Yuvi Conducts Quiz Session About Rohit Sharma’s Career, Hitman’s Answers Will Leave You In Splits

The skipper of Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli once revealed that his teammate and vice-captain of the team Rohit Sharma has a habit of forgetting his belongings while he is travelling but now it has been proved that Hitman is bad at remembering things or facts related to his cricket career as well.

Rohit Sharma has been conducting live Instagram sessions with his friends from the cricket fraternity nowadays; earlier he chatted with Jasprit Bumrah, Kevin Pietersen, Yuzvendra Chahal, etc. and recently he was involved in an Instagram live session with former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh.

Yuvi and Rohit Sharma have played together for quite a long time while playing for India and in IPL also, they have played together. Both the cricketers share a good camaraderie and it was quite visible in their chat session too. However, Yuvraj Singh posed some problems for Rohit as he was ready with ten questions which Rohit was supposed to answer in 10 seconds each. The questions were related to Rohit Hitman’s career such as the date on which he played his last test match, the number of test matches played by him at a certain age, his height in cm, his nicknames and many more.

Rohit was able to give 5 correct answers out of 10 which once again proved that he is very good at forgetting whether it is things or answers. Rohit has also disclosed that the next player with whom he is going to chat is Harbhajan Singh.

Former Cricketer Madan Lal Reacts On Playing IPL Behind Closed Doors

The probability of Indian Premier League 2020 taking place this year seems quite bleak as there are pretty good chances of lockdown getting extended after April 15. IPL 2020 was supposed to start from March 29 but as the number of coronavirus patients increased, all the events where mass gathering was possible were banned and BCCI also postponed IPL till April 15.

There were speculations in regard to IPL 2020 taking place after April 15 and former Indian cricketer Madan Lal expressed his opinion in this matter. While talking to a leading news magazine, Madan Lal says that the first priority is to deal with coronavirus and he feels that nobody will even think of taking risk in such a critical situation.

The former Indian cricketer feels that IPL is a huge brand and it will be of no use if the matches are played in empty stadiums. The veteran player is of the opinion that IPL is not just about the players and fans but also about those who are involved in off-field activities, such as organizing, travelling, broadcasting, etc.

Coronavirus has already taken lives of more than 1 lakh people worldwide while the number of infected persons is over 17 lakh. If we talk about India, the number of cases is rising at an alarming rate as yesterday, more than 1000 cases of coronavirus were registered, the total number of infected cases in India is around 7,500 at the moment while more than 240 have lost their lives.

The best way to keep ourselves safe is to remain inside our houses so that the chain of virus transmission can be broken. Stay at home, stay safe!

Harbhajan Singh Was Highly Upset & Sorry For Slapping Sreesanth, Reveals Dominic Thornely

Indian Premier League has been entertaining all of us since 2008 and it has given some really great memories; nevertheless, some controversies have also erupted during these 12 years including the slapgate incident.

The slapgate controversy took place in the inaugural year when Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Harbhajan Singh slapped the Kings XI Punjab cricketer S Sreesanth after the match which MI lost by 66 runs. The match was played at Mohali and Yuvraj Singh was the skipper of KXIP in that season. MI was supposed to be led by Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in IPL 2008 but he got injured so Harbhajan Singh was appointed as the skipper but after he was found guilty of slapping Sreesanth, Bhajji was suspended for the whole tournament and Shaun Pollock was appointed as the skipper of MI.

Dominic Thornely, the cricketer from New South Wales who was a member of MI in that season and played 6 matches, revealed that Bhajji was quite upset with what he did to Sreesanth and the latter was seen crying profusely on the field.

Dominic visited the past memory lane while talking to a sports portal and told that Harbhajan came and sat with him in the dugout after getting out and he was very upset as MI was going to lose with margin because only two wickets were remaining. As per Dominic, he told Bhajji not to get upset and disturbed as the tournament is in its early stages and he as a captain should maintain his composure. Harbhajan agreed with him and said that remaining calm is the right call.

Dominic said that just after 5 minutes, they lost after losing two more wickets and players began to shake hands. He further added that he was 4 players away from Harbhajan and suddenly he heard the sound of slap; he was shocked to the core as to how the matter went out of hand as Bhajji assured him of remaining calm. Dominic further said that Turbanator was pretty sad with himself and regretted his action.

Talking about the match, MI got all-out for 116 in response to KXIP’s 183 which included 94 runs of Kumar Sangakkara for which he played 56 balls.

The big question at present is whether IPL 2020 will take place or not. What do you think?

Will IPL 2020 Take Place? Former IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla Answers

Cricket can easily be called religion and not just a sport in India as Indians are very passionate for the game and this has contributed hugely in the success of Indian Premier League (IPL). Every cricketer, whether Indian or foreigner, wants to be a part of IPL because he not only gets the chance of playing along with some of the greatest legends of the world but also earns a huge amount of money.

IPL 2020 was slated to start from March 29 but it was postponed by the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) till April 15 due to the coronavirus outbreak. If we talk about the present situation, the conditions have not improved and it seems pretty difficult for BCCI to conduct the tournament this year; however, the board has not made any official announcement in this regard.

The former IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla has now opened up on this matter while speaking to a leading news daily. He says that he has not supervised any preparations of IPL so far, the priority is to combat COVID-19 together and save the lives of people.

As per Rajeev Shukla, everything will depend on the decisions taken by the Indian government now and the board will go according to the orders given by the government. He also adds that it won’t be possible to start IPL by April 15 as he is hearing that most probably the lockdown will get extended further after April 15.

Coronavirus has infected around 17 lakh people and taken lives of more than 1 lakh individuals all over the world. If we talk about India, the number of infected cases is over 7,400 and 239 people have lost their lives.

Many sports events in the world have also been either cancelled or postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic as saving lives is more important than anything else.

Pat Cummins Reacts On Michael Clarke’s Remark Of Australian Cricketers Saving IPL Contracts

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the most popular cricketing events of the world and what makes it more attractive for the cricketers is the fact that they are paid huge amount of money to take part in the tournament.

Some time ago, the former Australian cricketer Michael Clarke said that the Australian players were less aggressive towards the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and other cricketers in the 2018-19 home series because they didn’t want to spoil their chances of getting a fat IPL contract.

On Thursday, the Australian skipper Tim Paine denied all such allegations and now Pat Cummins, the number one Australian bowler of the present times, has spoken on this matter. Pat Cummins said that the main reason because of which the Australian cricketers behaved in a less aggressive manner was the ball tampering scandal which took place in South Africa.

While talking to a leading news channel, the Aussie bowler said that the ball tampering scandal that happened six months before the Indian series played an important role in Australians toning down their behaviour as everyone including media wanted the Australians to be less aggressive from there on. He also said that the coach Justin Langer and skipper Tim Paine made it understandable for everyone as to which way they want the team to go.

Pat Cummins didn’t deny the fact that getting a big IPL contract may be important for some players but he also said that winning the hearts of fans is far bigger reason for being less aggressive than the IPL contract.

Pat Cummins was bought for Rs 15.5 crore by the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) last year which made him the costliest foreign player. IPL 2020 was supposed to start on March 29 but it has been postponed till April 15 due to the coronavirus outbreak and soon we will get to know whether IPL will be played this year or not.

Do you agree with what Pat Cummins said or you feel that Michael Clarke is correct in his perception? Do let us know your views in this regard.

Kiran More Revealed Dhoni Faced Some Problems At The Time Of His Debut In Team India

There is no denying the fact that MS Dhoni has contributed immensely towards the development of Indian cricket and team India and he will always be remembered as one of the most successful captains of the Indian team. Dhoni is a calm and cool cricketer who doesn’t express his emotions on his face but there is a lot going in his brain whenever he is on the field.

Dhoni made his debut in the year 2004 in the ODIs and former Indian cricketer Kiran More was the selector at that time. Recently, Kiran More talked about the time when he chose Dhoni above Parthiv Patel, Dinesh Karthik and others as More saw something special in Mahi despite the fact that he was good but not very technically equipped batsman.

Kiran More said that Dhoni faced some problems at the beginning of his career but he was able to overcome them with his hard work and determination. The former selector said that they might have noticed Dhoni’s talent but it was his zeal and hard work that made him what he is today. As per More, Dhoni worked on improving his skills and he got better with every passing day.

Kiran More who was also a wicketkeeper-batsman in his cricketing days said that Dhoni debuted first in ODI and then in test matches but he found it difficult to perform in the longer format and faced a lot of issues, especially in regard to his wicket-keeping but he worked very hard. Mahi was given many chances despite being not able to perform well in the beginning as More feels that a player can’t be judged in just 3-4 matches.

Many former cricketers may have talked on the matter of Dhoni’s return in the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup 2020 which is going to take place in Australia but the former skipper has maintained a silence on his comeback. His fans were quite hopeful of seeing him in IPL 2020 but the tournament has been postponed till April 15 due to the coronavirus outbreak and the chances of it taking place this year seem pretty low now.
