Glenn Maxwell, the Australian cricketer, is certainly one of the biggest hard-hitters of the present times. Recently, he once again showed his capability to send bowlers out of the fence at his will in a match against Melbourne Renegades in Big Bash League.

Maxwell who plays for Melbourne Stars was at his best when he scored 83 runs from just 45 balls. Batting first, the Renegades put up a score of 168 on the board after losing 7 wickets. Shaun Marsh was the highest scorer for Renegades as he scored 63 runs.

The start of the Stars was not good and when Maxwell came to bat, the score was 54/3 in seven overs. He started with singles and stabilized the innings with Nick Larkin. He started hitting the ball hard when only 5 overs were remaining and his team needed 60 runs to win the match. The Stars won the match with 8 balls remaining to ball which definitely happened because of Glenn Maxwell who hit 7 sixes and 1 four.

Well, Maxwell may be a hard hitter of the ball but he is quite a humble guy off the field. When his Stars teammate Sandeep Lamichhane, the Nepali cricketer, took to Twitter to praise him and his huge hits and asked him whether he really belongs to this planet, Glenn’s answer showed how down to Earth he is.

Rahul Dravid, the former Indian cricketer, is celebrating his 47^th birthday today and Twitter is flooded with birthday wishes from former cricketers and his fans from all over the world.

There is no denying the fact that Rahul Dravid is a true gentleman and he was a selfless cricketer. He was ready to take up any role that his team needed him to take up. Rahul Dravid entered the International arena in 1996 and he served the Indian cricket for 16 long years. The legend has more than 10000 runs on both the formats each – ODI and Test match, a feat which few batsmen have not achieved till date.

He led the team during the Chappell era and undoubtedly it was one of the toughest phases for the Indian cricket.

As far as “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” is concerned, the movie is getting great response all over India, especially in Maharashtra and nearby states. The first day collections of the flick have been superb as it has minted whopping Rs 15.10 crore on Friday and experts are pretty sure that the amount will increase further in the weekend.

Unfortunately, Deepika’s “Chhapaak” did not get the start that was expected from it and its first day earnings were below the expectations. The movie collected Rs 4.77 crore on the box-office on Friday and the collections have to grow for getting a respectable weekend total.

Ajay Devgn starrer is a historical war drama in which the “Golmaal” actor has portrayed the character of Tanhaji Malusare, a Maratha military leader who served during the regime of the great ruler Chatrapati Shivaji. This movie is based on the battle of Sinhagad in which Tanhaji with his forces fought against Udaybhan Singh Rathod, a Rajput who served the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb.

The character of Udaybhan is being played by Saif Ali Khan whereas Kajol is portraying Tanhaji’s wife Savitri Malusare. The actors are being applauded for their superb performances and watching the film in 2D and 3D format is certainly increasing the enjoyment of viewers.

On the other hand, Deepika Padukone starrer “Chhapaak” is based on the story of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor. In simple words, it is a reality check for people of the society and is an attempt to make them aware about the plight of acid attack survivors. The flick shows the suffering and struggles of a victim and what should be done to stop such incidents. Actor Vikrant Massey has also played an important role in the movie.

Well, if there is a difference of earnings between both the movies, there is also the difference in their budgets. While the budget of “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” is said to be Rs 150 crore, Chhapaak’s budget must be around Rs 35-40 crore.

Nowadays we get to watch many short movies on YouTube, some of them seem to be interesting and have great narration while several others don’t excite us at all. Here we present an intriguing short film which will keep you hooked to your screen till the last scene gets over.

The title of the film is Har Raat Wahi Baat/Midnight Error and it has a wonderful cast including the famous actor Rajit Kapur with Chetan Sharma and Tanima Bhattacharya.

There are times when audience is able to guess the climax of the movie correctly but we are quite sure that this time, it is impossible to know what happens in the end.

The story revolves around a retired Brigadier Indresh, played by Rajit Kapur, whose car broke down in the middle of the road during the night and he had to knock the doors of a villa which has been turned into a Guest House. There he is welcomed by a gorgeous house lady who is dressed in a pretty bold manner while her husband is a wheel-chair bound person.

Strange things start happening with Indresh and he becomes restless but all the time he is comforted by the house lady. However then he found something which reveals the secret of the place and also of the mysterious coup;e.

What happens next? If you want to know, you will have to watch the thrilling film!

Recently, the trailer of Saif Ali Khan and Tabu starrer “Jawaani Jaaneman” was launched and it was loved by viewers. Saif Ali Khan plays the role of a middle-aged playboy who doesn’t want to settle down by getting married but one day a girl comes in his life who is his daughter.

The role of the daughter is being played by Alaya F and the role of the mother is played by Tabu. When Saif and Tabu met, they were not able to stand each other and during their conversation, Saif asks Tabu why she didn’t inform him in the last 21 years that he has a daughter. He said that she could have made a call and in reply, Tabu said, “I hate phone calls”.

The scene in which Tabu is delivering this dialogue is now converted into a meme by the Pune Police as they used it to make people aware that they should not talk on phone while driving.
