The rumors of former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni’s retirements have been making rounds since a long time now. Fans were making predictions that Dhoni will retire after holding the World Cup trophy this year. But India’s defeat at the hands of New Zealand in the semi-final crushed all such hopes. BCCI also made a statement that India’s victory in the WC on July 14th will be the perfect timing for Dhoni to retire.
After India’s exit from the ICC world cup Dhoni faced wide criticism but he also had a large number of supporters. Lyricist Javed Akhtar and singer Lata Mangeshkar even requested Dhoni not to go into retirement right now.
Amidst all this Keshav Banerjee revealed that the player’s parents also want him to leave cricket now. Keshav, Dhoni’s childhood coach told Sports Tak, “Dhoni’s parents told me that the entire media is saying that he should retire, and we feel they’re right. They said we can’t handle this big property anymore.”
However, Keshav asked them to wait for one more year when they have waited for so long. He explained to them that Dhoni should play until the next year’s T20 World Cup in Australia.

The mind-boggling final of ICC World Cup 2019 has graved its name in the history of World Cup. England cricket team held the world cup the trophy for the very first time in Lords after defeating New Zealand.
The 50 overs match ended in a tie England chased 241 runs as set by New Zealand. For the first time in the World Cup history, Super Over was conducted in the World Cup finals but still both the teams ended in a tie as both scored 15 runs each. Jimmy Neesham made 13 runs even smashed a six off Jofra Archer. They needed to smash 2 runs off the last ball. Alas, Martin Guptill was run out attempting the second run.
Later the winner of World Cup 2019 was decided as per the ICC rules which led to the count of boundaries, which team hit the most number of boundaries. Recycled water now contributes to 42% of total water usage. Now Anand Mahindra has announced plastic bottles ban in all his companies.
The chairman of Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra on Tuesday shared a photo of his conference room on Twitter. A twitter user observed lots of plastic bottles on a bog table surrounded by people. And within an hour of the tweet, Mahindra humbly replied to the user and wrote, “Yes, plastic bottles will be banished. We were all embarrassed to see them that day…”
Anand is very tech-savvy and engages himself in every viral conversation. He works toward sustainable growth. He, along with his employees of all the 100 companies, had pledged to become carbon neutral 10 years before the agreed deadline for the world in the Paris agreement.
Speaking at World Economic Forum he said, “The business community too recognizes that this is not a problem they are solving alone or something you check on your CSR (corporate social responsibility) box. This is the biggest business opportunity for the next few decades,” he said.

It has been two days since the ICC world cup 2019 is over and every day new revelations are coming in light over the ball deflection mishap during the final match. The last match between England and New Zealand which was won by the former was full of thrill and drama.
The leading Test cricket fast bowler James Anderson has revealed that Ben Stokes asked the on-field umpire to cancel the boundary runs he awarded when the ball was deflected after hitting his bat and went to the boundary.
During the last over of England’s inning, the team needed 9 runs to win the game in 3 balls. Ben Stokes hit the ball close to the boundary but it was caught and thrown back. Stokes who dived after taking the second run accidentally hit the ball with his bat and the ball was deflected off towards the unguarded boundary. England got unexpected 6 runs and the gap between the balls and runs contracted to 3 runs in 2 balls.
Former Australian umpire Simon Taufel said that England should have got only five runs instead of six runs off the third ball of the last over against New Zealand as the two batsmen hadn’t crossed at the time of the throw.
Anderson said, “The etiquette in cricket is if the ball is thrown at the stumps and it hits you and goes into a gap in the field you don’t run. But if it goes to the boundary, in the rules it’s four and you can’t do anything about it. I think, talking to Michael Vaughan who saw him after the game, Ben Stokes actually went to the umpires and said, ‘Can you take that four runs off. We don’t want it’.”
He added, “But it’s in the rules and that’s the way it is – it’s been talked about for a while among the players, potentially being a dead ball if it does hit the batsman and veer off somewhere.”

Ranchi Court gave a unique verdict to a 19-year-old girl named Richa Bharti to distributed 5 copies of Qurans as her punishment for posting communal post on her social media handle.
On Saturday night Richa Bharti a first-year B.com student at a local college in Ranchi was arrested after an FIR was lodged against her for allegedly sharing an offensive communal post on her social media handle which hurt the sentiments of other minority community. Richa Bharti’s bail was granted by the court after the two communities respectively agreed and expressed their consent in the court.
The Judicial Magistrate of Ranchi Court Manish Kumar on 15th July asked Richa to distribute a copy of the Islamic holy book to Anjuman Islamia Committee and other four to the libraries of different schools or colleges.
Richa Bharti’s arrest drew sharp criticism from the localities. Various Hindu organisations also protested for her, demanding her release. The unrest was quenched after rural SP Ashutosh Sekharan interruption. Well, several Hindu groups and local BJP leader conveyed their anger on the unique verdict given by the Ranchi court.
Ram Pravesh Singh the lawyer of Richa Bharti ensured that the verdict of the court will be abided within 15 days, as per the deadline was given by the court.
Richa Bharti in an interview with ANI expressed her displeasure, she said, Other communities also make such posts, have they ever been asked to recite Hanuman Chalisa & visit temples?
