Mukesh Khanna Finally Disclosed Why Shaktimaan Went Off-Air Suddenly

The coronavirus outbreak may have brought our lives to a standstill as we are bound to remain inside our houses in order to save ourselves from the lethal virus but it has also given us a chance to rest for some time and relive our past by watching some very famous shows of past which are getting re-telecast on Doordarshan.

The Indian government demanded to re-telecast several highly loved old serials on the public demand such as Ramayana, Mahabharata, Shaktimaan, Circus, Byomkesh Bakshi, Dekh Bhai Dekh, etc.

Shaktimaan is the first superhero of the Indian television and this show was aired from 1997 till 2005. The main character of Shaktimaan was played by actor Mukesh Khanna who is also famous for his role of Bhishma Pitamah in B R Chopra’s Mahabharata. Despite the fact that Shaktimaan was one of the most popular shows, it ended abruptly and recently, Mukesh Khanna revealed the reason behind Shaktimaan coming to an end all of a sudden.

While speaking to an entertainment portal, Mukesh Khanna said that after the show got prime slot, he was promised an increase in his pay by the makers post the completion of 104 episodes. He further disclosed that despite his repeated reminders, his fee was not increased even after the 350 episodes and the makers wanted him to work further without getting a raise.

As per him, he felt as if he was getting punished for the popularity and the success of the show and the character Shaktimaan, so he chose to quit the show because of which it went off-air suddenly.

The actor also talked about the outfit of Shaktimaan and the well-known Chakra which was imbibed in the dress. Mukesh Khanna revealed that a very popular designer was roped in for designing the costume but later on, the team created the design itself post having a discussion with the unit. He also told that the inspiration of the Chakra was Anahata Chakra which controls the important organs of the body, such as heart and lungs. The color of the dress was chosen as maroon as it signifies bravery and courage.

Mukesh Khanna is also planning to bring Shaktimaan back on TV in a new version but things will get cleared and confirmed only after the lockdown is lifted and things get back to normal. Till then, sit inside your house and enjoy Shaktimaan and other shows.

Ajay Devgn Praises Mumbai Police For Serving Amid Coronavirus, Gets A Reply In Bollywood Style

The Indian government has imposed complete lockdown in the country in order to keep a check on the coronavirus outbreak but the people who are leaving no stone unturned in making this lockdown a success are the Indian cops and other law enforcement agencies.

While the whole nation is thanking the doctors and other medical staff to combat COVID-19, we should not forget the contribution made by the police personnel who are not only ensuring that individuals remain inside their houses but also supplying essential items to people, feeding the poor as well as stray animals.

Recently, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn shared a video which was uploaded by Mumbai Police and praised the department for the manner in which they are saving people. Many people are feeling that lockdown is too long and they are not able to understand what to do while at their home in this 21 days period.

In this video, some police personnel were asked what they would have done if they got a chance to stay inside their homes for 21 days, most of them said that they would have spent the time with their families, watched movies, read books, etc. as they rarely get free time in this police job.

As Ajay Devgn applauded Mumbai Police, the latter also responded but in filmy style as their answer had the names of Ajay Devgn’s movies.

The “Ishq” actor also quickly responds, saying that Mumbai Police is one of the best in the world and their contribution in the time of crisis can’t be measured. He also promises that he will stand with them whenever they will ask him.

The 21 days lockdown has been imposed by the Indian government in order to save the citizens from the coronavirus outbreak but it has also created problems for poor people, especially the daily wagers. Many NGOs, self-help groups, etc. have come forward to help the needy.

Nevertheless, it’s indeed very sad that people didn’t miss the chance of taking photos while helping the poor which didn’t go well with the actor-host Jay Bhanushali and he took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to slam those who were using social service acts as publicity stunts.

Jay tweeted, “Sorry to say but distributing food to needy has become a PR stunt for lot of so called actors..if you really want  dua/blessing from them or God pls leave you phones home..could see ppl not being comfortable with cameras around. #COVIDIDIOT #lockdowneffect #HumanityFirst”.

The actor did not take anybody’s name in his tweet but some Twitter users, especially the fans of Paras Chhabra and Mahira Sharma, started trolling him because it happened after the video of Paras and Mahira distributing food packets went viral on the Internet.

Yuzvendra Chahal is one of those few cricketers who remain in limelight even when they are not playing cricket. In the video, Yuzvendra Chahal tells how he spends time at home and also asks fans to write in comment how they are spending their quarantine. Mohammad Kaif’s Son Thinks It Was Easy To Hit Shoaib Akhtar, The Pak Cricketer Responds

The Indian cricket fans are pretty disappointed nowadays as their plan of watching IPL got cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak; however, Star Sports is giving them a golden chance of watching India and Pakistan clashes in the 50-over World Cups and that too, ball-by-ball. Well, this is certainly the best option for any Indian cricket fan as India has never lost to Pakistan in the World Cups.

While team India has always been famous for its batting, bowling has been the biggest strength of the Pakistani team. In the 2003 World Cup, Sachin Tendulkar and Shoaib Akhtar fought a battle as a batsman and bowler respectively which was ultimately won by the Indian cricketer. However, former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif found it a little difficult to face Shoaib Akhtar considering the fact that he was bowling at the pace of 150 km/hr.

Md. Kaif scored 35 runs in 60 balls and his son Kabir was not at all happy with his father’s batting. In fact, he thought that hitting Shoaib Akhtar was easy as he was generating a lot of pace. Md. Kaif himself made a tweet with a video of his son and wrote,

“Thanks to @StarSportsIndia, finally Kabir gets to relive that historic #INDvPAK game. But junior isn’t too impressed with Papa, says hitting @shoaib100mph must be easy since there is pace in his bowling. Kids today I tell you…phew! 😅#QuaranTime #LifeInLockdown”

Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar was quick to respond and he challenged Kaif for a match between Kabir and Mikael Ali Akhtar (Shoaib Akhtar’s son) so that Kabir can find out answer regarding the pace. However, it was all in good spirit and the Pakistani speedster also asked Kaif to give his love to Kabir.

Shoaib Akhtar’s tweet read, “Toh phir @MohammadKaif match ho jaaye Kabir aur Mikael Ali Akhtar ka? He’ll get his answers about Pace. Haha Give him my love.”

“Hardik-Rahul Koffee With Karan Incident Could Not Have Happened In Our Time”, Says Yuvraj Singh

Rohit and Yuvraj talked on many issues including the changing environment inside the dressing room. Yuvi who has retired some time ago also discussed about Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul episode and claimed that it would not have happened in his time.

Yuvraj Singh told Rohit that earlier seniors were used to be much disciplined, adding that every Indian cricketer was very careful about his image and how they should talk in public or in media because they were the ambassadors of the game as well as the country. He also said that earlier junior players used to fear that if they made any mistake, their seniors would come and tell this is not right and you should not do it.

The left hander further adds that he feels the respect towards seniors is now decreasing among the juniors because of the social media, parties, etc. Yuvraj also says that the juniors don’t have many players to look up to as only Virat and Rohit are playing all the formats, the remaining are coming and going.

Rohit says that the environment in the dressing room is light now and he keeps on talking to all the youngsters. Hitman also reveals that he talks mostly to Rishabh Pant who is just 20-21 years old but media writes a lot about him and mostly is negative.

Yuvraj also expresses his views that the younger generation is not much interested in test cricket which is real cricket and even the players who are playing for India should play in domestic cricket whenever they have time as it will help them in earning experience of playing on different surfaces.

The Indian government imposed a 21 days lockdown so that the lives of people can be saved but the problem that is being faced by a number of persons is how to pass their time at home. There is no denying the fact that lockdown will affect our economy in an adverse manner but there is something good as well which is happening due to this. Because of the lockdown, the pollution levels have gone very low and people are able to see sky clearly in many metro cities. Even wild animals were seen on the roads of some cities and the air in Delhi has also become breathable.

Lately, the residents of Jalandhar shared their happiness on Twitter as they started posting photos of Dhauladhar Range Mountains which they were able to see from the terraces of their houses. Till now, people were not able to see them clearly due to pollution but the sight is quite different and soothing to eyes now.
