The Indian Citizen Amendment Bill (CAB) 2019 has been in headlines for past one week and social media too is flooded with posts in this regard. While many chose to keep a mum on the matter, few netizens are not leaving a chance to spread filth on social media and targeting celebrities.
A Twitter user recently made a tweet and asked Bollywood actor and director Farhan Akhtar to tell his ‘qaum’ not to destroy India’s property.
The tweet was undoubtedly made in a bad taste and it didn’t go well with the “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” star who gave a kickass reply by writing that he would request David Dhawan for casting the user in “Bigot No. 1” because that person is just perfect for the role.
Farhan Akhtar’s tweet read, “Going to request David Dhawan to cast you in ‘Bigot no 1.’ .. you are perfect for the part.”

CAB is now a law as both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have passed it. A majority of the countrymen welcomed it but several sections of the society began to protest after the Lok Sabha passed the bill. CAB has been referred to as anti-Muslim since merely non-Muslim communities- Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist and Parsi migrants who are facing issues in three neighbouring nations – Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh will be granted citizenship of India. For becoming an Indian citizen, the duration which an individual is required to spend in the country is reduced to 5 years from 11 years as well.
Farhan Akhtar’s last movie was “The Sky Is Pink” in which he shared the screen with Bollywood’s Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra. For some time now, the actor has been making headlines for his relationship with Shibani Dandekar and the duo often make public appearances together.
We all know how annoying the wrong numbers are! Most of the time, there is just a random stranger trying to contact someone but accidentally connects with you and there begins a rise of a socially awkward situation.
But are there other possibilities, too? Let’s take Khushi, as an instance. Her long-gone ex-boyfriend does not talk to her anymore. She cannot see his WhatsApp DP and her messages do not deliver to him as there is no sight of double ticks.
Every night, she would come home, text his ex-boyfriend Rajat and tell him all about her day, look at the single ticks as if they would turn into double ones, get disappointed and doze off. Her roommate keeps telling her to stop with this depressing routine and sleep on time. But Khushi? She is so faithful.
One fine day, she randomly checks her phone and the messages are delivered! She checks it again and obviously could not believe her eyes. As soon as she could digest the fact, her phone beeps and there is a message from Rajat that says, “Hey Khushi!”
What would happen next? Has Rajat decided to come back in her life? Or life is just playing with her? Open a Free Demat account and get benefits worth Rs 28,000. Join Upstox now
Tiger Shroff is one of the most sought Bollywood actors of the present time and he has a huge fan following. Kids and youngsters are especially his big admirers and all the credit goes to the actor’s amazing action sequences and wonderful dancing skills.
Recently the “Baaghi” star stumbled upon a video of his little fan on the micro-blogging site Twitter and it was so sweet that he couldn’t stop himself from sharing it. The fan is a 5 years old girl named Heeva from United States and she is seen singing the song “Jai Jai Shiv Shankar” from Tiger’s movie “War”. In the meantime, she also expresses her love for her favourite star and asks him to come to meet her soon.
The video was captured by Heeva’s mother and she shared it on Twitter with caption, “@iTIGERSHROFF Your biggest fan.. lol.. she is my daughter Heeva.. She is 5 years old and we live in United States… She loves u”
From the debut movie “Heropanti” itself, Tiger has made a place for himself in the industry. The flick was liked by audiences and there had been no stopping for him after its release. His last released “War” in which he shared the screen with Hrithik Roshan performed superbly and received good reviews from the fans and critics alike.
Presently Tiger Shroff is busy with the shooting of “Baaghi 3” which also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Shraddha Kapoor and Ankita Lokhande. The previous two installments of the “Baaghi” series were super-hit and movie buffs have a lot of expectations from the third franchise as well.
The Indian Citizen Amendment Bill (CAB) 2019 has become a law after it was passed by both the assemblies of the country – Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. While the majority of the countrymen have welcomed the development or have decided to not give any reaction, there were some sections of the society which started protesting just after the bill was passed in the Lok Sabha.
The bill has been touted as anti-Muslim as only non-Muslim communities- Hindu, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jains and Parsis migrants who are facing problems in three neighboring countries – Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will be granted citizenship of the country. The time period that a person needs to spend in India in order to become citizen of India has also been reduced to five years from eleven years.
Critics are slamming the bill for excluding the Muslim community as they are claiming that there are many Muslim communities which are getting persecuted in their own country. However, Home Minister Amit Shah out rightly rejected their demand saying that the Muslims are in majority in these countries so they don’t need to be included in the bill.
The International media and other organisations were also keeping a close eye on the developments taking place in this regard and most of them are of the opinion that it is a step towards making India a Hindu country which is ultimately what PM Modi and his government want.
This is how International media and organisations reacted on Citizen Amendment Bill (CAB):

"We are concerned that India’s new Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 is fundamentally discriminatory in nature. We hope the Supreme Court of #India will consider carefully the compatibility of the law with India’s international human rights obligations." — @UNHumanRightspic.twitter.com/ThizC1rWDf
The duo of PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah has taken some bold decisions in the recent past and there is no sign of the Modi government bowing down in front of the protestors.

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is certainly on cloud nine after the huge success of her last movie “Kabir Singh” in which she was casted opposite Shahid Kapoor.
One of the highest grossers of the year 2019, the flick earned Rs. 276 crore worldwide. While “Kabir Singh” was loved by the majority of audiences, there were some people who slammed the film and the character of Kabir Singh played by Shahid Kapoor for its violent behaviour towards women.
When Kiara was asked about the controversies created by the movie, she said that playing the character of Preeti was very challenging for her and there were some scenes which must have disturbed viewers but those scenes were included in the flick to make audiences uncomfortable because Kabir Singh is a problematic character and not a hero.
As per her, she also had problems in doing some sequences but she can’t judge the character that she is playing. In the end, she said that people should think of Kabir Singh as a fictional character and nobody is asking them to follow him as she has also moved on from her last movie.
Kiara’s happiness has increased to a great extent for the fact that her upcoming movie “Good Newwz” is also getting rave reviews after its trailer launch and is expected to fare well on the box-office. Apart from Kiara Advani, “Good Newwz” also stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles.

Pakistan used to be a great force to reckon with in the field of cricket but for past many years, no cricketing nation has sent their team for playing any cricketing series due to security reasons. Luckily for the Pakistani cricket, the Sri Lankan team has visited them for playing two Test match series, the first test match is already being played in Rawalpindi while the second one will be played in Lahore. In the ongoing test match, the visitors were 263/6 at the end of the second day with Dhananjaya de Silva not out at 72.
Niroshan Dickwella, the Sri Lankan cricketer, attended the press conference where he was confused for Dhananjaya de Silva by two Pakistani reporters. Just to inform, Niroshan Dickwella got dismissed for 33 for which he played 63 deliveries.
When the Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batsman was confused for his teammate by the reporter, Niroshan Dickwella very patiently told him that he is Dickwella and not de Silva. However when it happened for the second time, he gave an epic reply.
The reporter asked Dickwella whether he is looking for 100 on this pitch, in response Dickwella said smilingly that he is Dickwella and not de Silva and he is already out, sitting in the pavilion, but yes he will definitely try for a 100 in the second innings.
