India lost to New Zealand in the semi-final match of the ongoing ICC World Cup. The match which started in India’s favor ended on a very different node, but during the match, there was high time for Indian fans when Ravindra Jadeja was on the pitch behind the bat. Jadeja came on the ground when India was just 92 for 6 in the 31 overs. He scored 77 runs just 59 balls and was aiming for the century when his wicket fell and he had to leave the ground.

Now his wife Rivaba revealed how he reacted to India’s loss and his wicket. He was left disheartened and heartbroken after India had to get out of the race for the world cup.

Talking to Bombay Times, Jadeja’s wife Rivaba said, “He was inconsolable after the loss and kept saying, ‘If I wouldn’t have got out, we could’ve won’. When you lose a match after coming this close, it really hurts and it will be a while before he comes to terms with it.”

She told how she tried to console her husband. She said to him, “I just told him that everyone is proud of the way he had played and shouldn’t feel bad, as he gave it his everything. I had planned to travel to England to watch the final, but now I will drop that plan.”

Talking about Jadeja’s sportsmanship she said, “If you look at his journey, he has always performed in crunch games, taking wickets and scoring vital runs. When we won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013, he was the man of the match in the final for his all-round performance.”

Ratan Tata recently bought a team based out of Jamshedpur. RPG is looking forward to the team from Pune and Adani from Ahmedabad.

Super 30 is helmed by Vikas Bahl starring Hrithik Roshan and Pankaj Tripathi. Mrunal Thakur made her Bollywood debut with this one. Super 30 created a massive buzz for various reasons after so much controversy the movie finally hit the theatres.

Despite being a no masala movie Super 30 managed to draw a huge number of audience on its first and second day. The film witnessed about 50-55% growth on Saturday and earned in the ₹17-18 crore net range.

“Super 30” has collected Rs 11.83 crore on its first day which is higher than the opening collections of Hrithik’s last release “Kaabil” that minted Rs 10.43 crore.

The movie is based on the life of a brilliant mathematician and educationist Anand Kumar who is pretty famous for providing free coaching to students who are from economically weaker households for the entrance examinations of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

A recent war of words between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and a journalist named Justin Rao grabbed several eyeballs. Now the Press Club of India has condemned Kangana’s act in a statement. The club issued a declaration in which they termed the actress’ behavior “unacceptable” and supported the entertainment journalists who have decided to boycott her.

“We, the Press Club of India are aghast, anguished and shocked at the incident involving an actress of Bollywood using uncivilized, uncultured, filthy and abusive language against the Media persons. We condemn it in the strongest possible words. This behavior and hurling abuses towards journalists are unacceptable,” the statement reads.

We, the Press Club of India, are aghast, anguished and shocked at the incident involving an actress of Bollywood using uncivilized, uncultured, filthy and abusive language against the Media persons. We condemn it in the strongest possible words. This behavior and hurling abuses towards journalists are unacceptable.

We support the decision of the boycott by the journalists covering the entertainment industry in Mumbai namely Entertainment Journalists Guild. We extend our support to the Mumbai Press Club for undertaking thorough inquiry of the matter.

Lastly, we, the Press Club of India wish to appeal to the saner and civilized members of the Bollywood to prevail upon these uncivilized, uncultured and unruly elements and entities of their industry. We hope and expect that the sanity and wisdom will prevail.

The controversy queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut on Monday, 8 July, got into a war of words with a journalist at the music launch event of her upcoming Judgementall Hai Kya. The National Award Winning actress accused a reporter of giving negative reviews to her movie Manikarnika and she also claimed he is running a “smear campaign” against her.

After that, the Entertainment Journalists’ Guild of India has decided to boycott Kangana. The Guild also demanded a public apology from Kangana as well as her upcoming film’s producer Ekta Kapoor.
