Twitter Heavily Slams BCCI For Including Rishabh Pant In Grade A In Annual Contract List

The Indian cricket fans are not happy nowadays, firstly because Australia literally crushed India in the first ODI as they didn’t even lose one wicket in achieving the target and secondly, BCCI didn’t includ MS Dhoni in the annual contract list. Now there is a third reason because of which BCCI is getting heavily slammed by the Indian cricket lovers and that reason is inclusion of Rishabh Pant in the Grade A list.

Rishabh Pant has been touted as a special talent by the selectors and some other officials of BCCI and team management as well. Though he has shown signs of brilliance at some moments, he has certainly failed to impress despite getting many chances.

He first played for India in the year 2017 in a match against England at Bengaluru. He has played some good innings but there is no doubt that his performances have not been satisfactory neither with the bat nor behind the wickets. Many times we have seen him making silly mistakes while wicketkeeping during the match and the Indian crowd makes no delay in chanting, “Dhoni, Dhoni” which shows how much they miss their favourite cricketer.

While some cricket fans are supporting inclusion of Sanju Samson in place of Rishabh Pant, BCCI awarding him Grade A contract is something nobody is able to digest, especially when Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal are in Grade B.

Sanju Samson Made A Weird Tweet After Getting Dropped From New Zealand Tour

Every cricketer loves to play for the country, in fact it is the dream that they see from their childhood days. So it is kind of obvious that a player will get dishearten if he is dropped from the national team without even getting sufficient chances to prove his worth.

Something of this sort has been happening with the Indian player Sanju Samson. The Kerala cricketer who plays for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL last played for India in the year 2015 but suddenly he was back in the national scene as his name was included in the team selected for three match T20I series against Bangladesh and he was also in the squad which defeated Sri Lanka by 2-0.

However, his name is not included in the team which is selected for the tour of New Zealand where India is going to play five match T20I series. This has certainly disappointed Sanju Samson who scored a double century in the 50 over match in the Vijay Hazare tournament in September last year.

Sanju is quite unhappy with the manner in which he has been dropped and he expressed his unhappiness on the micro-blogging site Twitter with a cryptic post in which he wrote just a comma.

This comma certainly talks about the dilemma that he is facing regarding his career. Many Indian cricket fans are also not happy with the fact that Sanju is not given adequate chances despite the fact that Rishabh Pant has failed to prove himself even after getting many chances and that not just behind the wickets but with the bat as well.

Sanju didn’t played a single match in the Bangladesh series even after being included in the team and then he was dropped for West Indies, it was Shikhar Dhawan’s injury because of which Sanju was called back in the team against Sri Lanka.

Twitter Gets Angry After Not Seeing Dhoni’s Name In BCCI Annual Contract List For 2019-20

MS Dhoni is one of the most loved cricketers of India and his fans are presently very angry with Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as it has not included the wicketkeeper-batsman in its annual contract list. The rumours regarding Dhoni’s retirement have been doing rounds for a long time now but Dhoni has chosen to remain mum on this matter.

The last match that Dhoni played for India was the World Cup 2019 semi-final in which India lost to New Zealand. On the other hand, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, Ravi Shastri has said it many times that Dhoni’s future in the T20I cricket will very much depend on the manner in which he will perform in the Indian Premier League 2020.

The annual contracts of BCCI are categorised as A+, A, B and C. This year, Grade A+ contract worth Rs. 7 crore have been awarded to Virat Kohli (C), Rohit Sharma (VC) and Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

Players who have been awarded with the Grade A (Rs. 5 crore) contract are Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Rishabh Pant.

The Grade B (Rs. 3 crore) contract has been awarded to Yuzvendra Chahal, Mayank Agarwal , Hardik Pandya , Umesh Yadav  and Wriddhiman Saha.

The players who got the Grade C (Rs. 1 crore) contract are Manish Pandey, Shardul Thakur, Kedar Jadhav, Navdeep Saini, Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Chahar, Hanuma Vihari and Washington Sundar.

While it is a reality that one day Dhoni has to retire, his fans are not able to accept that his name is not in the list and this omission from the contract list may be a signal to the captain cool to make a decision about his future.

David Warner Was Asked About Opening With Aaron Finch In World Cup 2023. He Had A Hilarious Reply

India will be facing the Australian team in the second ODI tomorrow at Rajkot. The visitors have already taken a lead of 1-0 as they have won the first ODI pretty comfortably. It was quite surprising to see that the Indian bowlers were not able to take even a single wicket.

Batting first, team India managed to put up a total of 255 on the scoreboard and gave the target of 256 to the visitors which they managed to score in the 38th over without losing a single wicket. Both the Australian openers David Warner and Aaron Finch scored centuries.

Many times, David Warner and Aaron Finch have proved that they are among the best opening pairs of the present times and after this match, the cricket fans are talking about them opening the innings for Australia in the 2023 World Cup which will be played in India.

When David Warner was asked about it, he gave a funny reply and said that they both need to talk to their wives first, the reason being that they both will be 36-37 at that time.

He further adds that he already has three kids and hopefully the third one is the last one. However, Warner also says that they will take one step at a time and presently, their focus is on the Rajkot match only.

David Warner and Aaron Finch have been opening the innings for Australia since 2014. Till now, they have played 59 matches and scored 3050 runs together at an average of 52.58. Nine times, they have scored more than 100 in partnership and 13 times, more than 50 and their best partnership score was 258 which they scored in this series in Mumbai.

As per Warner, they both understand each other pretty well and their camaraderie is quite well on-field as well as off-field.

Pak Cricketer Mohd. Amir Reacts On Virat Kohli’s Speech After Getting ICC Spirit Of Cricket Award

The skipper of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli got the ICC Spirit Of Cricket Award 2019 for the gesture that he showed towards Steve Smith in the World Cup 2019. In his speech after getting the awards, the Indian cricketers asked the youngsters not to judge someone, especially in their early phase of the career.

During the World Cup, in a match between India and Australia, the crowd was booing Steve Smith as he was back after serving the suspension which he got due to the ball tampering incident. At that time, Virat Kohli asked the crowd not to boo Steve.

The Indian cricketer further said that Steve Smith was coming out of a tough phase and must be emotionally weak so it is absolutely wrong to take advantage of his emotions.

Kohli has often been accused of being too aggressive and once he has also been fined with 50% of his match fees for showing middle finger to a group of audience which was behaving badly with him.

Virat Kohli Discloses The Most Favourite Moment Of His Life & Fans Will Love It Too

Virat Kohli, the skipper of team India, is undoubtedly one of the best players the cricket world has ever seen and his fans consider him as the greatest of all times (GOAT).
