Taj Trolls JW Marriott After Rahul Bose’s Banana Tweet. Twitter Says “Waah Taj” For Epic Timing

Actor Rahul Bose literally created a storm in the hospitality industry after he posted a video on the micro-blogging site Twitter in which he told people that he had been charged Rs 442 for two bananas by a five-star hotel.

The incident happened when Rahul was staying in JW Marriott, Chandigarh. The social media networks were flooded with reactions, some users slammed JW Marriott while there were few who advised Rahul to buy bananas from fruit vendors rather than ordering them in a five-star hotel.

The matter was soon taken into consideration by the Chandigarh Deputy Commissioner and Excise and Taxation Commissioner Mandip Singh Brar who has ordered a high-level investigation as the hotel has charged GST on fresh fruits.

Well, now a tweet is going viral which shows an announcement as per which Hotel Taj is serving seasonal fruits with compliments.

“We would be delighted to serve seasonal fresh whole fruits with our compliments.

Please call In Room Dining to place your request.”

This announcement was taken as an attempt to troll JW Marriott; however in reality, it is something which is practiced by Taj and other hotels for quite some time now.

The tweet was made by Deepak Shenoy who is the founder of Capital Mind and the caption that he wrote while sharing it read, “Meanwhile, in the land of trolling JW Marriott….”

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam: Social Media Salutes The Missile Man Of India

On Saturday, July 27, 2015, people are saluting the immortal Indian Missile Man Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his 4th death anniversary.

On this date Dr APJ Abdul Kalam collapsed and passed away while giving a speech at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong due to cardiac arrest.

Abdul Kalam was an aerospace scientist who served as the 11th Presiden of India from 2002 – 2007 was widely referred to as the People’s President.


Dr Kalam also earned the title Missile Man of India for his contribution in India’s Civilian Space Program and Military Missile Development Offers. Mr APJ Abdul Kalam laid the foundation of India’s second mission to moon Chandrayaan 2.

You are in the phase of your life where you have a job, family, relationship and lots of responsibility. At times you need someone to rely upon, to cry on his shoulder, to share everything. But don’t make your boss your support system. You might think of him/her as a friendly boss, but he is your senior and for him, you are his employee.

So here are the things you should never say to your boss as these may give away negative about you.

1. About your relationship troubles

No matter how rough your life is going and how close you are with your boss, don’t open up about your relationship in front of him. This might ease your pain but your boss’s thinking about you will change.

2. About your family issues

Your parents are fighting too much, your children don’t listen to you, your wife doesn’t understand you. Well, all this is none of your boss’ problem. So keep it to yourself.

3. About your financial problems

You have too many responsibilities so you face financial problems at the end of the month. A lot of people do but that doesn’t mean that you go to your boss and cry rivers about it. Your boss will get the idea that either you are a cry baby or can’t manage your finances properly.

4. What you think about your co-workers

If you have any problem with your co-worker, tell that to him/her. Don’t complain about them to your boss. It will paint you bad not them.

5. If you are finding a new job

Everyone wants to move forward and looks for better opportunities. And if you are not content with your company or workplace, you look for better jobs. But don’t tell that to your boss. If he finds out that you are going to leave, he will try to find someone to replace you as soon as possible.

6. About your mental health or ongoing sickness, if not serious

We all have stress and pressure at some point in our lives. Too much work, family responsibilities, financial problems sometimes get you in depression. But your mental condition is just your problem, no need to tell it your boss or colleagues.

7. That you have a crush on him/her

Yes, sometimes you develop feelings for your boss and any senior but expressing them is not a good idea.

8. Bitching about your old boss

You might think that what will happen if you tell your current boss about how bad your ex-boss was, but it will put you in a bad light. He will get the idea that you are a back bitcher and you will talk the same about him to your next boss.

9. About your past

Once you were high on weed and were caught by the police driving high, and you had to spend a night in jail. This might be a funny incident for you but your boss might not think the same. He will judge you by your past.

10. That you are bored at work

Never ever tell your boss that you are getting bored in the office. If you don’t have work, ask for some or just wait quietly for the assignment. But don’t just go blabbering that you are bored. You boss will think of you as a liability aftre that.

Mohammed Shami’s Visa Rejected On Domestic Violence Charge, BCCI Comes To Rescue

The US declined Mohammed Shami’s visa due to his existing police records on the charge of adultery and domestic violence. According to a report in Hindustan Times, BCCI had to step in to solve the matter.

BCCI CEO Rahul Johri wrote a letter to the US Embassy. He stated that Shami’s achievements for the country have been tremendous and also filled in the details about the Shami’s marriage and divorce. Shami was later granted the visa under P1 category (issued to members of internationally recognized foreign team of athletes).

Jahan, Shami’s wife, has filed a case against Shami based on adultery and domestic violence, they separated in early 2018.

Shami will now be seen playing India’s ODI and Test squad in West Indies.

Gautam Gambhir Responds To MS Dhoni’s Decision To Join Indian Army

Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni made himself unavailable for the upcoming West Indies tour, as reported by the BCCI official. Dhoni has decided to spend the next two months with his troop. MSD is in the Territorial Army as an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Parachute Regiment.


Army Chief General Bipin Rawat approved MS Dhoni’s request to train with the Parachute Regiment for next 2 months.

Former Indian cricketer turned politician Gautam Gambhir praised MS Dhoni for taking the decision to serve his nation. He said, this move of MS Dhoni is going to encourage and inspire the youth to join Indian army.


In an interview with ABP news, the former cricketer turned politician termed captain cool’s stint as a fantastic move as it proves his dedication towards the country.

Gautam Gambhir further said, I have said several times that Mahi needs to spend more time with the Indian army. If he has decided to serve the nation and wear that uniform, then Dhoni has definitely proved his dedication.

Dhoni’s magnificent move is going to encourage thousands of young Indian’s to join the Indian Army, Gambhir concluded.

MS Dhoni will take up controlling, patrolling duties with his battalion in Kashmir.
