Bold and beautiful Bollywood singer Sona Mohapatra is a typical feminist. She just can’t stand anything which is against women or their rights. That is why she became furious when Shahid Kapoor’s fans came in defense of his last released film Kabir Singh. While people are going crazy over Shahid’s hatke look and acting, there are some who are pouring in negative comments calling the movie anti-women. Sona Mohapatra is one of the negative reviewers.
Recently she took to Twitter and shared her views about the film. Shahid’s die-hard fans did not take it well and started slamming the singer online. Now Sona is not the type of person who just lets it go. She came back with a befitting reply to the defenders of Kabir Singh.
To one of the troller, she replied, “Here is another runt trying to bring me down for criticizing a film character/narrative that I didn’t like. I have no issues singing ‘Bhojpuri’ songs btw. I start some shows with poetry written by the brilliant Bhikhari Thakur.”
While to another she wrote, “U are the nth moron trying to make such a false equivalence. A woman singing lustily & celebrating her own sexuality isn’t likely to cause violence & isn’t the same thing as a man grabbing a woman without her consent, kissing her apart from several other such toxic masculine acts.”
Well, these were Sona’s personal views and one has the right to free speech in India.

India has won ICC Champions Trophy twice till date, in 2002 and 2013. Indian cricket team shared the 2002 Champions Trophy with Sri Lanka but in 2013, the team defeated England in the finals. The 2013 win was a turning point in Rohit Sharma’s career and he was upgraded to an opener with Shikhar Dhawan. Since then they had made and broken several records in cricket and went on to become ravishing openers of all times.
Rohit has made three double centuries in ODI cricket and four centuries in T20 cricket since he became an opener. He is one of the best top order batsmen. Sharma recently shared a throwback picture from 2013. Rohit and squad, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, were seen holding the champions trophy. But Rohit made a small mistake and captioned the pic wrong.
He wrote, “These are some memories you cherish for long” and added a hashtag #ChampionsTrophy2017.
In 2017, under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, team India reached finals but lost the match to Pakistan by 180 runs. However, realizing his mistake he later deleted his tweet.
Here is the tweet which he removed later.
But the tweet had already caught twitterians’ attention and people started trolling him for his silly mistake. Many corrected him, some made fun of him while some criticized him for making them remember the unfortunate day and defeat against Pakistan.

Who can forget India vs Afghanistan’s match that took place recently, India won by 11 runs but Afghanistan gave a really tough fight to our Men in Blue. The Afghans were absolutely excellent in their play against India and lost the game by a very thin margin. Though they were defeated, their confidence would be high after the stellar show while facing Virat Kohli’s men.
In the meantime, ahead of Afghanistan’s next match with Bangladesh’s team, the skipper of Afghan team Gulbadin Naib had some cheeky words for the Tigers. “Hum to dube hai sanam, tumko lekar dubenge (We are already drowning darling, but we’ll take you with us),” Naib said in the pre-match press conference.
The 28-year-old has been impressive in the tournament. After a few poor shows, he promoted himself up to the batting order and the decision was in his favor. Afghanistan and Bangladesh have faced each other only seven times in the ODI format. Their first match goes way back to March 2014 during the Asia Cup. Bangladesh has a 4-3 lead over its opponent Afghanistan.

India is unstoppable till now in the World Cup 2019, with a perfect victory score, India will now be battling West Indies on the 27th of June. And well, bring it on. India won against Pakistan, India defeated Afghanistan by 11 runs. Afghanistan did give us a tough time though. With K L Rahul and Rohit Sharma’s loss at the very early stage of the match, Bumrah bowling and Shami’s hattrick saved our match. And it was an amazing win for us!
India is still undefeated and we hope this goes on for all the matches in the future. We won the match but Afghanistan’s team won hearts. They were thoroughly appreciated for their efforts on all social platforms and well they did deserve it. After defeating Pakistan, Afghanistan now it’s West Indies turn.

Sandeep Reddy Vagga’s film Kabir Singh completed its first weekend in the theaters and as expected passed its first test with flying colors. Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer crossed ₹70 crores at the box office in just three days and has emerged as the biggest *non-holiday* opener of 2019.
Kabir Singh has surpassed the first-weekend collection of one of the highest earning movies of 2019, Total Dhamaal by almost ₹10 crores. And Kabir Singh was released on much fewer screens than Total Dhamaal.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared three days box office figures of the film on Twitter and wrote, “A remarkable feat since #KabirSingh was released on 3123 screens. India biz.”
The film which opened to positive reviews and packed theaters, earning ₹20.21 crores on its releasing day, witnessed growth on the second day. Kabir Singh collected ₹22.71 crores on Saturday. It had a much better collection on Sunday of ₹27.91 crores.
Kabir Singh first day collection surpassed Gully Boy opening day earning and it has become the biggest non-holiday opener of 2019. It is also the fourth biggest opener of this year after Bharat, Kalank, and Kesari.

Don, Don 2 were legendary movies that highlighted yet another glam life in Bollywood. The powerful play of the character, the dialogues and of course two super great actors Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. These movies marked a special milestone in the Indian cinema and in our hearts too. There were a lot of rumors floating in the air about Don 3 for a very long time now, but it is now confirmed that it won’t be happening.
The makers of the sequelRitesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment, have neither confirmed nor denied whether or not the third movie will be made. A source from industry said,
“These stories about this and the other actors taking over the Don baton are so out of line. Farhan Akhtar (also the director of the Don series) has no script, not even an idea for a plot to do another film. He’s busy with his acting and music career. He hasn’t directed any film for the last nine years. His last directorial was Don 2 in 2011. It looks like the Don series is dead.”
Another close friend of Farhan had a very similar opinion. They said,
“I don’t see any inclination in Farhan to direct a film at this point of his life. Right now he’s busy prepping for the role of his lifetime as a boxer in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Toofan. That will keep him busy this year and most of 2020. Before that, he has just completed another acting role in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink. Where do you see direction fitting into his schedule?”
Though Shahrukh will be seen in a movie soon which one is not confirmed yet.
