Note that, Sushma Swaraj did not contest in 2019 Lok Sabha elections because of her health issues. She took a personal interest in resolving public issues like issuance of visa to the needy and getting relief to Indians in distress. Also, she built an Indian human capital abroad. From being called ‘supermom’ of India by Washington Post to becoming one of the most-followed Indian politicians on Twitter, she was the perfect example of a true leader.

The Indian government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a historic decision of scrapping Article 370 along with some other important decisions related to Jammu and Kashmir. Many political parties have supported the government in this matter but the oldest political party of India, i.e., Congress is not happy with this decision.
However, what surprises everyone is the fact that Congress leaders are not even well-prepared to give a speech in the ongoing discussion on the matter of abrogation of Article 370. Congress leader Manish Tewari is getting slammed on social media networks because of a statement that he made in the Parliament.
He said, “Ek Angrezi Ki Kitaab Hai, Har Cheez Kaali Aur Safaid Nahi Hoti…There are Fifty Shades of Grey in Between.”
It loosely translates to, “There is an English book; not everything is black and white… There are Fifty Shades of Grey in Between”.
This statement was given by Manish Tewari when the home minister Amit Shah asked him to clarify his party’s stand on Article 370.
People are losing their mind over the fact as to why Manish Tewari talked about an erotic book which deals with the s*xual desires of humans during the speech in the Parliament.

The book “Fifty Shades of Grey” is written by EL Jamesa and a movie has also been made on this book with the same name. It was directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and the main leads were played by Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.

Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is spending his time with his battalion. Recently he was seen playing volleyball with the members of his Territorial Army regiment and polishing shoes. Now a new video has surfaced where he is seen wearing his uniform and singing to entertain his men.
Dhoni can be heard humming the lyrics of “main pal do pal ka shayar hun” from the movie “Kabhi Kabhie”. Watch the video here:
Lt. Col Dhoni joined his regiment from July 30 and he will be staying with his 106 TA Battalion (Para) till August 15. Here he will carry out his duties of patrolling, guarding and post duties with the troops.
The Indian wicket-keeper and former captain decided to skip India-West Indies series tour and serve his troop for a month. He asked BCCI not to consider him for the tour as he will not be available in the upcoming months.

Akshay Kumar is busy nowadays promoting his next release “Mission Mangal” which is slated to release on the Indian Independence day, i.e., 15th August. There is no denying the fact that Khiladi Kumar is one of the most sought actors of the present times and every director wants to work with him. He has quite a good number of projects in his kitty, such as “Housefull 4”, “Good News”, “Sooryavanshi”, “Laxmmi Bomb”, “Bachchan Pandey” and “Ikka”.
What’s more, it seems that Akshay has signed a big project after Article 370 has been scrapped by the Indian government which has resulted in Jammu & Kashmir losing the special status and being divided into two separate states.
If reports are to be believed, he has been signed to play the character of Ajit Doval, the National Security Advisor (NSA) to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in one of his upcoming movies.
The movie will be directed by Neeraj Pandey who has already given us some really good flicks such as “Special 26”, “Baby” and “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha”. The shooting of the film will start a little later but the makers want to lock the script as of now. While Akshay has his own commitments to fulfill, Neeraj will first make “Chanakya” with Ajay Devgn.
Ajit Doval is a highly decorated intelligence official who started his career in 1968 by joining Indian Police Service in Kerala cadre. He was actively involved in anti-insurgency operations which were carried out in Mizoram and Punjab. Not only this, he also played an important role in the negotiation done for the release of passengers during the hijacking of IC-814 in 1999 in Kandhar, Afghanistan.
Ajit Doval was also the part of the core team which worked on the strategy of Balakot air strike and he had also been awarded with Kirti Chakra for his services.

Many times we have heard about incidents in which passengers, especially women, are harassed by cab drivers and every time the authorities and the cab service providing app companies repeat their statements as per which a strong action will be taken to avoid such situation in the future. However, the reality is that these types of incidents are still taking place and they will happen in future as well if a strong mechanism is not developed to counter them.

One more time, a woman from Bengaluru has narrated her horrific experience on Twitter which she had in an Uber cab. She tweeted that while she was travelling in the cab, she got to hear that the driver was slamming the passengers while talking to one of his friends on the phone. He also talked about the woman passenger and said that she was an educated woman so she should not go out to drink with friends. When the woman passenger heard it, she asked the driver to mind his own business but the driver started behaving rudely and then he began to hurl abuses at her.
When the cab slowed down, the woman passenger pressed the emergency button but instead of calling her, the safety team of Uber called the driver. The driver accused the woman of being drunk and she had to scream in order to be heard by the safety team.
The driver threatened the woman passenger that if she didn’t leave the cab, he would tear her clothes apart. After leaving the cab, the customer care executive of Uber promised her another cab which never turned up and she was left stranded at 11.15 pm on a road which was not much busy. She had to call her friends after waiting for 15 minutes and sending numerous messages to Uber.
The woman has also claimed that she has not received a single call from Uber to talk about the incident and the only thing that they have done is to refund her money which she was not even thinking about at that moment.
On the other hand, the spokesperson of Uber has said that they are in touch with the passenger and the driver’s access to the app has been revoked.
