India is celebrating its 73rd Independence Day today (August 15) and this is the sixth time that PM Narendra Modi has addressed the nation from the Red Fort, New Delhi.

Many people have laid their lives and a number of sacrifices have been made in order to attain freedom from the Britishers. The present generations should value our freedom and work constantly to make our country proud.

This Independence Day is quite special for the country as it is the first Independence Day after Article 370 has been scrapped. Article 370 provided special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir and there were reports that militants can try to create an unpleasant situation. However, our security agencies have left no stone unturned in ensuring that the people of Jammu & Kashmir can celebrate their Independence Day peacefully.

Several opposition parties opposed this move of PM Modi and questioned the manner in which Article 370 was abolished. In fact, the leaders of regional political parties of Jammu and Kashmir went on to say that the consequences of this step will be very devastating in the future. The neighbouring country Pakistan has also condemned this move of the Indian government and has been trying to get international support on this matter but failed miserably.

Rajinikanth Opens Up On PM Modi’s Bold Move On Article 370 & You Will Agree With Him

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known for making tough decisions but nobody in the opposition expected that his government will take the bold move of scrapping Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. However, the manner in which the Modi government has carried out the whole process of scrapping Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir has earned them praises.

Not many Bollywood celebrities spoke on this matter but the southern superstar Rajinikanth chose to express his opinion on it.

He called it a nice diplomatic act and regarded PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah as Lord Krishna and Arjuna, respectively. Rajinikanth said that Kashmir is a matter of concern as it is related to the security of the nation and terrorists used it to enter inside the country.

Rajinikanth went on to say that the way it all was planned was a master stroke; first section 144 was imposed and it was ensured that nobody could create trouble and for this purpose, some leaders were kept under house arrest as well. He said that the bill was tabled in the Rajya Sabha first where government didn’t have the majority but it was passed there and then was presented in the Lok Sabha.

He also said that politicians should understand what matter should be politicized and what not. Well, it was certainly a dig at those politicians who are trying to make an issue out of it.

Batla House another Hindi movie of this week starring John Abraham, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan directed by Nikhil Advani. The movie inspired by the real life encounter in 2008 at Bstla House. A huge controversy was created about the encounter.

Batla House seemed to be another big movie of this week, but the movie falls flat as the script doesn’t hold that crisp to keep the audience connected with less complexity. Here’s What Akshay Kumar Has To Say About The Connection Between His Movies & PM Modi’s Projects

Akshay Kumar’s “Mission Mangal” has released today and everyone is expecting it to perform well on the box-office. The “Baby” star started his career as an action hero but soon he tried his hands in comedy genre as well and achieved success.

Presently, he is more inclined towards patriotic and social subjects and sometimes it is being said that he works in those movies which are based on the projects implemented by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During an interaction with mediapersons, when Akshay Kumar was asked to comment on the relation between his movies and projects implemented by PM Modi, he said that there is no truth in these rumours and whatever has happened is coincidental.

He said that his movie “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” got released in 2017 while PM Modi launched Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan in 2014. He further added that ISRO is working on the Chandrayaan project since 2015 while the shooting for “Mission Mangal” started in 2018, so there is no connection between his movies and projects of PM Modi.

He also told that ISRO was founded on August 15, 1969, and coincidentally, “Mission Mangal” is releasing exactly on the 50th Anniversary of ISRO’s formation. He said that he came to know about this fact just few months back. While talking about his movie “Kesari”, he said that the flick was based on a real incident which took place in 1897, so this has no connection with what media is talking about.
