Akshay Kumar, the Bollywood actor, is very much involved in many other social and charitable activities. The “Good Newwz” star who is also a martial art expert is a quite vocal supporter of women and girl learning self-defense so that they know how to keep themselves safe in unforeseen circumstances. Many times, he is seen attending events at the venues where the girls are taught several forms of martial arts.
Recently, the “Kesari” actor took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and posted a video in which he is seen attending the graduation day of a Women’s Self-Defense Center which is run by him. The event was also attended by politician Aditya Thackeray and in the video, Akshay asked the girl why she is learning martial art and her answer was just awesome.
The girl says that she has always wanted to play the sport of football but she was not able to get a place in any team. Her mother has told her that if she learns how to defend herself, she may get a chance to play football. She has also clarified that she doesn’t fight with players but she has told them in advance that she knows how to defend herself.
Akshay tells the girl that he is proud of her and here’s the caption with which the actor has shared the tweet,

Currently, the “Rustom” actor is busy with the shooting of “Laxmmi Bomb” in which he is again working with Kiara Advani. The movie is a horror comedy and it is the Hindi remake of southern movie “Muni 2: Kanchana”. The film which is produced by Tusshar Kapoor and directed by Raghava Lawrence will hit the theatres on Eid 2020 and will clash with Salman Khan starrer “Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai”.

Deepika Padukone’s last release “Chhapaak” didn’t perform well on the box-office but her acting was appreciated in the movie. “Chhapaak” was based on the real-life story of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal and Deepika played the lead role in the film. With this flick, the “Bajirao Mastani” actress also made her debut as producer in Bollywood.
During the promotions of “Chhapaak”, a reporter asked Deepika whether her husband Ranveer Singh has also invested in the movie as it is “ghar ki baat”. In response, Deepika made it clear that it is her hard-earned money which she is investing in her film and not her husband’s money.
Recently, she gave an interview to a leading daily during which she talked about that episode again and she said that the question was a multi-layered one with no sense. Deepika said that there can be various aspects to this question such as looking for a headline that can create sensation or the old thoughts as per which a woman can’t be self-reliant financially.
According to her, it is mostly considered in the Indian society that a woman is always dependent on the male of the house, whether her father or husband. The Indian cricket team is going through a difficult phase as the manner in which it is playing, there are pretty good chances that it will lose the two-test match series to New Zealand as the hosts are already leading by 1-0 and in the second match also, the Indians have gotten out for a meager score of 242 in their first innings.
The 2nd test match is being played at Hagley Oval and New Zealand invited the visitors to bat after winning the toss. India didn’t get a good start as Mayank Agarwal departed early at the personal score of 7; however, Prithvi Shaw and Cheteshwar Pujara stabilized the innings. When the situation seemed to be getting better, Prithvi got out at 54 and Indian skipper Virat Kohli came on the pitch.
Virat Kohli has not been in a good form during this New Zealand tour; though as per him, he is in a good phase but his scores are not matching with his words. He once again got out early after scoring 3 runs but it was his decision to take DRS which irritated the Indian cricket fans.
Virat was adjudged LBW out on the bowling of Tim Southee and it was such a clear LBW that Tim didn’t even look at the umpire before starting to celebrate his wicket. Even with naked eye, it was pretty clear that the ball would have gone at the middle stump and taking DRS for this decision was certainly not needed. The Indian fans were certainly not happy with the attitude of the Indian skipper as he wasted a review while 7 wickets were still remaining.
