The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is getting ready for its next mission Gaganyaan which is related to sending 3 astronauts in the space for a period of 7 days.
Food in undoubtedly one of the important concerns of this mission as the astronauts will need to satiate their hunger even in the space and for this purpose, Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), Mysore, which comes under the wings of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed a menu of food items which the astronauts can enjoy during their stay in space.
The menu includes veg roll, veg pulao, egg roll, upma, idli and sambhar and the laboratory will also be providing for food heaters, cutlery and disposable bags along with special anti-gravity liquid containers which will enable the astronauts to drink water and juices.
Twitterati got into action after seeing such menu and started having fun by means of hilarious tweets. However, there was a user who wanted to know from the food delivery app Swiggy whether they are going to deliver over there and we have to admit that the response given by Swiggy was quite classy.
The user tweeted, “@SwiggyCares will you deliver it there?”
In response, Swiggy posted a GIF of a rocket with the caption that read, “We have already started…”.

2019 can be called a good year for India as far as the space is concerned as the Chandrayaan 2 mission of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) got completed. Now the India’s space agency is focusing on its next mission Gaganyaan in which 3 astronauts will be sent to the space for a week.
It is definitely going to be one of the toughest missions as a lot of planning, hard work, training and proper execution are needed in it. Any mission which is a human spaceflight program has to take care of all the concerns related to human safety and all the technological aspects also need to be taken care of.

Food is one of those concerns and Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), Mysore, has come up with the list of food items which can be enjoyed by the astronauts when in the space. The research laboratory which comes under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has made a menu that includes idli sambhar, moong ki dal ka halwa, upma, egg roll, veg pulao and veg roll.
During the interview to a leading daily, Anil Semwal, the director of DFRL, said that now it is upto the astronauts to select the dishes so that his team can do the needed modifications. The lab is also assigned with the task of providing food heaters, cutlery and disposal bags. In order to enable the astronauts drink liquids such as water and juices, gravity-defying special containers are being developed.

The young Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya started the year 2020 with a bang as he got engaged to Bollywood actress and dancer Natasa Stankovic on the very first day of the year, i.e., 1st January. The lovebirds got engaged on a speedboat in Dubai and as Hardik shared this wonderful news on Instagram, his fans and teammates started congratulating him and his fiance.
There was a time when Hardik Pandya was facing a lot of hate and was in a state of shock and disbelief. If you remember, he attended Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan with his teammate KL Rahul and it turned out to be a nightmare for both the cricketers.
Hardik was slammed for the derogatory remarks that he made against women and the two players were suspended by BCCI. What’s more, an explanation was sought by them for such an irresponsible behaviour.

Virat Kohli, the skipper of the Indian cricket team, is quite an aggressive player but he also has one talent which is not known to many people. He is pretty good in copying or imitating other people as recently, he imitated the bowling style of Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh and also showed how Bhajji reacts when he doesn’t get a wicket.
It happened during the practice sessions before the second T20I of the series which was played between India and Sri Lanka in Indore and was won by India comfortably.
Irfan Pathan, Yuzvendra Chahal and Harbhajan were also present at the moment when Virat copied the Indian spinner. Bhajji who is also known as Turbunator took it in a good spirit and also praised Kohli for getting perfect reaction which he gives in disappointment when he doesn’t get the wicket.

Harbhajan is presently out of the squad but he is one of the best spinners that India has ever produced. It was 2017 when he played for the country but he is still very active in the Indian Premier League and domestic cricket.
