Ambati Rayudu Got Trolled For Taking U-Turn On Retirement. Twitter Called Him India’s Shahid Afridi

The Indian player Ambati Rayudu was expecting a place in the Indian cricket squad for the World Cup 2019 but it didn’t happen and he was left disheartened. However, he still had chances as he was kept in the back-up and would have gone to play if anyone from the team got injured.

When the chief selector MSK Prasad was asked as to why Vijay Shankar was chosen above Rayudu, he said that Shankar has a three-dimensional approach. Ambati Rayudu chose to make fun of selectors rather than being silent on the matter and he tweeted that he had ordered 3D glasses for watching the World Cup matches.

When Shikhar Dhawan was ruled out of the World Cup campaign due to injury, Rishabh Pant was sent as a replacement. But things became unbearable for Rayudu when Mayank Agarwal was chosen to leave for England after Vijay Shankar got hit on his toe by Jasprit Bumrah. Rayudu was expecting that he would be asked to join the Indian team but it didn’t happen and he got so frustrated that he announced retirement from the international cricket.

His fans and friends were not quite happy with this decision as they knew that it was being taken in a moment of haste. However, there is good news for the fans of Ambati Rayudu! Yes, you guessed it right! The batsman from Hyderabad is returning to the ground as he has decided to come out of retirement.

He has written an email to Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) citing that he has made up mind of revoking his retirement and he will be available to play for Hyderabad. He thanked VVS Laxman, Noel David and Chennai Super Kings for making him realise that he still has a lot of cricket left in him.

As we know that Twitter doesn’t spare anyone, the users made the most of this opportunity and trolled Ambati Rayudu by calling him India’s Shahid Afridi who chooses to go into hibernation mode for some time and then makes a comeback.

Anushka Sharma Visits High Commissioner’s Residence But Nowhere To Be Seen In The Group Photo

The Indian cricket team is right now high on spirits after winning the first test against west indies. The team is ready for the second and final test which will start on Friday in Jamaica. Before the test match, the team visited Indian High Commissioner M Sevala Naik’s residence in Jamaica and had a great time at the dinner.

Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma also accompanied the team to the Commissioner’s house and involved in meeting and greeting the guests and host. The photos from the dinner party were uploaded on the internet and went viral soon.

Anushka is also seen in a happy spirit with the players and the High Commissioner in the pictures.

But when it came to taking a group photo, Sharma stepped aside to avoid any controversy. Last year England tour, Indian cricket team visited Indian High Commission in London and the actress was also with them.

When they clicked a group photo, Anushka stood right beside Virat in the front row and the vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane had to stand behind for where he was not properly visible. The internet slammed Anushka for that photo and it even created controversy.

This time she played it safe and skipped the group photograph session.

World’s Safest Cities Index Released, Only Two Indian Cities Made It To The List

The Economist Intelligence Unit has released a list of world’s safest cities to visit in 2019. While Tokyo, Singapore, Osaka, and Amsterdam have occupied the top spot only two Indian cities, Mumbai and Delhi have made it to the list.

The ranks are based on 57 indicators including digital security, personal security, health, and infrastructure. And you will be surprised to know that Mumbai stands on the 45th position on the list of only 60 cities in the world.

What is even more shocking and disheartening is that the capital of India New Delhi is in poorer condition as it stands on 52nd position. This is alarming and its high time citizens and the government do something about it.

‘A key element of this will be the ability of cities to provide security for their residents, businesses, and visitors,’ the report said.
