The Internet sensation Ranu Mondal has recorded the third song for Himesh Reshammiya’s movie “Happy Hardy and Heer”. Ranu became famous after a video featuring her got viral on social media; in the video, she was seen singing Lata Mangeshkar’s popular song “Ek pyaar ka nagma hai”.

Ranu used to sing at Ranaghat Railway station for livelihood when she was discovered by Atindra Chakraborty who posted her video on the social media networks.

After Ranu attained fame, some reports started doing rounds according to which her daughter Elizabeth Sathi Roy has reunited with her. People slammed the daughter for leaving her mother when she needed her the most. However, Sathi said that she had never deserted her mother and they both were always in touch. Sathi says that she is a divorced woman who also has to take care of her son; she runs a small grocery shop in Suri and has her own limitations.

Talking about Ranu’s singing skills, she said that she had no idea that her mother is singing at the railway station because they meet very less. However, Sathi talked about a two months old incident when she visited Dharmatala and saw Ranu sitting aimlessly on the bus stand. Sathi told that she gave her mother Rs. 200 and asked her to go back home. Sathi further added that she asked her mother to stay with her but Ranu didn’t agree. She also expressed her unhappiness over the fact that people are slamming her without knowing the truth.

What may surprise everyone is that Sathi claims that Ranu is mentally imbalanced and the media is further troubling her. She has also alleged that the members of Ranaghat’s Amra Shobai Shoitaan club are not letting her talk to her mother. Sathi claimed that they are brainwashing Ranu against her and even went on to say that the club members threatened her that if she tried to meet her mother, they would break her legs. She further added that sometimes she felt as if Atindra and Tapan Das are two sons of her mother.

Sathi said that she doesn’t want to take any big step because it may affect her mother’s singing career but if her mother wants, she can come and stay with her or if she wants, Sathi will go to Mumbai with her son and stay with Ranu.

Gradually she became so famous that she has attended an episode of a singing reality show and has also recorded three songs for Himesh Reshammiya’s movie.

When Lata Mangeshkar was told about Ranu Mondal, the former says that she is happy if someone gets benefited because of her name and work.

However at the same time, she expresses her sense of fear and says that so many new singers sing so beautifully but after tasting success for the first time, they just disappear as she only remembers Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal and has no idea where other talented singers are now.

She says that the aspiring singers can get only short-term success by singing her songs or songs of other old singers such as Mohd. Rafi, Mukesh, Kishore Kumar or Asha Bhosle. She has advised new singers to sing their songs for some time but also try to find their own song.

She also gave the example of her sister Asha Bhosle and said that she decided to make her own identity by singing in her own style. Lata Mangeshkar further said that Asha wouldn’t have been so successful if she did not go out of her shadow.

Some rumours were also doing rounds with regard to Ranu Mondal, such as she has been gifted a Rs 50 lakh flat by Bollywood actor Salman Khan. However a little later, not only Ranu but Salman also made it clear that this rumour is absolutely baseless. It was also said that Salman has offered her a song in “Dabangg 3” but it also turned out to be fake.

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known for taking daring decisions and abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir was one such historic move. The Modi government faced protests not only from some Indian political parties and their leaders but also from its neighboring country. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan and his ministers tried their level best to raise this issue on the International platforms but nobody other than China supported them on this matter. PM Imran Khan is getting heavily slammed by his countrymen, politicians and now his former wife Reham Khan has also criticised him for not handling the issue in a proper manner.

In a video posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter, Reham says that PM Imran Khan has failed badly in handling International diplomacies in comparison to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She also says that the manner in which the TV channels are portraying the whole issue is also not good as they are saying that PM Modi has thrown a wonderful googly. She also expresses her sense of surprise over the Pakistani government’s statement of having no idea that India is going to make such a bold move.

She goes on to slam the Pak politicians for showing false dreams to the public for the last 72 years. Reham says that for the last 72 years, they are taught to love Kashmir, they are made to believe that one day, the entire Kashmir will be theirs but now they have understood that these politicians were doing this just to save their chairs.

Reham is quite amused by the fact that Imran and his ministry had no idea that the Indian government would abolish Article 370. She asks as to why he didn’t read the manifesto of Bharatiya Janta Party which they released before the 2019 elections. Besides, Reham also feels that Imran hasn’t taken any concrete action to counter India’s move.

The television version of ZERO is crispier, short and they have also revealed a bit more about the Mars mission so that the audience can relate to SRK’s journey from Meerut to Mars which lacked in the theatrical release.
