Sanjay Manjrekar & Ravindra Jadeja Had A Banter On Twitter About Man Of The Match Award

The Indian cricket team is in a tremendous form; after defeating Australia at home, they are now on a tour to New Zealand and are leading in the 5-match T20I series against the hosts by 2-0.

While the first match was a high scoring one, the second was a low scoring match with the hosts managing only 132 runs at the loss of 5 wickets within the stipulated 20 overs. The Indian batsmen achieved the target with more than two overs remaining to be bowled; KL Rahul (57) and Shreyas Iyer (44) batted brilliantly to ensure India’s victory.

Earlier, the Indian bowlers made it difficult for the New Zealand batsmen to score runs as Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah were quite economical. Many were hoping that the Man of the Match award will be given to Ravindra Jadeja as he not only bowled economically but also sent two superb batsmen Kane Williamson and Colin de Grandhomme back to the dressing room.

However, the Man of the Match award was given to KL Rahul. The former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar also wanted a bowler to get the award so he expressed his disappointment on Twitter by making a tweet.

He wrote, “Player of the match should have been a bowler. #INDvNZ”

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was quick to respond by asking the former cricketer to name the bowler. Jadeja’s tweet read, “What is the name of that bowler?? Pls pls mention”.

Sanjay responded with, “Ha ha…Either you or Bumrah. Bumrah, because he was extremely economical while bowling overs no 3, 10, 18 and 20.”

There was a time when Sanjay Manjrekar was slammed by Twitterati for insulting comments on Ravindra Jadeja as the former cricketer called the Indian all-rounder as “bits and pieces” cricketer. Jadeja also reacted to Manjrekar’s comments and asked him to shut his mouth as he had played more matches than Manjrekar and is still playing. He also asked him to respect people who have achieved something in life.

Alaya F Was Asked What She Has That Ananya Doesn’t Have. She Gave The Coolest Reply

One more star kid is going to make her debut in Bollywood pretty soon and she is already making heads turn. We are talking about the beautiful young girl Alaya F who is getting her big break with Saif Ali Khan and Tabu starrer “Jawaani Jaaneman”. The movie is based in London and Alaya is playing the character of Saif and Tabu’s daughter. “Jawaani Jaaneman” is directed by Nitin Kakkar and will be releasing on 7th February, 2020.

Alaya is from a filmy background as her maternal grandfather Kabir Bedi is a renowned actor and her mother Pooja Bedi has also tried her luck in acting. She is a pretty confident girl who doesn’t mind talking about even the controversial issues such as nepotism.

Alaya was asked during a talk show what she has which Ananya doesn’t have and in reply, she says, “a good answer on nepotism”. However at one fell swoop, she also tells the host that she doesn’t want to sound mean contrary to the host’s expectations.

If you remember, there have not been many days when Chunky Pandey’s daughter and Bollywood actress Ananya Panday got trolled heavily after she compared the struggle of an outsider to her father not getting a chance to work in Dharma Productions and not being invited on Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan. It all happened during a roundtable interview in which some other young actors were also present.

Alaya also tries to clarify Ananya’s stand as she says that every star kid must be having an understanding of nepotism, struggle and privilege; however, what matters is how an individual puts his/her perspective in front of others. If one or two words are misplaced, it will be taken in a wrong way.

She further said that she felt everything fine when she saw the roundtable for the first time but when she saw it again, she felt that Ananya must be having a clarity on this matter but it is also important to know how to put your views in front of others.

While Alaya is busy in the promotions of her debut movie, Ananya Panday is occupied with the shooting of “Khaali Peeli” which also stars Ishaan Khatter.

Talking about Rishabh Pant, it seems that his place in the team is in risk now as KL Rahul is not only batting brilliantly but also keeping the wickets in a pretty good manner. There is no denying the fact that Pant got ample chances to prove his worth but he disappointed the team management and cricket lovers most of the time and that too, both with the bat and gloves.

It won’t be wrong to say that Yuzvendra Chahal will also find it difficult to keep his place intact in the team as he has to compete with Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav.

ICC Calls Marnus Labuschagne Duplicate Of Steve Smith In Viral Meme Challenge, Twitter Reacts

Internet and social media offer amazing platforms to have fun and what make them more interesting are the new challenges which keep on cropping every now and then. Presently, a challenge “LinkedIn Facebook Instagram Tinder” is going on and users are posting their photos with each website’s name.

The social media team which handles the official accounts of International Cricket Council (ICC) also decided to have some fun by making posts under this challenge and lately they posted pics of Steve Smith in this regard on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

In the first three boxes – Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram, ICC pasted the photos of Steve Smith but in the fourth section, i.e., under Tinder, the pic of another Australian player Marnus Labuschagne was pasted with caption “Duplicate Account” instead of “Tinder”.

The Australian cricketer Steve Smith returned to the team in World Cup 2019 after serving a suspension of one year for the ball tampering scandal. Post Steve’s ouster from the team, Marcus Labuschagne was brought into the team as his replacement. So it was quite obvious that people started making comparisons and what made it more interesting was the fact that Marcus looks quite similar to Steve as well.

While some cricket lovers loved the humour behind the meme, few called Marcus the next Steve Smith. However, there were few who slammed ICC for getting busy in making memes and some others were not happy with the fact that ICC called Marcus a duplicate account as they felt that Marcus is a better player than Smith. Several netizens even asked ICC to change duplicate account to second account.

Well, calling Marcus the next Smith doesn’t seem to be appropriate as the latter has a lot of cricket in him and he is not going to retire any time soon.

Marcus Labuschagne performed well whenever he got the chance whether it’s Ashes or against New Zealand and Pakistan in the test matches. Presently, both Steve and Marcus are busy playing in the Big Bash League, while Steve is a part of Sydney Sixers, Marcus is playing for Brisbane Heat.

Stealing, cheating and lying are ancient. We are living in times when sending anything less than a beautiful flower arrangement can bring on breakups and cause heartbreaks. If you think that just the gesture counts, it is time to rise and shine. Cutting corners on flower arrangements – can be a dealbreaker and make herself question the man she is dating. And just not giving her one- well, you got a special mention for yourself for all those times when she is sitting with her girlfriends and when they could use some crackling laugh about.

KL Rahul Reacts To Journalist’s Question On Rishabh Pant’s Comeback In Team India

The Indian cricket team has certainly made its fans proud by winning the first T20I against New Zealand after chasing a huge total of 204 runs. The first match was played at Eden Park, Auckland, which is New Zealand’s largest sports stadium.

Batting first, New Zealand batted pretty well and put a huge total of 204 runs on the board. India’s start was not good as Rohit Sharma got out early but KL Rahul (56) and Virat Kohli (45) not only handled the situation well but also scored runs at good pace in order to keep the run rate in check. Shreyas Iyer (58) came at number 4 and ensured that India won the match.

KL Rahul has been in superb form and what makes him more precious for the team is the fact that he is also keeping the wickets which provides the team management with an option to include one more batsman to bring balance and stability in the team. KL Rahul is not new to wicket-keeping; in IPL, he does wicket-keeping for his team Kings XI Punjab and in domestic circuits, he does the same for his home team Karnataka.

However, earlier Rishabh Pant used to keep the wickets for India but he suffered concussion in the last series and then Rahul was asked to don the gloves. Considering the fact that Rahul is doing a good job not just as a batsman but as a wicket-keeper as well, chances of Rishabh Pant of making in the team for T20 World Cup seems bleak.

After the match in the press conference, KL Rahul was asked about the comeback of Rishabh Pant in the team to which he replied that it is not up to him.

What he said is absolutely true as it is with the team management to decide whether to bring Rishabh Pant back or not but it seems that the team management and skipper are quite happy with the present composition and as KL Rahul is pretty fine with wicket-keeping, there is no point in bringing Pant back.

Rishabh Pant has already got many chances and has failed in making an impact both with the bats and gloves. Many cricket fans feel that even if the team management wants to include a specialist wicket-keeper in the squad, Sanju Samson should be given a chance now.

Street Dancer 3D & Panga Day 1 Collections Out. Figures Are Awesome For Street Dancer 3D

This weekend two Bollywood movies have released and both the flicks belong to different genres. While one of them is a women-centric film, the other is youth-centric dance movie. Yes, we are talking about “Panga” and “Street Dancer 3D”.

Street Dancer 3D:

“Street Dancer 3D” has started its journey on the box-office with a bang as it has minted Rs 10.26 crore on its opening day.

Dance forms the base of Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer “Street Dancer 3D” as there are two dance groups that are always hell-bent on insulting each other. The story is based in London in which Varun Dhawan leads the Indian dance group while Shraddha is a part of the Pakistani troupe. However later in the film, both the groups come together for a noble cause and give a message of solidarity and brotherhood. The movie also stars Prabhu Deva, Nora Fatehi and Aparshakti Khurana in lead roles and has been directed by Remo D’souza.

Panga:

“Panga” has got a slow start on the box-office with a collection of Rs 2.70 crore on its opening day.

The Queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut is back on the big screen with “Panga” in which she is playing the character of a Kabaddi player. It is the story of a female national level Kabaddi player who sacrificed her career for her marriage and family. She always felt that she would have achieved more in life if she had continued to play Kabaddi. Many years later when her son came to know about it, he asks his father to encourage Kangana for making a comeback.

The movie also stars Richa Chadha, Neena Gupta, Jassie Gill, Pankaj Tripathi in important roles. Each and every actor has performed pretty well, the story is beautifully written and the director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has ensured that every scene of the flick makes an impact on viewers.

There is no denying the fact that Ajay Devgn’s “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” has affected the collections of both the flicks since it’s still going strong; however, there are pretty good chances of “Street Dancer 3D” performing brilliantly during weekends as it has a big star-cast and films of such genre are loved by youth. What’s more, highlight of the movie is Prabhu Deva’s dance sequence on “Muqabla” which will make fans relive the past as the track was in a south movie of the dance legend.
