This Monday Yuvraj Singh called for a press conference and he announced that he will be retiring from international cricket. This came as a piece of sad news to his fans and also from people all over the world. As people showered him with love and blessings, Amul too joined in to pay tribute for his excellence.

The small state of Goa is known for its beaches and amazing nightlife. It has several big and small villages, among which there is a village that no longer exists. The village only appears for a month every year.
According to a BBC report, the village of Curdi remains underwater for 11 months and appear when water level decreases in May. The old residents of the village gather to celebrate their homes when it appears every year.
The village of Curdi was situated on the banks of Salaulim river between two hills in the Western Ghats. But after state’s first dam was built here in 1986, the village ceased to exist as it gradually submerged into the water.
As per reports, in 1961 when Goa was liberated from the Portuguese, the first CM of Goa Dayanand Bandodkar visited the village. He announced the construction of the dam and assured everyone that it will benefit all of southern Goa.
About 600 families were forced to vacate their homes in exchange for land and compensation. The village was home to about 3000 people, who relocated to nearby villages.
When the village appears once a year it reveals the leftover of a civilization. One can see remaining of houses, religious structures, broken household items, and ruined water canals. People used to do agriculture in the paddy fields which was once very fertile.

Singer Adnan Sami faced a similar thing even his account got hacked and his picture was also replaced with Imran Khan’s picture.
The account was hacked by Turkish hackers who seem to be pro-Pakistan. They also changed his cover and bio. His bio read, ” Ayyıldız Tim Love Pakistan”. The hacker is the same who hacked Amitabh Bachchan’s account earlier. The pinned tweet in Adnan’s account read,” Whoever shows the courage to betrayal our brother country Pakistan know that you will see Pakistan’s prime ministers photo and Pakistan flag as profile picture. Ayyildiz tim @ImranKhanPTI.”
There are a lot of similarities between the Turkish cyber group who hacked Amitabh Bachchan’s account earlier.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli made it to the list of world’s 100 highest-paid athletes in Forbes 2019. Kohli stands on the last place and he is the only Indian and only cricketer on the list. Forbes released its annual sports rich list on Monday.
According to the Forbes list, Virat Kohli made USD 25 million by salary and advertisement deals last year. Out of $25 million, $21 million came through brand endorsement while he got $4 million as salary.
Barcelona and Argentina footballer Lionel Messi tops the list with USD 127 million earning via salary and ad deals. Surpassing retired boxer Floyd Mayweather, Messi has become world’s highest paid athlete this year.
Portuguese professional footballer and Messi’s biggest rival Cristiano Ronaldo stands second on the list with earnings of USD 109 million.
With Brazilian footballer Neymar on the third position, the top three places have been taken by three best footballers of the world.
Golfer Tiger Woods, who was once the number one, now stands 11th on the list with $69.3 million.
Tennis superstar Serena Williams is the only woman on the list and she takes the 63rd position, with incomes of $29.2 million.
