Nathan Lyon Heavily Slammed By Fans On Twitter For Missing The Crucial Run Out

The ongoing Ashes series between England and Australia has been leveled after England won the third test match. The first test match was won by Australia while the second test match was a draw.

The Australian fans are not able to believe that their team has lost because almost all the time, it was in a strong position. Australia was going great in the test match as England was all out for a meager total of 67 runs in their first innings and in the second innings, the English players were given a target of 359 runs which seemed to be an impossible task for them.

However, Ben Stokes changed everything with his superb knock of 135 runs and he was also supported well by Jonny Bairstow as well as Jack Leach. Credit can’t be taken from Ben Stokes but the truth is that Australian players too committed some unforgivable mistakes in the third test match.

Who can forget the moment when Australia needed only one wicket to win the match and Nathan Lyon missed the simple chance of getting Leach run out. The only thing that Nathan was needed to do was to hit the bails as the throw was in hands and Leach was around 2 feet away from the crease. But Nathan Lyon was so nervous under pressure that he fumbled and a golden opportunity was lost.

On the very next ball, Ben Stokes was hit on the pads, an lbw appeal was made but the umpire didn’t agree. However, it was seen in the replays that Ben was out but Australia was not able to take DRS as their options were already exhausted.

A Funny Banter Between Herschelle Gibbs And Alia Bhatt Will Leave You In Splits

Gibbs who was in the game for 14 long years recently shared a GIF featuring Alia on Twitter, not knowing who she really is.

It all started with a normal good morning tweet from Gibbs. On Monday, with a very cheerful mood he tweeted, “Morning 👋 birds are tweeting so I’ll do the same and say have a good one folks😆”

The official Twitter handle of Twitter liked Gibbs’ tweet and the excited cricketer shared it in his other tweet. Attaching Alia’s GIF, he wrote, “That feeling when @Twitter likes your tweet 🤩”

Gibbs caught Indians off guard and they questioned him if he knew who she was. To which he replied, “I have no idea who the lady is 🤷‍♂️”

Later when he got to know about her he tweeted, “Didn’t know you were an actress @aliaa08 but nice gif👏👏”

In reply to Gibbs’ tweet, Alia also posted a GIF of herself followed by a smiley emoji. In the GIF, Alia can be seen giving four signal, referring to the game which Gibbs play.

Now Gibbs answered Alia in the most epic way and wrote, “I deal in 6s madam not fours 🤣👍👍”

Sourav Ganguly Got Trolled For Wishing Good Health To Late Haryana CM Bansi Lal

Sourav Ganguly may be one of the best cricketers of his time but it seems that he is not well aware of the Indian general knowledge. The former Indian skipper is quite active on social media and recently, he committed a big mistake on the micro-blogging site Twitter which made him a laughing stock.

On August 26, a Twitter handle Haryana Tweets made a tweet in which it paid respect to the former Chief Minister of Haryana, Bansi Lal Legha who was more popular as Bansi Lal.

This is what it tweeted, “Respects & Homage to former #Haryana CM & great Administrator Ch Bansi Lal on his birth anniversary. #HaryanaKaLaal”

The former Indian captain also responded to the tweet and wished him good health despite the fact that Bansi Lal took his last breath on March 28, 2006.

This mistake was soon noticed by netizens and we all know that Twitter doesn’t spare anyone, be it one of the most popular Indian cricketers. As a result, Sourav Ganguly got trolled for his blunder and later when he realised the goof-up that he made, he deleted the tweet.

Bansi Lal served the people of Haryana four times as the CM in the years- 1968, 1972, 1986 and 1996. He was an Indian freedom fighter and was in the close circle of the former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Bansi Lal also served as the Indian defense minister from 1975-77 and is referred to as the architect of modern Haryana. However in the year 1996, he left Congress and formed his own party which was named as Haryana Vikas Party.
