Sehwag Asks Twitter If DLS Method Works For Office Employees In Rains. Responses Are Hilarious

There is no denying the fact that former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has a great sense of humour and his wittiness is often visible in his posts on social media networks, especially on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Many cricket lovers are not happy with the manner in which the matches of cricket World Cup 2019 have been hampered due to rains. The first semi-final which was played between India and New Zealand was also stopped due to rain with New Zealand batting first and scoring 211/5 in 46.1 overs. The match will resume on the reserve day but if the rain still spoils the match, Duckworth-Lewis method will come into play. As per DLS method, the target will be revised for India if they will be able to bat in the match.

Viru took a funny dig at DLS method by asking people whether it will be helpful for the employees in increasing their salary in the rainy season as they face problems in reaching office during rains. He specifically asked the opinion of Human Resources staff about it.

Here is what Sehwag tweeted,

“Will it be advantage employees if Salary is given by Duckworth Lewis in rainy months. If baarish mein bhi employee is coming to office. What do HR log think?”

Check out the tweet:

Soon, the reactions started pouring in and here are some of the selected ones:

Till the time the article was written, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and K L Rahul were on the crease as New Zealand has given a target of 240 to India. Let’s cross our fingers and pray that rain doesn’t spoil today’s match.

Michael Vaughan Again Trolls Sanjay Manjrekar, Asks To Unblock Him On Twitter With A Funny Meme

Former Indian cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar is one of the most controversial commentators and he has a pretty good track record of getting trolled on the social media networks. Recently, he was in the news for calling Indian player Ravindra Jadeja a bits and pieces cricketer. Manjrekar stated that he would have preferred a batsman and a spinner rather than having Jadeja in the team.

Ravindra Jadeja didn’t take it lightly and slammed Manjrekar on micro-blogging site Twitter, stating that he had enough of Manjrekar’s verbal diarrhoea. This is what Jadeja tweeted,

“Still I have played twice the number of matches you have played and I m still playing. Learn to respect people who have achieved. I have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea. @sanjaymanjrekar”

Twitter users were also not happy with Manjrekar and he was trolled for it. Now even English cricketer Michael Vaughan has taken a jibe at Manjrekar with regard to his comment on Jadeja.

Jadeja performed well in the match against Sri Lanka and it made Manjrekar include him in the team that he predicted for the semi-final match against New Zealand. However, he removed Jadeja’s name in the final list of his team for the semi-finals.

What made things more difficult for Manjrekar was Jadeja’s good performance in the semi-final match against New Zealand. Not only the fans of Jadeja trolled Manjrekar but Michael Vaughan also didn’t miss the chance of making fun of Manjrekar.

Vaughan tweeted,

“Bloody hell Bits & Piece can Spin it …. #CWC19”

Manjrekar was not at all happy with Michael Vaughan trolling him and the former blocked his English counterpart.

Now, Michael has requested Manjrekar to unblock him using this funny meme:

Just to inform, few days ago, Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal was seen sitting in style outside the ground during the match against Sri Lanka and this photo became a material for memes.

Here is the caption which Michael wrote with the meme, “Come on Sanjay unblock me on Twitter … It’s only Bantz … !!!! #India”

Let us wait and see how Manjrekar will react to this. Will he show some sense of humour by unblocking Michael? What do you think? Let us know your views.

Kubbra Sait AKA Kuckoo From Sacred Games, Takes A Dig At Kabir Singh’s Director’s ‘Slap’ Comment

Kabir Singh has been the talk of this Bollywood season. The Arjun Reddy remake was termed ‘ filled with toxic masculinity’ and ‘misogynic’. While a lot of people enjoyed the movie, some people had sheer hatred towards the movie. The film still crossed the 200-crore group and ruled the box office for some time.

People had polar opinions about the movie, but things took a bad turn for the movie when director, Sandeep Vanga went on record and said,

“When you are deeply in love and deeply connected to a woman (and vice versa), if you don’t have the liberty of slapping each other, then I don’t see anything there.”

People were shocked by this comment and the director got heavily criticized for this comment. A lot of women were upset by this weird comment and took to various social media platforms to share their displease. Among them was Kubbra Sait. Kubbra Sait has been known in the industry for voicing her opinions and breaking the ‘norms’.

In a slow-mo video by Kubbra and Goldie Behl, they made fun of Sandeep Vanga in a sarcastic way! They made a video in which both are seen wearing oven mitts and slapping each other because you know this is how you show ‘love’.

The video is hilarious! Kubbra was also seen practicing some ‘self-love’.

Hate or love the movie, you can’t hate Kubbra for her witty attitude!

£600 Aircraft Banner Flew Over Headingley Ground, Police Says Can’t Stop Aerial Messages

An aircraft with a large banner trailing in the sky flew over the Headingley cricket ground in Leeds cost £600. The message on the banner read “End mob lynching in India“. It is not the first time, something like this has happened during the world cup.

Messages like this have been whizzing over the ground since the last two world cups. These messages are mostly political, against India and Pakistan, like “Justice for Kashmir” and “Justice for Balochistan”. But sometimes they are personal like “Marry Me” or “Love cricket, Love Mumtaz, Leeds”.

These political messages have come under the attention of BCCI and ICC also and the former send a written complaint to the latter. A spokesman of PrivateFly, the company which rents private jets, says that technically and legally it is not wrong to fly over regions that are not no-fly zones. And since Leeds is not a no-fly zone anyone can rent a jet and fly over it with or without a placard. Even Chief Superintendent Steve Cotter, Leeds District commander said that they have no power over these aerial messages.

He further stated that in a democratic society people have the legal right to protest, and a balance always needs to be struck between that right and the rights and freedoms of others to go about their lawful business. These political messages being free speech, did not establish any criminal offense.
