‘Never Abuse The Game’, Waqar Younis Takes A Dig At Team India, Desi’s Show Him To Never Mess With Us

We are officially out of the World Cup, our Men in Blue fought hard and lost only one match in the series. Sometimes things do not go the way we think they should go and it is heartbreaking. With the top 3 players losing their wickets back to back, Indians had slim hopes to win. But the team did not give up. While netizens were unhappy some people were quivering with joy. Among them was Waqar Younis.

When India was playing England, if India would have won that game, Pakistan would still be in the game or so they say. India lost and people thought that they purposely lost to make Pakistan loose. Dhoni’s poor performance in the game added flam to the fire. Waqar Younis after India’s defeat posted a tweet saying that one should always respect the game and karma comes back. The tweet read,” Such a brutal game this Cricket and a great leveller… Bites you back when you are expecting the least #CWC19 I learnt a great lesson today “Never Abuse The Game” #INDvsNZL”

People were furious after this, some called him hypocrite after he was found guilty of match-fixing and some were pure angry by his tweet. See, how they reacted :

Waqar was sure given a taste of his own medicine.

Sanjay Manjrekar Takes A Dig At Jadeja After His Outstanding Performance Today, Gets Schooled By Fans

India lost in today’s semi-finals and a zillion heart broke at once. India’s performance overall in the series has been spectacular. With only one loss against England India had high hopes of winning the World Cup for us. Things don’t go as planned and expected. Nevertheless, the team played well and won admiration from across the globe.

In the midst of this, a lot of people came into the spotlight for their ‘expertise’ comments, among them was Sanjay Manjrekar. Sanjay Manjrekar heavily criticized Dhoni and Jadeja for no reason at all. Jadeja took a stand for himself and requested Sanjay to stop his ‘verbal diarrhea’. But it seems Sanjay did not take a hint and is still playing the sly game.

In today’s match after the loss of the first 3 wickets India had lost all the hope, Jadeja our knight in shining armor came to our rescue. He played a brilliant inning and scored 77 runs today, besides the tensed condition India was in. When Jadeja got out, Sanjay took to Twitter and wrote a sarcastic comment,” Well played Jadeja! 😉”.

Very ‘subtle’ Sanjay Manjrekar. People soon lashed out at him and asked him to take lessons rather than spreading this negativity. See how desi’s responded.

This tweet does not seem fair to a lot of people and is not justified too.

Yograj Singh Says Yuvraj Deserves To Be The Captain, Accuses MS Dhoni Of Rayudu’s Retirement

Anger towards MS Dhoni is embedded deep inside Yograj Singh’s heart, which very frequently comes out in public. Yuvraj Singh’s father and former cricketer, Yograj recently blamed Dhoni for Ambati Rayudu’s retirement. He also said that Yuvraj was the one who deserved to be captain of the team and not Dhoni.

Overlooking all the achievements of Dhoni accused him of sidelining several cricketers for his selfishness. Comparing Yuvraj to Dhoni, he said, “Yuvraj had the right to become the captain but you gave it to someone else who came to the team much later.”

The 61-year-old also took a jibe at the selectors along with Dhoni for not selecting Rayudu to play in this world cup, which led him to take early retirement.

Ambati Rayudu announced his retirement from all kinds of cricket format recently. Rayudu was not happy with the BCCI for choosing new budding players over him to play in the ongoing ICC world cup. Even after two exits due to injuries, BCCI didn’t even consider him for the team and chose Mayank Agarwal over him. Mayank has never played a single ODI in his career yet.

Yograj was saddened by Rayudu’s retirement and urged him to come out of it and keep playing. He said, “Rayudu should’ve continued playing, more and more. He should’ve played Ranji Trophy, Irani Trophy, Duleep Trophy, scoring 100s, 200s, 300s with no outs. He still has a lot of cricket left in him.”

Former cricketer who was a right-arm leg-spin bowler of the Indian team was seen posting a photo of him traveling to London for the World Cup, needless to say, we feel sorry for him. India is battling New Zealand currently and boy we are in trouble. As rain interrupted the match yesterday, the match continued its way today. Twitter Flooded With Memes After Virat, Rohit & Rahul Got Out At 5/3 In IndVsNZ

The first semi-final of cricket World Cup 2019 between India and New Zealand started yesterday but unfortunately, it was stopped due to rains. The match got resumed today as it is the reserve day and New Zealand managed to put up a score of 239/8 in the stipulated 50 overs.

The Indian cricket fans were quite excited today as the target given by New Zealand is certainly an easy one for team India considering the top form of Indian batsmen, especially Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. However, things turned ugly when Indian opener Rohit Sharma got out for just 1 run and he was soon followed by Indian skipper Virat Kohli who also scored only 1 run. Situation deteriorated further when K L Rahul also departed and India’s score was 5 at the loss of 3 wickets.

There was an environment of panic among the Indian fans and some took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to express their opinions. Some online users are desperately missing the Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan who has been ruled out of the World Cup due to an injury while several others are hoping that former Indian skipper M S Dhoni will do wonders today and few are requesting rain to arrive on the field.

From Now Onwards You Need To Pay Rs. 23,000 For Illegal Parking In Mumbai

Monsoon has finally arrived in Mumbai. The citizens are concerned about the traffic which becomes worst during the rainy season. At times roads get blocked due to unwanted parking on the streets. Well, from now on parking your cars is set to get more difficult rather than driving.

The BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Mumbai Traffic Police implemented new traffic rules and has started levying fines up to 23,000 from Sunday. The fine includes towing charges for parking within 15 meter of 20 authorized parking lots it’ll cost you Rs. 5000 for two-wheelers and Rs.15,000 for heavy vehicles. There is also a penalty for late payment and it can hike up to Rs. 23,500.

A BMC official on Sunday said the main objective of the new rules for vehicles parked in a no-parking zone is to curb unauthorised parking outside designed parking lots. He further said BMC has hired ex-serviceman to assist the traffic police.

The citizens are definitely not pleased with the decision taken by Asia’s richest municipal corporation. Seems like rich people are going to get richer. If there is a lack of place for parking cars being the municipal corporation you should build more parking lots for the citizens rather than charging a hefty amount from the people for parking.

Desi Twitter is lashing out at the decision made by BMC:
