Super 30 Collection: Exceptionally Good First Weekend For A No Masala Movie

Super 30 is helmed by Vikas Bahl starring Hrithik Roshan, Pankaj Tripathi, and Mrunal Thakur. Thakur made her Bollywood debut with this one. Super 30 created a massive buzz for various reasons and after so much controversy the movie finally hit the theatres.

The film has finally completed its first weekend in the theatres and needless to say it passed its first test with flying colors. Despite being a no masala movie, Super 30 is trending well at the box office.

Film Critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Super30 has an excellent weekend… Performed exceptionally well at multiplexes of metros and Tier-2 cities, while mass circuits also saw a healthy trend”

According to Taran the film’s status now depends upon the weekdays’ performance, but it is trending far better than Hrithik’s last two films Mohenjo Daro and Kaabil.

Super 30 has collected ₹11.83 crore on its first day and ₹18.19 crores on the second day. The movie is based on the life of a brilliant mathematician and educationist Anand Kumar who is well known and hailed for providing free coaching to students who are from economically weaker households but are intelligent, for the entrance of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

16 Million Indian Instagram Influencers Are Fake, Revealed A Study

A recent study found out that around 16 million Indian influencers from India are fake. The study suggests that such people are artificially boosting “vanity metrics” that marketers usually use while picking influencers, including followers and engagement.

A Good Company, a Swedish e-commerce start-up, and HypeAuditor, a data analytics firm evaluated 1.84 million Instagram accounts across 82 nations.

Their research found out that the US, Brazil, and India have the most number of fake accounts on the Facebook-owned social media platform. The US has 49 million, Brazil 27 million and India ahs 16 million fake influencers on Instagram.

CEO of A Good Company, Anders Ankarlid, told PRWeek, “The Instagram fraud is estimated to cost marketers close to $750 million globally in wastage in a market now worth about $1.7 billion.

“Companies are pouring money into influencer marketing, thinking that they are connecting with real people and not Russian bots. In reality, they are pouring money down the drain and giving away free products to someone who acquired a mass-following overnight,” Anders said.

The final match was played between England and New Zealand at the Lords, England. The 50 overs match ended in a tie New Zealand chased 241 runs as set by England. For the first time in the World Cup history, Super Over was conducted in the World Cup finals but still both the teams ended on a tie as both scored 15 runs each. Later the winner of World Cup 2019 was decided as per the ICC rules which led to the count of boundaries, which team hit the number of boundaries.

The country ( England ) which invented the game of cricket emerged as the winner of ICC World Cup 2019 for the first time ever in history. England hit 26 boundaries and the kiwi’s hit 17 boundaries.

The people were definitely not pleased with the decision taken by ICC as the match was awarded to England for hitting 8 more boundaries as compared to New Zealand.
