Both the patriotic films which released on Independence day last week completed their one extended weekend in theatres and the first weekend collections are out. The numbers are not very surprising as it was expected from both the films. But Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal has done surprisingly well than John Abraham’s Batla House.

Mission Mangal has close to ₹100 crores in its account. It has collected ₹96.50 crore nett. over its first extended weekend. It has already surpassed the business of some hit films of 2019, like De De Pyaar De, Manikarnika – Queen Of Jhansi and Luka Chuppi in just four days.

As statistics go, even if film drops over its first week, it is still a hit film but the trends show that it will do good during the first week, without any huge decline.

Batla House on the other hand only had decent first weekend and managed to earn ₹33.50 crore nett in four days. On Sunday it collected ₹12 crore nett which is considered good, looking at its second and third-day collection.

Now that the weekend is over, both the films will go through their first test, which is the first-week collection. Monday collection will declare which movie will go far.

Indian pacer Jaydev Unadkat is presently out of the Indian squad and his performance during the Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament for his team Rajasthan Royals was also quite disappointing.

Recently, Unadkat took to Twitter to praise his Rajasthan Royals teammate and former Australian skipper Steve Smith for his amazing performance in the ongoing Ashes series and compared him with Don Bradman.

Jaydev Unadkat wrote, “A master-class in action! What a fighter this guy.. @stevesmith49 #Bradmansque” and he retweeted a tweet which talked about the runs scored by Steve Smith in the last seven innings in Ashes.

After this tweet, an online user tried to make fun of the cricketer by calling him a member of Dinda Academy and used abusive word for him. During the IPL, a bowler who performed badly was taunted as a member of Dinda academy and the matter got so controversial that Ashok Dinda had to intervene and shut down all the trollers.

The Twitter user wrote, “Aur tuu Ashok Dinda academy ka member ch*tiya”

Jaydev Unadkat didn’t like the tweet and made up mind of teaching the troller a lesson.

In response, he wrote, “Don’t you people have anything else to focus on? Seriously? So much hatred & jealousy for what?”

Karan Johar is one of those Bollywood celebs who are at the top spot in the list of trollers. Getting trolled is nothing new for KJo and most of the times, the haters target him for his s*xual orientation. Despite the fact that Karan has opened up about his s*xuality in his autobiography entitled “An Unsuitable Boy”, he finds himself at the receiving end of trollers quite often.

Recently, one such Twitter user tried to take a jibe at Karan by saying that a movie should be made on Karan Johar’s life and it should be titled as “KARAN JOHAR: the gay”.

Here’s what the tweet read,

Karan was in no mood to sit silent and bear the brunt of trolling so he hit back the troller in the most classy way and tweeted,

It seems that the kickass reply given by Karan Johar was too much for the troller to handle and he deleted the tweet.

Earlier while talking in a chat show, Karan said that in the beginning, he used to get upset when he was trolled, later he become indifferent to it and now he gets amused by it.

He also states that it really doesn’t matter to him what people say about him but he gets angry when they start talking bad about his kids and he really hates it.

We also feel that these trollers should leave Karan Johar alone and should not target him at least for his s*xuality because it is his personal choice and his privacy should be respected.
