David Lloyd Laughed At Dhoni For Joining Army Training, Got Heavily Slammed On Twitter

The Indian cricket squad is gearing up for the West Indies tour where they will be playing 2 test matches, 3 ODI and 3 T20Is but it will be the first time since 2004 that M S Dhoni won’t be part of the squad and will not play in any of the formats.

There is no denying the fact that Dhoni is one of the best cricketers that we have but it is also true that ageing is affecting his game and that is not good either for him or for the team. After India’s defeat in the semi-final against New Zealand in the World Cup 2019, it was speculated by many that this would be the last match of the former captain and he would be announcing his retirement soon.

There were some reports which stated that the selectors would not be picking Dhoni for future tours and even if he didn’t announce retirement, he would not play for India in the future. When everybody was curious to know whether Dhoni would be a part of the Indian squad for West Indies, the wicketkeeper-batsman told the board that he would not be available for selection for the next two months.

The reason for Dhoni’s unavailability is that he will be serving Para Regiment. If you remember, Dhoni is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army, though it is an honorary post and permission for the same has been granted by Bipin Rawat, the Chief of the Indian Army.

While some people welcomed this decision of Dhoni, former England cricketer and coach David Lloyd found it funny and he reacted with laughing emojis on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the BCCI has selected Rishabh Pant as the main wicketkeeper and another Indian wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha has also been selected for the tour.

Jasprit Bumrah Shared A Post On Twitter After World Cup Loss, Got Trolled

The young cricketer Jasprit Bumrah is one of the fastest bowlers of India but we are not going to see him bowling on the West Indian pitches as he has been rested by BCCI. He is quite active on social media networks and keeps on sharing updates with his fans; however some time ago, he was trending on Twitter because of the rumors of him dating actress Anupama Parameswaran.

Anupama is a successful South Indian actress and Bumrah follows her on the micro-blogging site which made people think that they are romantically involved. However, when the actress was asked about it, she completely denied it and said that she is just a good friend of the cricketer.

Some Indian fans are not happy with the Indian cricketers because of their dismissal performance against New Zealand in the semi-finals of the World Cup 2019. India was out of the tournament after getting defeated by the Kiwis.

Indian Army Chief Replies To MS Dhoni’s Request To Train With The Army Regiment

Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni made himself unavailable for the upcoming West Indies tour, as reported by the BCCI official. Dhoni has decided to spend the next two months with his troop. MSD is in Territorial Army as an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Parachute Regiment.

On Sunday a BCCI official said, “Dhoni has made himself unavailable for the tour of West Indies as he will be spending two months with his paramilitary regiment.”

Mahendra Singh Dhoni had requested to the Indian Army to let him train with the territorial army battalion of the Parachute regiment for next two months.

On Sunday, top army sources said, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat approved MS Dhoni’s request to train with the Parachute Regiment for next 2 months.

The Top army sources in an interview with IANS said, the request has been approved by the Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat and the honorary Lt Col would train with the Parachute regiment battalion.

MS Dhoni will start training with the Parachute regiment battalion half of the training is expected to take place in Jammu and Kashmir. However, Dhoni won’t be allowed by the Army officials to take part in any active operations. As revealed by the sources.

The Honorary Lieutenant Colonel MS Dhoni is all set to take his fitness level to another level.

Umpire Kumar Dharmasena Admits His Overthrow ERROR In World Cup 2019

The final match of ICC WORLD Cup 2019 made our minds boggle. In the last over of England’s inning, the English cricketers needed 9 runs to win the game off just 3 balls. Ben Stokes hit the ball close to the boundary but it was caught and thrown back. Stokes dived after taking the second run accidentally hit the ball with his bat and the ball was diverted off towards the boundary. England unexpectedly got 6 runs and the English men only required 3 runs off 2 balls.

People are still criticizing the decision given by the umpires as they suspect England should have got only five runs instead of six runs off the third ball of the last over against New Zealand.

It gave the nail-biting match a turnover as for the first time in the history of World Cup super over was conducted which again tied and the England team took the cup home after boundary counts were considered to select the World Cup winners.

The onfield umpire Kumar Dharmsena who gave the decision of 6 runs has finally admitted his mistake and accepted only 5 runs should have been given.

Dharmasena said I agree that there was an error of judgement when I see it on TV replays now. But we did not have the luxury of TV replays at the ground and I do not regret the decision I made. So, I did consult the leg umpire (Erasmus) through the communication system which is heard by all other umpires and the match referee.

The former Sri Lankan test cricketer further added While they cannot check TV replays, they all confirmed that the batsmen have completed the second run. This is when I made my decision and I don’t regret it.

World Cup winners have been decided let’s not fuss about it anymore.

In simple words, he was telling Sushma Swaraj that she will also be remembered like Sheila Dikshit after her de*th. Saying things like this to a living human is absolutely ridiculous but Sushma Ji managed the troll in the most classy way ever.
