The cricketers all over the world are missing their cricketing days but they are making it up by chatting with their friends from the fraternity, interacting with fans and also by making people aware of the coronavirus outbreak on the social media networks.
Some time ago, Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma had a live Instagram session with former Indian player Yuvraj Singh. Both of them talked on many issues and Yuvraj was quite straight forward in his approach when he said that nowadays the youngsters don’t respect their seniors much unlike the older times. Yuvi was of the opinion that social media networks, partying, etc. have reduced the respect for seniors in the juniors and the present Indian team doesn’t have enough role models other than Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Now former cricketer turned politician Gautam Gambhir has supported Yuvraj Singh, saying that he completely agrees with the Punjab cricketer. He also talked about the era when team India had legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman who were great players and youngsters used to idolize them.
Gambhir says that it is very important to have senior players in a team as they can guide the youngsters properly whenever they are facing tough times. The Delhi politician was speaking in a show of a sports channel and he said that the present team doesn’t have enough role models who can keep their own interests aside in order to show the right path to the young players.
Gautam Gambhir was appreciated a lot by people for donations and help that he provided for combating COVID-19 which has already taken more than 300 lives in India while over 9,000 people have been found infected with it.
We can easily say that India is going strong as far as the fight against the coronavirus pandemic is concerned as more than 1.10 lakh people have lost their lives and over 18.50 lakh are infected with it worldwide. In order to ensure that we win this battle against the lethal virus, please stay at home and maintain social distancing.
There is no denying the fact that the developing nations have been more adversely affected because of the coronavirus outbreak in comparison to the developed countries because the majority of population in developing nations is poor and the country also lacks enough resources for taking care of its citizens if a lockdown kind of situation arises.
Pakistan has also been severely affected amid the COVID-19 crisis as the number of infected cases has crossed the 5000 mark while more than 90 have lost their lives. Recently, the former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar who is pretty active on social media networks and doesn’t mind talking on important issues on his YouTube channel expressed a wish which did not go well with the Indians.
The former pacer says that if India makes 10,000 ventilators for Pakistan, their country will always remember this gesture. Not only this, he also suggests a three-match ODI series between India and Pakistan and as huge crowd will come to watch these matches, a considerable amount would be earned which can be divided equally by both the countries and those funds can be used for fighting COVID-19. He also adds that he can just give suggestions and it is up to the authorities to take the final decision.
As the Pakistani cricketer expressed his wishes, the Indian Twitterati got into action and trolled Shoaib Akhtar mercilessly. While some ask why he is begging and instead, he should ask his PM Imran Khan to do the same, several others were of the opinion that Pak is not at all serious in regard to coronavirus otherwise it would have acted decently during the SAARC meeting. Here are some of the selected tweets:

Their PM wants all loans waived off. Shoaib Akhtar wants 10,000 ventilators. Advisor to Pak PM is smuggling face masks. The population is wearing Chinese face masks made from used underwear.

Less than a month ago, Shoaib Akhtar thought of coronavirus as something divine sent as a punishment for India linking it with Kashmir insurgency. Now, he wants India to donate ventilators to Pakistan.
Shoaib changes his stands faster than Indian cricketers change their cars.
On 16th March: Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar linked Coronavirus crisis with abrogation of Article 370 from J&K and tweeted that Dear world, how is the lockdown?
Now, Shoaib Akhtar requested India to provide 10,000 ventilators for Pakistan.
Why Shoaib Akhtar? Is he the PM? Maybe PM chair is shared by cricketers. Let @ImranKhanPTI beg like his buddy did. India would think. Till then bank on masks made from used underwear and poor quality test kits from China. No one helps a country which exports terrorists and begs https://t.co/wrb4yuDNfU

Is shoaib Akhtar out of his mind?
Cricket match during this time
He wants 10000 ventilators from India. India first av to make its ventilators for its ppl. Stop spreading hate…spread some positivity..
Former cricketers Kapil Dev and Zaheer Abbas have straight away denied chances of any India-Pakistan cricket series in the near future, especially when the coronavirus pandemic has affected so many people. Gathering of people at a location has to be avoided as coronavirus is contagious which makes the suggestion of Shoaib Akhtar absolutely non-feasible.
Indians are also not in the mood to help Pakistan because the neighbouring country has been promoting anti-social activities for a long time and the tension between both the nations increased further when the Indian government carried out the surgical strikes in order to teach Pakistan a lesson.
As far as coronavirus is concerned, it has infected more than 18.5 lakh people while over 1.10 lakh have lost their lives all across the globe. Please stay at home and stay safe.

The lockdown has certainly affected the Indian film industry to a great extent as the release of few movies has been postponed indefinitely and the shooting of some flicks has also come to a halt.
Director SS Rajamouli who is best known for his “Baahubali” series was planning to start the shooting of his next movie “RRR” this month but now it has been postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak. While talking with a leading entertainment portal, the filmmaker talked about many things including the reason behind choosing Alia Bhatt for a role in “RRR”.
The star cast of the movie includes some big names from the south film industry like Ram Charan and NTR Junior and apart from them, Rajamouli has casted Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt too as he wants to give the flick a pan India appeal.
Rajamouli says that he has chosen Alia for “RRR” because he wants a skillful actress who doesn’t get overshadowed by Ram Charan and NTR Junior who are very talented actors. He further states that the actress should be innocent and vulnerable but at the same time, she should also be able to adapt as per the situation and this is why he picked Alia Bhatt for the role. However, Rajamouli also clarified that there is no love triangle in the movie and Alia is not casted opposite both the actors.
The moviemaker also talked about the impact of having Ajay Devgn and Alia in “RRR”, saying that a perfect balance has to be maintained between art and commerce and it is important to ensure that neither of them should be sacrificed for the sake of the other one. He is of the opinion that the star status that both Ajay and Alia enjoy will be helpful in attracting audiences from all over India.
Ajay’s last movie “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” was a blockbuster while Alia’s last release “Gully Boy” was also a superhit and won several awards.
We are sure that the fans of Ajay and Alia will love to see them in Rajamouli’s movie. It will be interesting to see whether “RRR” will create history on the box-office like “Baahubali” or not.
Coronavirus has brought the entire world to a standstill and majority of the nations are witnessing complete lockdown so that the chain of COVID-19 transmission can be broken. The condition in many countries is worsening day by day but still there are some people who are adamant on not following the simplest of rules like staying at home, maintaining social distancing and going out only if very necessary.

It’s indeed shameful that despite huge efforts from cops, the Indian government and medical authorities, some people are behaving immaturely and police is leaving no stone unturned to teach such individuals a lesson by giving them punishment, embarrassing publicly and even putting behind the bars.
Apart from PM Modi, various celebrities are urging people over and over again to stay at home during quarantine to stay safe from the lethal virus which has taken lives of more than 1.12 lakh people while over 18 lakhs people have been found infected with it worldwide. In India, about 8,000 people are infected with the virus whereas 273 have lost their lives.
We have seen many interesting clips and pics from celebs as well as various government departments who are taking resort to Bollywood movies for spreading awareness amid COVID-19. Recently, Jaipur Police took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and made a tweet about “Masakali 2.0” while giving people a funny yet powerful warning to spread awareness amid coronavirus scare.
Jaipur Police tweeted that people who are found roaming out of their houses for no reason will be made to listen to the track “Masakali 2.0” on loop. The text on their tweet read, “If you are unnecessarily roaming outside, we will put you in a room & play Masakali 2.0 on loop”.
Check out the tweet:
मत उडियो, तू डरियो
ना कर मनमानी, मनमानी
घर में ही रहियो
ना कर नादानी
“Masakali 2.0” starring Tara Sutaria and Sidharth Malhotra is the remix version of “Delhi 6” song “Masakali” featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor and composed by A. R. Rahman. Music lovers are not at all impressed with the reprised track and the song has attracted more criticism than appreciation.
Earlier Nagpur Police used a scene from “Chennai Express” in which Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were seen sitting on two sides of the benches and social distancing was written in the middle. In another tweet, they asked people not to go out without an important work by using a still from Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer “Kabir Singh”. Mumbai Police is also not behind as they recently tweeted a short video from Shah Rukh Khan’s “Main Hoon Na” in which they asked people to use mask to stay protected from coronavirus.
Well, listening to “Masakali 2.0” on loop is more frightening so just stay at home to remain safe!
Internet is an amazing yet weird place where all kinds of stuffs are found; from humour to knowledge, hatred to social updates, memes to viral trends! There is no denying the fact that good things which deserve to be applauded go viral on the virtual world pretty easily; however at one fell swoop, it’s equally true that some things are so bad or torturous that they get viral even sooner than the deserving stuffs, for instance, singers like Dhinchak Pooja and Taher Shah. Agree?
Pakistani singer Taher Shah took the virtual world by storm for all the wrong reasons in the year 2013 when his video “Eye To Eye” got out and he became an Internet sensation. If that torture was not enough, he came up with one more video “Angel” that gave everyone a splitting head-ache and netizens including Indian celebrities like Twinkle Khanna and Ranveer Singh couldn’t stop talking about him.
Well, the torture is back again! Yes, you read it right! Taher Shah is back with one more video that will soar your ears and you will regret watching it. His new video is titled “Farishta” and netizens are of the opinion that it’s nothing but the translated version of his previous song “Angel”.

Tahir Shah literally spent 4 years translating angel into farishta. WTF
Government needs to play this song on streets…so people can stay in homes..
