Ravi Shastri, the former Indian cricketer and present head coach of the Indian cricket team, is a pretty happy man nowadays as team India performed superbly against West Indies recently. The team has been doing well under his guidance and the able leadership of Virat Kohli as well as the recent series of West Indies give him a good reason to celebrate the New Year’s Eve in style.

Recently, Ravi Shastri took to Instagram and posted a photo in which he posed with the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, beautiful actress Raveena Tandon and industrialist Gautam Singhania. The caption that he wrote read, “Alibag is heaven. Great conversations with some brilliant minds of our times – @iamsrk @officialraveenatandon and @gautamsinghania99 #Blessed #FriendsLikeFamily 🙏”

As the photo went viral, various users as well as former cricketers started commenting including the former English cricketer Michael Vaughan.

Michael Vaughan wrote “Happy New Year Ravi” as the year is almost ending and 2020 will be knocking on our doors within few hours.

Just to inform, this is Shastri’s second term as the Indian head coach; he took the job in 2017 after the controversial exit of former coach Anil Kumble. However, there have been times when Twitterati has trolled Ravi Shastri for his acts, especially for his drinking habit.

He was also in news for his relations with the new President of BCCI, Sourav Ganguly but Ravi ended them by saying that he has a lot of respect for Ganguly as he was the one who brought team India out of the critical phase and turned it into a match-winning team.

Flop Bollywood Movies That Released In 2019 & You Must Not Have Even Heard Their Names

Bollywood is one of the biggest movie industries of the world as almost 200 movies are released every year. However, only few films out of these 200 odd flicks got the attention of the public while majority of them went unnoticed.

The movies of A-list stars get more coverage than the films which feature some new or unknown actors and which are directed by new directors. In fact, nobody knows when these movies got released and who acted in them. While some movies in Bollywood earn crores and may cross the marks of 100 or 200 crores, there are many which don’t even remain in halls for a week.

Mostly these films are said to be B-grade movies and nobody, even the makers, understand the purpose of making these films. Here in this article, we will take a recap of such movies that were made in 2019. Our emphasis will be on the films that have weird titles. Check out the list:

1. Mudda 370 J&K

The title itself is a warning to the audiences, so it is better for everyone to maintain distance.

4. Marrne Bhi Do Yaaron

Well, viewers granted the wish of the makers and this Krushna Abhishek starrer passed away without anyone knowing.

5. V for Victor

After a superb movie “Mukkabaaz”, there were really very less chances of this film being watched by audiences.

6. Tony

The poster is so horrifying, who will watch the movie? It was a psychological thriller written by the writers of Akshay Kumar starrer “Rustom” but still people were not interested.

7. Unfriends

It is a horror movie which was unbearable for the audiences and they decided to unfriend it.

8. Phati Padi Hai Yaar

Who can think of this phrase as the title of a movie?

9. Chintu ka Birthday

Nobody was in mood of celebrating Chintu’s birthday.

10. Bagpat Ka Dulha

This groom went alone for his marriage as no audience was seen in the theatre.

Sourav Ganguly Tweeted “Hate Working On A Sunday”, Got Funny Responses From Fans

There is no denying the fact that almost all of us hate to work on Sundays and the same is the case with the former Indian cricketer and present BCCI President Sourav Ganguly.

The former skipper has been involved in taking some innovative steps such as organising the Day and Night Test match. The test match between India and Bangladesh which was played at Kolkata went wonderfully and the board has already chosen some other venues for the Day and Night test matches which are played with pink ball.

Sourav has also put forth his idea of organising Super series in which four top playing nations- India, Australia, England and one more team can take part. While this idea has been liked by some as it will help in improving the game among the top four cricketing nations, it sounded partial and discriminatory to several too in view of the fact that other nations won’t be a part of it.

Recently, Sourav Ganguly posted a tweet in which he is seen standing in a park dressed in casuals and the caption that he wrote was, “Hate working on a Sunday”.

From Pandya To Dhawan, Cricketers Reacted On KL Rahul’s Pic With Athiya Shetty

KL Rahul, the young Indian cricketer, must be quite happy as he is back in form and has been selected for the Sri Lankan series as well. Some time back, he was out of form and some of his haters went on to say that he is in the team just because of his friendship with Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

However, things have changed now and when he got the chance to open the batting with Rohit Sharma because of Shikhar Dhawan’s injury, Rahul left no stone unturned in using the opportunity to his advantage and played brilliantly as an opener.

Now Shikhar Dhawan is back in the team but Rohit Sharma is taking a break and it will be KL Rahul and Dhawan who will open the batting against Sri Lanka in the T20I series which will start on 5th January. The first match will be played at Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati.

KL Rahul is pretty active on social media, especially on Instagram, and recently he posted a photo in which he is seen with actress Athiya Shetty. In the photo, Rahul is seen holding an old fashioned phone while Athiya is laughing. The caption that Rahul wrote was, “Hello, Devi Prasad….?” which is a famous dialogue from the movie “Hera Pheri”. Suniel Shetty, Athiya’s father, played an important role in the flick along with Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar.

His caption has invited many funny comments, such as Mayank Agarwal said, “Rakh! Phone Rakh!! #Babubhaiya”, the same dialogue which was spoken by Paresh Rawal who played the character of Babu Bhaiya. Shikhar Dhawan also liked the post and wrote, “Good one bro”.

Hanuma Vihari Reacts On Being Remained Unsold In The IPL Auction 2020

The auctions for the IPL 2020 have taken place and while some cricketers have been bought for exorbitant prices, several talented players have remained unsold in the auction.

Indian cricketer Hanuma Vihari (26) is also one of those cricketers who have not been purchased by any franchise in this IPL auction but the young player is not disheartened as he is focusing on the New Zealand tour. Hanuma’s base price was Rs. 50 lakhs but as the luck would have it, he remained unsold.

When Hanuma was asked about it, he clearly said that he is not demoralised as it was not in his control but he doesn’t want to waste his time thinking about it or talking about it. He further says that he has been playing well in the shorter formats of the game for his state team Andhra Pradesh so if he will get a chance to play for the country, he will definitely play well in the national team as well.

Hanuma has made his test debut in 2018 against England and since then, he has been developing as one of the main batsmen of the Indian team. He has played 7 test matches for the country in which he has scored one century and three half-centuries. He has scored total 466 runs and his average is 42.36. Hopefully he will be making his debut in the shorter formats soon.

Hanuma is more focusing on the New Zealand tour as India is set to play a test series over there and this series will be pretty important as then there will be a long gap before India will play against Australia. Hanuma is also excited to lead India A which will play two games in New Zealand after the test series.

What makes Hanuma the best choice for the captain of India A is the fact that last year only, he played over there under the leadership of Ajinkya Rahane.

Sanjay Manjrekar’s Reaction On His 8 Years Old Tweet About Kohli Is Unmissable

Virat Kohli, the skipper of team India, may be the number one batsman in ODIs and Test matches in the present scenario and his fans may be calling him GOAT (Greatest Of All Times) but there was a time when he struggled a lot in the longer format of the game. At that time, the cricket experts, media and cricket fans were of the opinion that Virat does not belong to be there in the tests but it was the Indian skipper of that time, MS Dhoni who showed his faith in Kohli and gave him an extra chance.

On his first tour to Australia, the scores (11, 0, 23 and 9) of Kohli in the first two test matches sum up his performance. Nobody wanted him in the team except Dhoni and former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar.

Kohli justified Dhoni’s faith in him by scoring 44 and 75 in the third test and he kept the best for the last as he scored a brilliant century in the fourth test. Good Newwz Day 2 Collections Out. The Movie All Set To Cross 50 Crore Mark On First Weekend

Akshay Kumar must be a pretty happy man as his latest release “Good Newwz” is going pretty strong on the box-office and with this movie, he is associated not just as an actor but as one of the producers as well. The flick also stars two beautiful babes of Bollywood – Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani and famous Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh who has impressed us earlier as well with his acting in the film “Udta Punjab”.

Talking about “Good Newwz”, the movie got a solid start as it collected Rs 17.56 crore on its opening day ad as expected, it gained momentum on the second day (Saturday) and earned a good amount of Rs 21.78 crore which brings its total collections to Rs 39.34 crore.
