English is one of the most spoken languages of the world and India is among those countries where the count of English knowing people is quite high. The middle class or upper class Indians study in English medium schools so they have good knowledge of English and they are not only able to understand but can also speak in the English language quite fluently and easily.

However, there are still many Indians who are not able to speak or understand English and such people are mainly from the weaker sections of the society or from the rural parts of India. In fact, it has become a general presumption that people from rural India can’t speak in English properly.

Currently, a video is going viral on the Internet and social media in which an elderly woman who is said to be from Rajasthan is seen speaking in English and she is talking about Mahatama Gandhi. The old woman gave a good description of Bapu and she started by telling that Mahatama Gandhi was the greatest man of the world. She further said that Mahatama Gandhi was from a normal family, he used to live simple life, eat simple food and drink goat’s milk.

The elderly woman talked about Gandhi’s love for non-violence and also told that the father of the nation loved both Hindus and Muslims. Apart from this, she talked about some other things as well.

A Twitter user has shared this video with caption, “How many marks out of 10 for the old lady for this spoken English Test?” while in another tweet, he expresses desire to know how many marks the Congress leader Shashi Tharoor will give to this old woman.

Vivek Oberoi Hilariously Reacts To Donald Trump’s Mispronunciation Of Swami Vivekananda’s Name

The USA President Donald Trump came to India for two days on 24th and 25th February 2020 and he was given a grand welcome by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government. Donald Trump arrived at Ahmedabad and first visited the famous Sabarmati Ashram. Then he took part in the road show before attending the Namaste Trump event which was held at Motera Stadium.

The American President addressed a huge crowd during the event and he also took names of some Indian greats in his speech but he was not able to pronounce their names properly. He mispronounced the names of Indian cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda is counted among the greatest Indian religious teachers and Donald Trump mispronounced his name as Vivekkamundan.

Donald Trump was slammed a lot by Twitterati for not researching and practicing the names of those great Indians whose names he was supposed to take in his speech.

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi also took a dig at the American President by sharing a meme on the micro-blogging site Twitter in which the actor is seen in a bald look and it has been named as, “Vivek Ka Mundan”, something similar to what the President of USA spoke.

In the first tweet, Vivek shared the video in which the USA President Donald Trump can be heard mispronouncing Swami Vivekananda’s name, here is what he wrote, “Hey @realdonaldtrump this is probably not who you meant, #swamivivekananda is one of the tallest spiritual leaders #india is proud to have had. But solid points for making the effort anyway, a warm gesture of friendship.”

Diljit Dosanjh Photoshopped Himself In Ivanka Trump’s Pic, Got An Epic Response From Ivanka

Diljit Dosanjh, the singer and Punjabi actor, is now slowly establishing himself in the Hindi movie industry as well. His last release in Bollywood was “Good Newwz” and the flick has performed great on the box-office. Other than Diljit, it also starred Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani in important roles.

The USA President Donald Trump made his first visit to India on 24 and 25 February and Ivanka also accompanied him along with other family members and staff. During this trip, Ivanka also visited Taj Mahal and she certainly loved the beauty of Taj.

Diljit photoshopped himself in one of the images in which Ivanka is seen posing in front of Taj and wrote that Ivanka insisted a lot on going to Taj Mahal so he had to take her to Taj. Diljit’s tweet read,

Virat Kohli Forgets “Nice Guys” Comment, Acts Aggressively After Kane Williamson Got Out

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is certainly not having a good tour of New Zealand and many people on social media are attributing his failure to the fact that he has not been as aggressive on field as he used to be. Just before the start of the T20I series, Virat called the New Zealand cricketers “nice guys”. During the T20I series, Kohli was also seen having a friendly chat with Kane Williamson; however, the Indian skipper was seen in an aggression mode once again during the second test match between India and New Zealand.

India has already lost the first test match of the two test match series and they have no option other than winning this match if they don’t want to lose the series and the point as well which will decide their standing in the ICC World Test Championship.

The Indian team may have whitewashed the 5-match T20I series but they lost the 3-match ODI series before losing the first test match. What makes the matter worse is that the Indian batting disappointed once again as they bundled out for 242 in the first innings. Nevertheless, the Indian bowlers gave a superb performance and sent the complete team of New Zealand back to pavilion for the score of 235.

Indian pacer Umesh Yadav got rid of Tom Blundell after whom the Black Caps skipper Kane Williamson came on the pitch. After scoring 3 runs, Kane got caught out behind the wickets by Rishabh Pant as he edged a delivery and the Indian players started celebrating as it was a huge wicket for them. At that time, the Indian skipper was seen giving a fiery send-off to his counterpart and before that as well, Virat was seen involved in a banter with the crowd.

Hardik Pandya Lands Into Another Controversy As He Made Comeback In DY Patil T20 Cup

Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya was out of the cricketing circuits for almost 5 months due to a back injury which he got in a match against South Africa in September last year. In October, he had a surgery and it seems that he has recovered completely as he has made a comeback on the cricketing field in the DY Patil T20 Cup. He scored 38 runs (25) for the Reliance 1 team and also picked up three wickets.

However, his comeback has also started a controversy as he was wearing the Team India helmet which is the violation of a code. In 2014, the Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) instructed the match referees to ensure that the national cricketers should not sport the logo of BCCI while they are participating in any domestic cricket tournament.

As per an official, this rule has been enacted since the start of the season but it has been implemented seriously during the Deodhar Trophy which was played between West Zone and East Zone and concluded in recent times. Nevertheless, the cricketer didn’t follow the rule and now he may face the consequences of violating the code.

Chief National selector MSK Prasad also watched Hardik Pandya’s performance and he was pretty happy with it. India will need Hardik in the team for the ICC T20I World Cup 2020 which will be played in Australia this year.

Hardik’s fitness has been a concern for the Indian team management as he is being observed closely by them, especially after he didn’t turn up to play for India “A” against New Zealand “A” before the India’s tour of New Zealand.

Hardik is a member of the IPL team Mumbai Indians (MI) and the MI support staff, which includes the former Indian cricketers such as Robin Singh, Zaheer Khan, Pravin Amre and Kiran More, is also keeping a close eye on Hardik’s fitness.

If everything goes well, Hardik will be playing in the IPL opener on March 29 which will be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Twitter All Praises For Ravindra Jadeja For His Stunning Catch Of Neil Wagner In IndVsNZ

The Indian cricket team is once again struggling in New Zealand in the second test match as it has lost 6 wickets for just 90 runs in the second innings. The visitors were asked to bat first by the Black Caps after winning the toss but the Indian team managed only 242 runs on the board which is not a respectable score considering the fact that they are playing a test match. However, the Indian bowlers performed brilliantly and bowled out the whole New Zealand team for just 235 runs and that gave India a lead of 7 runs.

The pick of the Indian bowlers was Mohammed Shami who took 4 wickets and was well supported by the other bowlers – Jasprit Bumrah (3 wickets), Ravindra Jadeja (2 wickets) and Umesh Yadav (1 wicket).

However, the man of the moment on social media networks is Ravindra Jadeja because of the stunning catch of Neil Wagner that he took on the bowling of Mohammed Shami. Neil was batting in a pretty good manner as he added 51 runs in partnership with Kyle Jamieson and they both were becoming problems for the Indian bowlers.

Neil Wagner played a pull short on Mohammed Shami’s ball which was looking to reach the deep square leg boundary easily but just then Jadeja came running from square leg and jumped high to take a stunner with just one hand.
