was no information about the plot of the film but now Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, the director of the first two installments, has revealed that the third part may revolve around COVID-19 and lockdown. While talking to the PTI, he says that the third part will also give a message and though the original script doesn’t have coronavirus included, they are thinking of adding it in the script. The director also states that the team has discussed this issue and they want to take complete care of the fact that it should seem natural and not forced.
Mrigdeep Singh Lamba further adds that he wants to make a complete film on an idea based on COVID-19 and present it in a funny way but till now, he and his team have not been able to find out a good idea.
On the question of the script, the filmmaker says that it is almost 80 percent complete as they started working on it before the lockdown was imposed and now they connect with each via phone. As per him, once the situation gets back to normal, they will decide how to proceed further. He has also disclosed that though earlier they were scheduled to start by Oct-Nov, now nothing confirmed can be said.
It is also being said that there will be some new additions in the cast for the third installment of the series.

The Indian Premier League is one of the most popular sporting events of the world and many hearts were broken when the thirteenth season of the league got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Indian government has given some relaxations in the fourth phase of the lockdown including the opening of stadiums but without spectators. This has given hopes to many cricket fans that they may now get to see the IPL taking place this year.
As per the reports, it is being said that the T20 ICC World Cup 2020 will be postponed and International Cricket Council (ICC) may make an official statement by the next week on this matter. Reports also suggest that Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) is looking forward to organize the IPL 2020 in the period starting from September 25 and ending on November 1.
A BCCI official states that for the board, the safety of fans comes first so if the IPL is organized, it will be behind closed doors and the board won’t be worried about the loss of gate money. He also adds that a huge amount will be received from the broadcasters which will be used by BCCI and the state units.
The BCCI official also talks about the statement given by the sports minister in which stress is given on the need of creating a sport ecosystem which ensures the safety of the players and as per the officer, the board clearly understands the seriousness of the situation.
The official also opens up the topic of increasing cases of coronavirus positive patients in the country. Though he is pessimistic on the chances of lockdown getting lifted up, he is quite optimistic in regard to the possibility of seeing sporting events organized this year. He states that the Indian government has to a take a call as there is no doubt that health is the most important thing and fighting coronavirus is our basic priority but we also have to make sure that things get back to normal soon. He further adds that he won’t be able to talk about the exact dates but assures that a cricket tournament will take place.

Kate Winslet, the beautiful Hollywood actress, has been a part of many wonderful movies but she is best known for her role of Rose in the romantic tragedy “Titanic”. This 1997 Hollywood release was directed by James Cameron and it also starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Billy Zane in important roles.

Kate Winslet played the character of Rose Dewitt Bukater in the movie while Leonardo DiCaprio portrayed the character of Jack Dawson. The performances of the both the actors was loved by the audiences and the film also won 11 Academy awards.
The VFX was used heavily in “Titanic” and recently a Twitter handle @MoviesVFx posted a before/after photo of Kate Winslet. This pic is from one of the last scenes in which Kate is saving herself by holding on to the rod while Jack Dawson saves her.
In the first photo, a green background is seen behind Kate as it is the scene which is without VFX while in the second scene, VFX is used.

Twinkle Khanna, the veteran Bollywood actress turned author, is known for her wittiness and good sense of humour which is easily visible in her articles and the books that she wrote. Recently, a fan edited a clip from the episode in which Twinkle Khanna appeared, it was the second episode of the season 5. We are quite sure that you will laugh out loud after watching this clip in which Karan asks Twinkle what Akshay has that Khans don’t have. In response, Twinkle said some extra inches, Karan started looking at Akshay in a confused manner. Twinkle pulled his leg by saying that she meant his feet and not cro*ch, asking him not to look at Akshay’s cro*ch. She also took a jibe at him saying that he always thinks about other people cro*ches.

The Indian government imposed lockdown in order to combat the coronavirus pandemic and despite the fact that the lockdown was done for the safety of citizens, it also resulted in problems for many persons. The people who suffered the most were from the poor sections of the society, especially the laborers who were working far from their home towns.
The governments may have been claiming to take proper care of these laborers but we have seen many of them walking on foot with their families trying to reach their home town. Indeed it is a heart-wrenching site to see people of our nation suffer in this manner and when Bollywood actor Sonu Sood was not able to bear it anymore, he decided to send these laborers home by providing them transportation.
Earlier, Sonu Sood came out to help the corona warriors as he allowed them to take rest in his hotel as the doctors and medical staff can’t go to their homes because there is risk of their family members getting infected.
The actor may have portrayed the roles of villain in the movies but by sending huge number of people to their homes, he has proved himself a real-life hero and we are sure that he will be worshipped by many of those whom he has helped.
People who were facing problems in returning to their homes were contacting Sonu Sood on the micro-blogging site Twitter and the “Dabangg” actor was replying them in positive manner. There are many creative meme makers on the virtual world and they tried to appreciate and pay respect to Sonu by making memes on him.
