The young Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya surprised many opponent bowlers with his talent of hitting ball and playing big shots but this time, the player has left his parents in a state of shock and astonishment.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you must be knowing that Hardik Pandya announced his engagement with his girlfriend Natasa Stankovic on 1^st January, 2020, through his Instagram account.

It was quite a surprise for his fans and teammates but what will you say if we tell you that even Hardik’s parents didn’t had a clue that their son was going to get engaged that day.

The engagement took place on a speedboat in Dubai and it was presumed that family members and close friends must have attended it but Hardik’s parents were in India at that time and they came to know about the engagement only after it happened.

In an interview to a leading daily, Hardik’s father said that they met Natasa many times in Mumbai and they were also aware of the fact that the couple was going on vacation in Dubai but they had no idea that they would get engaged over there. It was a total surprise for them.

Hardik might have kept his parents in dark but he had invited one of his close friends who was not able to attend because of some urgent work. The close friend also revealed that he was given the invitation a week back, adding that the couple is in no hurry to get married so we may need to wait for the marriage till the end of 2020 or may be the next year.

There is no denying the fact that food delivering apps, such as Swiggy and Zomato have made our lives pretty easy and comfortable as we can now order food from the restaurant of our choice just by using our smartphone, sitting at our home. However, some customers are facing frustrating situations as well because of these apps.

Recently, an 11 years old kid from Noida ordered a Black Forest Cake on the New Year’s Eve through Swiggy but when she and her family were waiting for the cake, they got a call from the Swiggy executive informing that there is no such shop visible at the location.

A senior executive also talked to them and told that some more riders also tried to find that shop but they failed so they should cancel the order. There has been an increase in such cases as some time back the same people had to cancel their dinner order because the restaurant was closed.

We all know what would have happened after that, the customer care executive would have offered deepest apologies and promised a better experience next time.

The question is when the restaurant and food outlets are getting closed, then why they are not removed from the food app. This is definitely offering a bad experience to customers and it is not good for the business.

It is not just that it is happening with Swiggy consumers, Zomato customers are also facing such situation. Recently, a couple decided to have meals in a restaurant which they chose after surfing Zomato but when they reached there, the restaurant was not operational.

These food apps should work on their coordination with the restaurants and they should request them of informing if they plan to close temporarily or permanently, so that they can also make changes on the app.

With this movie, Deepika has also debuted in the industry as a producer. However during an event, a journo made a statement that Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh is also a producer of the movie and it is just like “ghar ka paisa laga hua hai” after their marriage.

The Mastani of Bollywood was quick to clarify things, she interrupted the reporter and said that it is her money which is being invested and not Ranveer’s. She said, “Excuse me, ye kisne bola, ye mere khud ke paise hain”.

However, some people were not happy with the fact that Mohena was wearing a long veil during the marriage ceremony. They slammed the actress for following such traditions which show woman as weaker despite being educated.

One user asked her, “Why is your face under veil?”

And to this, another social media user replied, “Because these are people who follow their so called male dominated rituals. Even education doesn’t get them a brain.”

Mohena was in no mood to take the troll lightly and she gave a perfect reply to those who have a problem with old traditions of Hindus.

She says that wearing veil is something which is done in Islam and Christianity as well at the time of wedding. She further writes that the bride wears a long veil because it is a tradition of Rajputs and she did it because she wanted to and not because anyone forced her for it.

Her comment read, “Even Christians have a veil when they marry…. and so Muslims…. I guess they are all uneducated too! It’s an age old Rajput tradition which Rajput women follow when they get married. This was not forced upon me…. I chose to do it.”

Her second comment read, “This person called people who follow a Rajput tradition of wearing veil, uneducated…. so I said that just Rajput’s, Christians and Muslims also wear veils…. so why are they calling us Rajput’s uneducated just because we like to follow a few things that are part of our culture.”

Later on, her husband Suyesh Rawat also slammed the trollers and asked them to get a life.
