Yuvraj Tried To Troll Jasprit Bumrah For His Batting Record, Got A Perfect Reply From Him

Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has conducted Instagram live chat sessions with many Indian cricketers and recently, he chatted with the Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

Jasprit Bumrah is referred to as one of the best pacers of the world in the present times and he has proved his talent many times as he helped his team in winning matches by taking wickets at crucial junctures. Bumrah who is also famous for his unusual bowling action made his debut in 2016 and since then, he has represented India in 128 matches and has taken 233 wickets.

However during the live chat session, Yuvi took a dig at Bumrah’s batting statistics as his highest in ODIs and tests is 10 while in IPL, his highest score is 16. Nevertheless, Jasprit Bumrah gave a wonderful reply as he told Yuvraj that his highest is 42 against Goa which he scored in only 20 balls.

Jasprit Bumrah’s batting record is not quite worth talking as he has scored only 19 runs in 64 ODIs that he has played but there is one incident which no Indian cricket fan will be able to forget. In March 2019, the Australian team visited India and during the fourth ODI at Mohali, the Australian pacer Pat Cummins was literally on fire as he had already taken five wickets when Jasprit Bumrah came to bat after Yuzvendra Chahal’s dismissal. It was Pat Cummins’ last delivery which he bowled full-length and to everybody’s shock, Jasprit hit it for a six. It was a big surprise for everyone including the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and that is the only six that has been hit by Bumrah along with 29 fours.

Yuvi and Bumrah share a good bond as they both have played together for the Indian team as well as for IPL team Mumbai Indians under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.

Chahal Calls Shoaib Malik Better Than Steve Smith When It Comes To Playing Spin Bowling

Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has become an important part of the Indian team as the leggy is known for taking wickets at crucial phases and other than this, he is also getting famous for his TikTok videos, especially during the lockdown period amid the coronavirus scare. Recently, he revealed the names of batsmen who play the spin bowling in the best manner.

In Yuzi’s opinion, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are the best players of spin and the skipper of New Zealand team, Kane Williamson has the capability of troubling the spinner as he plays the ball pretty late. Chahal also names Joe Root and Steve Smith as good players of the spin.

Yuzi also talked about the veteran Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and his ability to play spin bowling quite well. He recollected the memories of the Indo-Pak matches of Asia Cup 2018 played in Dubai and said that he was very impressed by the manner in which Shoaib Malik played spin bowlers.

Chahal went on to say that Shoaib Malik is even better than Steve Smith when it comes to playing spin. Yuzi along with Kuldeep Yadav created many problems for the Pakistani batsmen but Shoaib Malik managed to play them well.

Nowadays, Yuzi is busy in making TikTok videos as no cricketing event is taking place on account of the coronavirus outbreak. While some fans of Chahal have appreciated him for the videos, several others have taken a dig at him including the Indian skipper who recently called Yuzi a clown during an Instagram live chat session with AB de Villiers.

Who is the best player of spin in your opinion? Let us know your views.

Fans Trend #AwardForRamayan, Lakshman Aka Sunil Lahri’s Response Will Win Your Heart

The Indian government imposed lockdown of 21 days from March 25 as the number of coronavirus patients started increasing at an alarming rate but it was extended till May 3 as per the demand of the situation. The government also decided to re-telecast the most popular shows of 90s so that people can revisit the old days and have good time with their family members during the lockdown. The shows which are getting aired again are Ramayan, Mahabharata, Dekh Bhai Dekh, Circus, Buniyaad, etc.

Among all the shows, Ramayan is being loved by audiences the most and recently fans started trending hashtag #AwardForRamayan as they felt that the work done by the actors, directors and the other crew members deserve an award. In the serial, Arun Govil played the character of Lord Ram, Deepika Chikhalia portrayed Sita’s role while the character of Lakshman was played by Sunil Lahri.

Actor Sunil Lahri was quite happy to see #AwardForRamayan trending as he interacted with an entertainment portal. He is very pleased by the fact that fans love their work so much that they want them to be awarded. However in his opinion, no award is bigger than the love of viewers as the awards can satisfy the ego of an actor but it can’t match the recognition and appreciation that they are getting for their performances in Ramayan.

Earlier, Arun Govil also accepted that though his Bollywood career came to a halt after he worked in Ramayan, the respect and love that he has got because of playing Ram in Ramayan is immense and even 100 Bollywood movies would not have given him that. He further said that it feels great to be a part of a project which is still being loved by people and he is happy that the young generation is watching it.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar Had A Kickass Reply To David Warner’s Question During Instagram Live Chat

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has been postponed indefinitely but the IPL franchises want their fans to have some good time and for this purpose, they are organising Instagram live chat sessions among the players of their teams.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has also started a program titled as Warner’s Corner in which the skipper David Warner invites a player of his team and they both chat live on the official Instagram handle of SRH. In one of the episodes, David Warner invited the Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar as the guest of the show and they talked on many topics as they have been playing together for SRH since 2014.

During the show, Warner asked one question to Bhuvi which was sent by a fan in which he asked the Indian pacer what he would bowl to the Australian batsman (David Warner) in the last over of the final match of the T20 World Cup 2020 played at Melbourne Cricket Ground if Australia needs four runs to win on the last ball.

Warner also gave his opinion on this question as he said that Bhuvi would bowl his knuckleball delivery because it would be tough to hit a boundary on that delivery especially because the boundaries are quite big at MCG. However what Bhuvneshwar Kumar said in his reply was quite savage.

The Indian pacer said that he doesn’t think he would need to bowl the last ball as he would get him (David Warner) out in the first over.

As Warner heard this answer, he started laughing and they both had some fun chat after that.

Here is the video clip of the chat:

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was appointed as the vice-captain of the team last year and he also led the team in some matches whenever the skipper Kane Williamson was not able to play the match. Earlier, David Warner was the skipper of the franchise but after the Sandpapergate scandal, he was removed from the post of the captain. However, David Warner would have returned as captain in IPL 2020 but it is unclear whether the league will even take place this year or not.

Dhoni’s Comeback In Team India Does Not Depend On IPL, Says Aakash Chopra

One of the most important topics of discussion among the Indian cricket lovers at this moment is the return of MS Dhoni in the Indian team. Dhoni last played for India in the semi-finals of ICC World Cup 2019 which India lost to New Zealand and since then, he has made himself unavailable for selection.

While many former cricketers are of the opinion that it is impossible for MS Dhoni to make a comeback as he has not played any cricket match for a long time and age is also not on his side. However, the head coach of team India, Ravi Shastri once said that Mahi’s return in the Indian squad will depend a lot on his performance in IPL 2020. But the tournament has also been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak which has further disappointed the fans of MSD as they were hoping to see him back on the field in the league.

The big question is if IPL doesn’t take place before the T20 World Cup 2020, what the decision of the selectors will be in regard to Dhoni’s inclusion in the team.

The former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra who is a pretty famous commentator has a different opinion regarding it as he feels that Dhoni’s comeback is not dependent on IPL and it is just a misconception that people are having. He said that it is not the correct way to view Dhoni as a cricketer, his career records and achievements. Aakash Chopra feels that Dhoni will play for the team if he and the team management want that to happen.

He also pointed out that we may not see Dhoni play for India ever again if IPL and T20 World Cup doesn’t take place as in this situation, Mahi will be out of cricketing circuits for more than 18 months and he will also be a year older.

The former cricketer also has some apprehensions regarding T20 World Cup as he feels that it will be very difficult for Australia to conduct such a big tournament in October in view of the fact that Australia has already imposed travel ban till September. Aakash sees a chance of organising IPL in October-November because he thinks that bringing all the cricket teams to Australia in such circumstances may not be possible but organising IPL is quite possible as only few players have to come to India while the majority of the cricketers will be Indians.

He also adds that IPL behind the closed doors is better than no IPL this year and as a cricket lover and commentator, he will love it if IPL takes place.

What is your take on this matter? Do let us know.

Kriti Sanon Speaks On Nepotism In Bollywood, Says “It Irritates You A Little Bit & You Feel Bad”

Nepotism has become one of the most discussed and most talked about topics in Bollywood and the young stars of today also don’t shy from sharing their experiences in regard to this issue. Nepotism has been in the industry from a very long time but people started talking about it only after Kangana Ranaut brought it in limelight in Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan in which she referred to KJo as the flagbearer of nepotism.

Recently, Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon also shared her opinion on this matter in an episode of Untold Stories Season 2. Kriti talked about many things in this episode and when she was asked to comment on nepotism, she said that she is a go-getter and is capable of doing a lot in her career, adding that she wishes to work with some big directors.

She further said that though she had got many good chances but if she compares, there are many chances or opportunities that she would have wanted but had not got. As per her, she has no problem in approaching movie directors but if she had been from a Bollywood family, she would have known them already. However, the “Luka Chuppi” actress also says that after some time, it is the work that matters but it may take a little longer time or more number of hit movies in getting to the same level as that of the star kids.

When she was asked whether she has been replaced by a star kid in any movie, she replied in affirmation, saying that it has happened few times and she has been replaced by a star kid or by someone who was more popular than her. However, she said that she had no idea why she was replaced, may be the director was very much interested in taking that person.

When she was asked how she deals with such situations, she said that she gets irritated but there is nothing that can be done. Everybody has their own ups and downs and there is a reason behind everything. She said that few times she doesn’t get the movie in which she wants to work and later it turns out that the flick did not work on the box-office too, so it may be happening for good.

What is your take on nepotism in the film industry?
