A lesbian couple from Varanasi, who are distant cousins fell in love with each other and decided to get married. Despite their parents’ disapproval they went to the temple and got married. This might just be the first same-sex marriage in Varanasi.

Varanasi is considered one of the holiest places in India and this might have come as a shock to a lot of people. When the couple went to the temple, the priest refused to perform the ceremony. But the couple who were dressed casually in jeans with a red chunni covering their heads refused to leave. The priest gave in and performed the ceremony.

The couple later took a picture and posted it on social media, which caused havoc. They escaped the scene when the crowd gathered. The priest has also criticized them for doing it.

Today Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented Bharatiya Janta Party’s first Budget in the second term in the form of Bahi Kaata (account ledger). Government launch new travel schemes.

1. Govt plans to become a $3 trillion economy in FY20 and also $5 trillion in coming years.

2. Government plans to build Manufacturing, Repair and Operate (MR0) Industries.

3. Prosperous Changes to be taken place to start foreign and domestic investments.

4. No changes have been made in personal income tax.

5. Government hikes customs duty on fuel, gold etc. Petrol and Diesel to get pricier.

6. Direct Tax Revenue has increased by straight 78%.

7. There will be interchangeability of PAN card and Adhar card for ITR who don’t have their Adhar cards.

8. The annual turnover limit for 25% corporate tax has been raised from Rs. 250 crore to 400 crores.

9. On home loans additional Rs. 1.5 lakh has been deducted.

10. A new series of coins of Re 1, 2,5, 10 and 20 will be released by the government for the people.

11. Government is going to set up a digital repository to preserve our tribal heritage.

12. Government has promised to widely invest in Agriculture sector.

13. Government is set to allocate Rs. 400 crore for the world-class higher education institutions in FY20. New national educational policy to propose changes in schools and colleges.

14. The prime focus for the government in Rural India is Gaon, Garib and Kisan.

15. National transport card to be introduced for universal travel which can be used on road and railway mode of transport. Inter Operable one nation and one card.

In the matches against England and Bangladesh, Dhoni was seen with the bat which had SG logo on it. By the end he was again seen changing bats when more aggressive shots were required he asked for a bat that had BAS logo on it.

In an interview with Mumbai mirror, his manager said that he is not charging the brands for this. He is only doing this because he wants to pay gratitude to the brands for supporting him.

Currently Dhoni does not have a brand sponsor, usually, cricketers charge up to 4-5 crores for it.

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has been named in a cheating case filed against a fitness center. Roshan is the brand ambassador of the fitness chain named Cult.Fit fitness center. A man filed a case against the center alleging the company made “false promises” in the advertisement which were never fulfilled.

The city-based complainant accused the company of not giving daily work out sessions even after paying the full fee for “unlimited” classes. The company, on the other hand, defended itself by saying that the customer behaved “inappropriately and violently” with its staff and has “wrongly” pulled Hrithik into the issue.

The man filed an FIR on June 22 and stated that he enrolled himself in the fitness center in November 2018 and paid ₹17,490 for a membership of 10 months, unlimited classes. He said that he was “cheated by not getting workout sessions daily.”

He said, “Most of the time the workout session is not available which is denying good health benefits causing mental depression.”

The case is registered under IPC sections 420 (cheating) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) against the actor as he is the brand ambassador of the chain.

The center is co-operating with the authorities and accused the complainant of misbehaving with the staff.
