Major Train Accident Averted On Mumbai-Pune Route Due To CCTV Cameras

A CCTV camera turned out to be a blessing in disguise when an accident was averted on the railway line between Mumbai and Pune due to it. The Indian Railways has been taking appropriate precautions since monsoon is approaching.

The Mumbai-Kolhapur Sahyadri Express was reaching Lonavala when a boulder fell on the tracks at around 8:15 PM. Thankfully the incident was caught on the CCTV camera installed in the Monkey Hill area in the Bhor Ghat of the railway line.

But the staff who were watching over the CCTV footage sprang into action and alerted the authorities of a landslide. They also cut off the power line to halt all the scheduled trains of the route.

Railway Ministry spokesperson Smita Vats Sharma, “A major accident was averted after cameras and communication systems installed in the Mumbai-Pune Bhor Ghat mountain section of Central Railway alerted the authorities of a landslide on the rail tracks on Thursday night at Monkey Hill near Lonavala.”

Suspended Gorakhpur Doctor Accuses Yogi Government Of Not Paying His Dues

Suspended Gorakhpur doctor of Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College, Kafeel Khan has accused Uttar Pradesh government of not clearing his dues. Khan was suspended from his duty after the death of 60 infants at the Medical College in Gorakhpur, in August 2017.

Khan took to Twitter to allege Yogi government of not paying his dues nor revoking his suspension. He wrote, “In spite of a High Court and a Supreme Court order, Yogi Adityanath is neither paying my dues nor revoking my suspension.”

He requested the Indian Medical Association (IMA) to issue a statement for him also. The IMA is protesting against the violence that junior doctors are facing in West Bengal.

“I am also from your fraternity. I also have a family to feed,” he added in the tweet.

In his tweet, Khan also attached a copy of the letter written to Ashutosh Tandon, UP’s Health Minister. In the letter, he has requested him to pay his suspension allowance.

Allahabad High Court had earlier granted him bail due to lack of evidence against him.

Regarding his suspension and allowance, the Supreme Court denied interfering in the matter but ordered him payment according to the law.

Everyone is aware of the bad weather that is going in London right now. Due to the rain, a lot of matches have been canceled. Our Men in Blue are currently battling Pakistan right now after they were sent to bat by the Pakistani Captian. And we are all relieved that it is not raining today.

Ravi Ashwin who is currently India’s Test specialist tweeted about the weather conditions. He wrote in the tweet, ” Two things that I clearly understand about todays #indvspak2019 world cup clash:
1. The weather is a talking point and hence 👇
2. A great Time for @LeoDiCaprio to drive it into people this side of the world that climate change is real and we should do something about.”

The tweet was mindful and talked concerns about the match. To which a Twitter user replied,” Chutiya mat kaat…ghar pe behet aur so jaa…tere liye CT Final haar gaya tha.”

People were angry with the way this user used abusive language and a lot of people supported the cricketer. But Ashwin won hearts when he shut down the troller politely by saying, ” Your Engineering batch dint have an ethics paper?? “Oh sorry may be how to talk is taught at home.”

Ravi Ashwin sure gave this man a lesson.
