Ambati Rayadu the middle-order batsman announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. Rayadu was in the race for being selected to the mega cricketing event ICC World Cup 2019 but at the last moment, all-rounder Vijay Shankar was picked for the squad ahead of Ambati Rayadu. Well, he was replaced by Vijay Shankar based on the third-dimensional rules as stated by MSK Prasad Chief Selector.
On Sunday a press conference was held by BCCI to announce the squads for team India’s West Indies tour. BCCI’s Chief Selector MSK Prasad addressed the media. MSK Prasad made the media crack when the BCCI selector was asked about Rayadu’s tweet indicating the team selectors.
Dejected Rayadu took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the World cup selection result.
MSK Prasad replied It was a lovely tweet. Very timely one. I really enjoyed the tweet. It was fantastic. I don’t know how it struck him. Later he was drowned with questions regarding Rayadu’s world cup selection whether there was favouritism or biases toward others.
Prasad said, how much emotions have gone through anybody, the same emotions have gone through the selection committee. When we pick any player and he does well, we feel so happy for him. Similarly, when somebody, out of emotions, goes out in this way, selection committee members also feel for him.
MSK Prasad also said, but having said that, with regard to the decision that was taken it was completely devoid of any biases or favouritism. From the start, we are telling why we have picked Vijay Shankar or Rishabh Pant or Mayank Agarwal.
When Rayudu was picked for ODIs on the basis of his T20 performance, there was criticism, but we had some thoughts about him. When he failed the fitness test, this selection committee backed him and we put him for a fitness program to be fit to play for India. However, due to certain combinations, he wasn’t picked but it doesn’t make the Selection Committee biased, he further added.

The video of a schoolgirl from Kurukshetra, Haryana is going viral in which she is seen on reporting waterlogging in her area. She is using her hand as mike and while walking on the flooded street she is telling the camera about the waterlogging after heavy rain. The video is shared by a twitter user Chiguru Prashanth and is impressing the audience online.
The post by Prashanth read, “In Haryana school girl from #Kurukshetra is reporting live during rainfall from her neighborhood about the water logging problem. I hope her voice will reach to the authorities @cmohry @mlkhattar. No doubt she has outsmarted all TV journalists in her stint!”
The little girl is saying, “As you can see the flow of water is so fast that even I can’t walk through it. This house was filled with water but the owners used cement bags to prevent water from coming inside.”
This is not the first this type of reporting video by a kid is going viral. In February this year, a reporting video by a Kshminiri girl also took over the internet by storm. The little girl was reporting on snowfall.

TV actor Ram Kapoor recently in news for his weight loss. Once known for being overweight, Ram is the new fitness inspiration for many. While his transformation is not a secret as everyone has seen him “Then” and “Now”, the question is how he did it?
Ram’s wife and actress Gautami Gadgil Kapoor recently opened about his journey towards fitness and how he achieved his goals.
Speaking to E Times, Gautami said that fitness is something very personal and no one can push or force the other into fitness. She said that when Ram decided to do it, he went for it. He is a foodie so for him to lose weight and control his diet, is a big thing. He has taken a long time to lose all the weight.
She also added that he has not taken supplements and hasn’t undergone any surgery concluding that he has adopted a natural way towards fitness.
Talking about how he plans to take his fitness forward, Gautami said that he still feels that he has just come halfway through and will take another 6 months to achieve his goals and reduce more weight and become almost half the size that he is now. According to Gautami, Ram says that fitness is an addiction and now that he has reached up to this level, he wants to achieve it all.

International Cricket Council (ICC) the global governing body of cricket on Thursday 18th July during the annual conference of ICC in London took the decision to suspend the entire cricket team of Zimbabwe with immediate effects. The decision was taken.
The apex cricketing body released a statement stating that every member has failed to prevent government intervention in the administration of sport in the country.
ICC Board unanimously decided that the Full Member had failed to fulfil their obligation to provide a process for free and democratic elections and to ensure that there is no government interference in its administration for cricket. Zimbabwe cricket team will no longer receive the funding from ICC

A resident from Chamri, Hapur in UP has received a bill of 1,28,45,95,444. Yes, these are the actual numbers, and this is no joke. The man is running from here to there to get the bill rectified, but apparently, there has been no change. And above this, the electricity department had cut the connection, so that he pays his due.
Shamim, the person who got the bill, was shocked to see the amount and reached the department to get the issue settled. When upon his arrival he was told to pay the bill and then only his connection will be resumed.
Shamim said, “No one listens to our pleas, how will we submit that amount? When we went to complain about it, we were told that they would not resume our electricity supply unless we pay the bill,”. He also told reporters that his monthly electricity bill is around Rs 700 and Rs 800. “But this time, the Electricity Department has given me the bill of the entire city,” he said.
Power Department in Lucknow said that they are not aware of the problem and when told to comment they said that this must be a glitch. And till then Shamim and his family will have to be in the dark.

Ravichandran Ashwin, the Indian spinner, knows how to make headlines even when he is not a part of the national squad. There is no denying the fact that Ashwin has contributed a lot to the Indian cricket and he is one of the best spinners that we have but still he keeps on doing things which perplex us and give us a feeling that he is absolutely unpredictable.

He is leading Dindigul Dragons in the tournament and in the opening match, he promoted himself at no. 3 and scored 37 runs of just 19 balls.
Coming back to the weird bowling action, Ashwin bowled without moving his non-bowling arm and his run-up also got completed on the wrong foot. He did this when Chepauk Super Gillies needed 17 runs of just 2 balls and they had lost 9 wickets.

Earlier, Ashwin had a good time playing for Nottinghamshire in the County Championship Division One where he took 20 wickets and played some good knocks as well.
Till now, the 32 years old cricketer has represented the country in 65 Test matches, 111 ODIs and 46 T20Is. Hopefully we will see him playing more matches for the country.
