Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi Resigns From His Position

Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday resigned from the position of the Congress Chief. Rahul Gandhi took to his Twitter handle to share the news with the nation in an open letter. The letter focused on the factors of his loss and the betterment for the party.

The former Congress Chief said It is an honour for me to serve the Congress Party, whose values and ideals have served as the lifeblood of our beautiful nation. I owe the country and my organisation a debt of tremendous gratitude and love.

Rahul took full responsibility for the loss of Congress in the Lok Sabha election 2019. Rahul Gandhi also said as president of the Congress party, I am responsible for the loss of the 2019 election. Accountability is critical for the future growth of our party. It is for this reason that I have resigned as Congress president.

Rahul Gandhi further added, rebuilding the party would need hard decisions and “numerous people will have to be made accountable for the failure of 2019” but it would be unjust to hold others accountable and “ignore” his own responsibility.

The Prime Minister’s win does not negate the breadth of corruption allegations against him, no amount of money and propaganda can ever hide the light of the truth. My fight has never been a simple battle for political power. I have no hatred or anger towards the BJP but every living cell in my body instinctively resists their idea of India.

Rahul Gandhi wrote in the letter of his resignation. It is an honour for me to serve the Congress Party, whose values and ideals have served as the lifeblood of our beautiful nation. I owe the country and my organisation a debt of tremendous gratitude and love.

After Rahul Gandhi’s resignation from the position of the party chief, there has been a mass resignation in Congress across the country. Rahul Gandhi has asked the party to search for a new president.

5 Reasons Why One Day Looks Like A Sequel Of A Wednesday

Words are going to fall short to describe how brilliantly A Wednesday was helmed by Neeraj Pandey. As it’s rightly said: It’s impossible to suppress a good film. A Wednesday stars the majestic duo Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher.

Back in 2008 nobody knew Neeraj Pandey but this movie made Neeraj Pandey the man he is today and he deserves all the recognition from around the globe. This movie’s greatness lies in doing simple things so perfectly.

This Friday an action thriller filmOne Day: Justice Delivered is set to hit the theatres on 6th June. One Day is an action thriller helmed by Ashok Nanda starring Anupam Kher, Esha Gupta and Kumund Mishra. The movie focuses on the investigation and strategies followed by a crime branch special officer to solve the mystery of missing high profile persons.

5 Reasons Why One Day Looks Like A Sequel Of A Wednesday:

1. Not A Layered Film
There is nothing outrageously complicated or layered in the film, neither there is some out-of-the-box idea but the execution of it all is where the film’s real appeal is. However, A Wednesday is also a simple movie with an amazing plot and twist.

2.Unpredictable Twists
One Day has a crisp storyline and the movie has several twist and turns which is going to leave the audience in awe. Just like how Wednesday left an impact on the audience.

3. Both involve strong leads
The star cast of both the movie is very strong. Anupam Kher is a relevant face in both movies. Esha Gupta plays a vital role in the movie along with Kumud Mishra, Zarina Wahab. A Wednesday had brilliant actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher in the lead role.

4. Both have the story of a commoner for a change
One day raises a question that how far we can go to fight against the unfair judgement and breaking the law for the fair justice is right or not. Whereas in A Wednesday a commoner informed the police officer about a bomb scare.

5. Action thriller
Both the movies are definitely not your average action thriller. In fact, it comes loaded with a very solid ideology – there’s more to this film than just action.

Watch the trailer of One Day, if you haven’t watched it yet!

See India’s Rank In World’s Most Powerful Passports Ranking

Recently the Henley Passport Index 2019 ranking was issued. Asian countries dominate the rankings with Japan and Singapore holding on to the top spot with a score of 189 after they removed Germany from the first position in the year 2018.

The latest Henley Passport Index includes 199 passports and 227 travel destinations including microstates and territories. Indian Passport has been given the rank of 86th position with a mobility score of 58. The score means that Indian passport holders can travel to 58 countries without any prior Visa.

India shares the 86th position with Mauritania, Sao Tome and Principe. India has improved from the previous position of January 2019.

The first place is shared by Japan and Singapore last quarter. South Korea now holds the second position on the index along with Finland and Germany. The citizens of South Korea, Finland and Germany can travel to 187 destinations without any prior Visa.

Dr Christian H Kaelin, the Chairman of Henley & Partners and the creator of the passport index concept, in an official statement said, With a few notable exceptions, the latest rankings from the Henley Passport Index show that countries around the world increasingly view visa openness as crucial to economic and social progress. Reviews of passport power and global mobility tend to focus on the benefits for the countries with the strongest passports. However, this latest unique research appears to confirm something that many of us already knew intuitively: that increased visa-openness benefits the entire global community, and not just the strongest countries.

As per the official statement, with a visa-free/visa-on-arrival score of 183, the UK and the US now share the sixth place – the lowest position either country has held since 2010, and a significant drop from their first place spot in 2014.

The position is shared with Belgium, Canada, Greece, Ireland, and Norway. Denmark, Italy, and Luxembourg are on the third rank. France has dropped down to the fourth spot, now it shares the position with Spain and Sweden.

United Arab Emarites (UAE) for the first time entered the top 20 slots with a “record-breaking 41 places over the past decade”.
