A UK based old man did the same when he gifted a weed cake to hospital staff by mistake.
The old man who got discharged from the Warrington hospital recently wanted to thank the staff and that’s why he got’em a leftover cake from his grandson’s 18th birthday celebrations. But little did he know that it was infused with weed. And guess what happened later?
Needless to say, the nurses were high as soon as they ate the cake. According to the reports of an international portal, a staff member revealed there were 3-4 nurses who felt relaxed after having the cake. She even revealed that there was no impact on patients but soon the police was called. After investigation, the police confirmed that the cake had cannabis. However, considering it an error they decided to not take it any further.

In his latest interview with Anupama Chopra, director Sandeep Vanga slams the critics for criticizing Kabir Singh. He said that there is no reason to compare the two movies Sanju by Ranbir Kapoor and Kabir Singh.
He said,
‘Sanju where is my mangalsutra?’ What happens after that, you can talk volumes about it. Everybody loved it. When he says he slept with 300-odd women, we were all cheering and whistling in the theatre. She slapped him without a reason, at least Kabir had a reason to slap her. If you can’t slap, if you can’t touch your woman wherever you want, if you can’t kiss, I don’t see emotion there.”
Kabir Singh has officially entered the 200-club and has set new expectations from Shahid Kapoor.

The league matches of ICC WORLD CUP finally comes to an end. On Saturday South Africa played against Australia and they beat Australia by 10 runs in the final league game of the tournament in Old Trafford.
South Africa spoiled Australia’s semi-final plans and send them into the semi-final against England in Birmingham. India to play New Zealand in Manchester on Tuesday. Imran Tahir, Faf Du Plessis and JP Duminy were the stars of the night.
South Africa scored 325 runs off 50 overs and Australia was all down with 315 runs. Twitter was busy lauding the victory of South Africa and the strong fight put by Australia. Lately, former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar who has been under the limelight throughout the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 for his biased commentary. It is no news that Rohit Sharma is very savage, he speaks what comes into his mind and quite openly. A few days back a video of him surfaced online where he was asked to give batting advice to Pakistan’s team and his reply? He subtly asked the reporter that he is not their coach that the will give them guidance and smirked!
Yesterday itself he scored another ton against Sri Lanka in the ongoing World Cup 2019, his 5th in the series. Rohit became one of the few batsmen to achieve that. Later in the press conference, reporters chit-chatted their way to Rohit and he was as witty as ever. Rohit was asked to comment on Dhoni’s birthday (which is today) and he was clueless for a moment. He later said,” Happy Birthday hi bolte hai na, aur kya bolte hai?”

After the frustrating Copa America ending Lionel Messi lashed out at Copa America after yesterday’s match against Chile and the star footballer even boycotted the medal ceremony to protest against corruption and refereeing. Messi claimed Argentina has not been treated properly in the league.
Following Argentina’s 2-1 victory over Chile in which Messi had a sudden end to this year’s tournament by being sent off in the third place. Lionel Messi received a red card in the first half after a physical incident with Chile’s midfielder Gary Medel. Gary was also ejected.
Messi refused to come out of the locker room to receive the third place medal to protest the referring. After the match, Lionel Messi said some harsh words against Copa America. He said, we shouldn’t take part in this corruption”. He believes the tournament was set up for the host Brazil to win.
Messi further told to the media, There was a lack of respect towards us (Argentina) during this Copa America. We could have done better, but they didn’t let us make it to the final. Corruption and the referees are not letting the fans enjoy football. This is ruining football.
Messi also expressed his anger said, I feel a lot of anger because I think I did not deserve the red card because I believe we were playing a good game. A yellow card should have been enough for both players.
Leo said he expects Brazil to win Sunday’s final against Peru claiming the league was already set up for the host’s victory. When Messi was asked by the media does he fear being suspended for his comments, the little magician said Maybe what I said last time played a part today and the truth needed to be told.

On Sunday, the Board for Cricket Council in India filed a written complaint to the International Cricket Council (ICC) about the aircraft that was flying over the Headingley cricket stadium during India’s match against Sri Lanka at Leeds.
BCCI expressed their concern regarding the security of the Indian team and asked ICC that no such incident should take place in the near future.
During team India’s match against Sri Lanka at Leeds on Saturday, an aircraft was flying over the Headingley cricket stadium, Leeds with a banner on its back reading “Justice for Kashmir” . Again after half an hour a similar aircraft again flew over the stadium with a banner reading “India Stop Genocide, Free Kashmir”.
Later again another aircraft flew over the stadium with a banner reading “Help End Mob Lynching”.
A senior official of BCCI confirmed that the board has filed a written complaint, he said, This is absolutely unacceptable. We have written to the ICC, expressing our concern about what happened in Headingley on Saturday. If this kind of incident is repeated in the semi-finals, it will be really unfortunate. Safety and security of our players are paramount.
ICC then issued a statement about the matter saying it is incredibly disappointing that this has happened again. They said in a statement, We do not condone any sort of political messages at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
They further added, during the tournament, we have worked with local police forces around England and Wales to prevent this type of protest occurring. After the previous incident, we were assured by West Yorkshire Police there would not be a repeat of this issue, so we are very disappointed it has happened again.
