Finally Mohd. Shami Has Got A Big Relief In Hasin Jahan Legal Controversy

The Indian pacer Mohammed Shami must have taken a sigh of relief after his lawyer Salim Rahaman got an interim stay on his arrest warrant. The lawyer told TOI that the interim stay has been ordered by Rai Chattopadhyay, the district judge of Alipore court and it is for around a couple of months.

Last week an arrest warrant was issued against Mohammed Shami and he was ordered to surrender within 15 days and appear before the Kolkata Court. Shami has been booked by the West Bengal police after his separated wife Hasin Jahan accused him of many crimes which also include s*xual harassment. Shami was on the West Indian tour with team India when the arrest warrant was issued against him.

The legal fight between Mohammed Shami and Hasin Jahan started in March 2018 and there are no chances of it ending any sooner. The maximum punishment that Shami can get in this case is three years of imprisonment.

When the matter surfaced at that time, questions were raised on his place in the team and even on his participation in IPL but fortunately for him, he not only played in IPL but also for the national team.

Hasin Jahan is leaving no stone unturned in making sure that Shami goes behind the bars as she has met the West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly in this regard. Recently, she also said that if powerful people like Asaram Bapu and Ram Rahim can be sent to jail, how Shami will save himself from the law.

Pak Minister Fawad Hussain Targets India After 10 Sri Lankan Cricketers Opt Out Of Pakistan Tour

There are not many countries in the world which will like to send their cricket teams to Pakistan because security has been one of the biggest concerns after the horrific Gaddafi stadium incident which took place in 2009.

The Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) is working pretty hard for organising cricket series in Pakistan but every time they face problems due to security concerns. Recently, 10 Sri Lankan cricketers opted out from the proposed Pakistani tour; the majority of them were part of the team when some anti-social elements opened fire on the bus of Sri Lankan players in 2009. The incident took place outside the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, in which six Sri Lankan cricketers got wounded.

As these news got confirmed, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology of Pakistan, Ch. Fawad Hussain took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to blame Indian sports authorities for hampering the Sri Lankan tour. Fawad says that he has been informed by the cricket commentators that Indian sports authorities have blackmailed the Sri Lankan cricketers that either they should back out from the tour or it will have an adverse effect on their IPL contracts.

He wrote,

“Informed sports commentators told me that India threatened SL players that they ll be ousted from IPL if they don’t refuse Pak visit, this is really cheap tactic, jingoism from sports to space is something we must condemn, really cheap on the part of Indian sports authorities.”

The players are not ready despite the fact they are told they will get the President level security. The Sri Lankan team was supposed to play 3 ODIs and the same number of T20I in Lahore and Karachi from Sep 27-Oct 9.

Fawad called it jingoism and slammed the Indian sports authorities. Recently, he made fun of India’s Chandrayaan 2 mission when due to a last minute snag, ISRO lost communication with the Chandrayaan2.

The relations between India and Pakistan are very tense nowadays especially after India abolished Article 370 from the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

ICC Trolled England Fans Who Mocked Steve Smith During Ashes 2019

The Ashes 2019 os going on between Australia and England. Whenever Australia batsman Steve Smith came on the field England cricket fans macked him either by booing or wearing a mask which had a crying face of Smith.

On the other hand, Smith didn’t pay heed to this mocking and continued to play well and help win hi steam with 2-1. He was the Man of the Match in the Manchester Test, with 211 and 82 runs in the matches.

After England fans mocked the player on the field ICC decided to teach them a lesson about Karma and init tweet trolled them brutally. It tweeted, “Definition of karma
often capitalized: the force generated by a person’s actions held in Hinduism and Buddhism to perpetuate transmigration and in its ethical consequences to determine the nature of the person’s next existence.”

ICC’s tweet initiated laughter and people hailed it for its sense of humor. While others asked if the Twitter handle has been hacked by some other funny human being.

Here’s How Flipkart Got Its First Customer Right After Its Startup

This is the story of the online shopping website Flipkart’s first customer. It was late October 2007 when a man from Mahabubnagar V V K Chandra ordered a book from the peculiar-looking website. Chandra was a freelance web consultant and loved to read. That’s when he got a craving for John Wood’s memoir Leaving Microsoft to Change The World.

He tried to find it from the offline stores in Hyderabad but it was not available anywhere. He had the habit of blogging about technology and the internet. Under one of his post, a user replied with the link of the website- www.flipkart.com

The reply caught is attention instantly and he clicked on it. There Chandra found out that the website sells books and port them all over the country. It was first of its kind site and Chandra hadn’t seen anything like this before.

So Chandra decided to give it a try. And seeing the book he needed in stock he ordered it paying ₹500. It was not a big deal for him and he was ready is this money is lost, but he had faith.

He had to wait for a long time as the book was actually not available with the totally unrelated co-founders Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal also. They went to a great length to get this book and finally found it somewhere in Bangalore.
