British Brand Selling Indian Kurtis As “Boho Dress”, Desi Twitter Is Not At All Impressed
Trends… We all have seen them come and go, change with times. We all have been a part of different trends over the years. A little twist to a traditional dress and it becomes a new fashion and we all love it. Mixing things up a little and crisscrossing Indian and foreign is another nice twist to fashion. But what happens when we try to copy others? We look like a fool. Yes.
While Indians are trying to get into foreign countries’ fashion, there is a British brand who copied our ethenic dress in the most hideous way. The brand is selling our Desi Kurti with videshi twist and it is totally inappropriate.
British clothing company Thrifted.com is selling Indian salwar kameez as ‘vintage Boho dresses’ for $36.19 (₹2,567 approx.) and above. As per reports, the company started as University sideline business and it is the top ASOS seller and operates worldwide.

However, twitter is not impressed by this and wondering what happened to our salwar kameez.

First Day Collection: Dream Girl Slightly Ahead In The Race, Section 375 Lags Behind
Two brilliant Hindi movies opened their doors for the audience this week, before Friday. Both the films are from two extremely different one is going to make you laugh and another will make you question being on the edge of the seat.
Talking about Dream Girl, the rom-com is helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa starring Ayushmann Khurana, Nusrat Bharucha, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz, and Arbaaz Khan. The story of the film is about a middle-class boy who can speak in the voice of a girl also. He dresses up as Sita in every play during Ram Navami. His life changes when he gets a job of a call girl and becomes Pooja for many people.
In terms of earning, the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer turned out to be the highest opener till date for Khurrana. It surpassed the first-day collection of 2018 blockbuster film Badhaai Ho, which also starrer Ayushmann. The film earned ₹10.05 crores on its opening day and it is a great start.
#DreamGirl takes a heroic start… Emerges #AyushmannKhurrana’s biggest opener to date… Has also opened bigger than several mid-range films [2019] like #Uri [₹ 8.20 cr], #LukaChuppi [₹ 8.01 cr] and #Chhichhore [₹ 7.32 cr]… Fri ₹ 10.05 cr. #India biz.
— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) September 14, 2019
Ayushmann Khurrana versus Ayushmann Khurrana… *Day 1* biz…
2019: #DreamGirl ₹ 10.05 cr
2018: #BadhaaiHo ₹ 7.35 cr [Thu; #Dussehra]
2019: #Article15 ₹ 5.02 cr
2017: #ShubhMangalSaavdhan ₹ 2.71 cr
2018: #AndhaDhun ₹ 2.70 cr
2017: #BareillyKiBarfi ₹ 2.42 cr#India biz.— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) September 14, 2019
On the other hand, Section 375 is based on a story of director Rohan Khurrana, who was accused by his female crew member of assaulting her at his residence. Section 375 Marzi Ya Zabardasti is produced by SCIPL and Panorama Studios, starring Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha as lawyers.
While Section 375 is also a content-driven film, its Box Office collection slightly lags behind Dream Girl. Though it garnered appreciation from the audience and the critic, it failed to draw masses to the theatres. section 375 earned around ₹3.5 crores on its very first day. But it might see growth over the weekend.

These Bollywood Movies Made Us Fall In Love With The Beautiful Switzerland
Bollywood plays a vital role for my love towards mountains covered with snow. Every girl still wish to wear a chiffon saree in the mountain tops and dance like no one’s watching. There was a time when Bollywood movies had at least one song shot in Switzerland no wonder why Bollywood is the second largest film industry.
The first movie to have been shot in Switzerland is 64’s classic Sangam starring the legendary Raj Kapoor. A few years later, another movie was shot in Switzerland is Dev Anand’s A Evening in Paris though the movie solely focuses on Paris, but a famous song and a few scenes were shot there.
Many directors used the beauty of Switzerland in their movie,s but no one could do it better than the renowned director Yash Raj Chopra, he fell in love with the place back in 1970 and since then he has shot several songs, movies in there.
Yash Raj Chopra captured each part of Switzerland with his vision. How can one forget the iconic movie DDLJ and the song zara sa jhoom lo mein. Since then Switzerland became a part of Bollywood.
Here is the list of 10 movies which were shot in Switzerland:
1. Sangam
2. An Evening In Paris
3. Hum Aapke Dil Mein Hain
4. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge
5. Kaho Naa Pyaar Hain
6. Biwi No. 1
7. Deewana Mastana
8. Don 2
9. Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge
10. Yes Boss
Bollywood songs shot in Switzerland made us fall in love with the beauty of the Swiss.

Delhi’s Odd-Even Rule Is Back And Delhites Are Not Very Happy About It
The infamous odd-even rule in Delhi is back. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that the rule will be back soon to avoid traffic and lower down the population level. While Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is urging to buy vehicles so that automobile industry can breathe again, Delhi CM won’t allow all the vehicles at once on the road. Seems like state and central government are on different pages.
Kejriwal said that studies prove that the odd-even formula helps reduce pollution levels. He announced that 4-15 November odd-even to be applied. And as odd and even is an emergency measure it cannot be implemented for too long.
Kejriwal has a strong case in favor of the odd-even formula but Delhiites are not very happy about it. With Diwali coming soon, the risk of air pollution is increasing and odd-even rule during that time will help check it at some level.
See how Twitter reacted to Arvind Kejriwal’s latest announcement.
