Irrfan Khan’s Last Few Tweets Introduce Us To The Great Human Being He Was

International actor Irrfan Khan bid goodbye to the world yesterday and it is still hard to believe that the person who was an inspiration for many is no more with us and we are not going to watch him on the big screen anymore. Irrfan fought a pretty long battle with a rare type of cancer, neuroendocrine tumour which got developed in his colon.

Even after falling sick, Irrfan made it a point to share updates with his fans. In fact, when he came to know about his disease, he informed all his admirers and followers through a tweet:

Irrfan’s last movie was “Angrezi Medium” in which he worked with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan, Deepak Dobriyal, Ranveer Shorey, etc. and he had a video chat with some of the team members before the flick was released on Disney Hotstar. He also shared the screenshot of the video chat; however Irrfan’s face was not shown, may be because of the deteriorating condition of the actor. The film could not be released on the big screen because of the lockdown that has been imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic, so the makers decided to release it on the digital platform.

Irrfan wrote the caption, “Catching up with the #AngreziMedium family right before the #AngreziMediumPremiere was absolutely fun!”

The last tweet that was made by the “Maqbool” actor was the one in which she shared the dialogue of his movie “Angrezi Medium” which said that inside he is very emotional but outside, very happy. The caption was, “Mr. Champak’s state of mind: Love from the inside, making sure to show it outside!”

Irrfan was also quite vocal on the social issues as well and he supported the fast for the migrant labourers who were facing lot of problems due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor left the world today morning after fighting a long battle against cancer. He was a very cheerful person and was pretty active on the social media networks as well. Rishi Kapoor was one of those actors who never shied away from speaking their heart out on matters related to movies, social causes, etc.

The last tweet that Rishi Kapoor made was related to the coronavirus pandemic and he requested everyone to stand together in this war against lethal COVID-19. There were some incidents in the country in which stones were pelted on the medical staff, doctors and police personnel when they visited an area where the chances of finding coronavirus positive patients were high. Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter on 2nd April 2020 and urged Indians with folded hands not to harm the doctors, nurses, medics and policemen as these people are already risking their lives in order to keep us safe.

The coronavirus outbreak has already taken lives of more than 1070 people in India while the number of infected cases has crossed the 33K mark. If we talk about the whole world, over 2,28,000 people have lost their lives while more than 30 lakh have been found infected with the virus.

Rishi Kapoor was admitted in a hospital in Mumbai yesterday after he had breathing problem and today at 8:45 am, he took his last breath. The Kapoor family issued a statement in which they made the news of Rishi Kapoor’s demise public and informed everyone that he was jovial till the last. The statement also read that he would love to be remembered with smiles on faces rather than tears in eyes.
