Indian skipper Virat Kohli is looking forward to becoming the third captain after Kapil Dev and Mahendra Singh Dhoni to lift the grand World Cup. He is in England with team blue for ICC World Cup 2019. India played its first match of the championship against South Africa and won.
Although the whole nation is with Virat and his team, his school in New Delhi has decided to send him blessings in a very unique way. Host broadcasters Star Sports tweeted, “The soil from @imVkohli’s school, where he learned to play cricket, is going to London to bless him (sic.),” on Friday.
Kohli completed his schooling till 9th standard from Vishal Bharti Public School in Uttam Nagar, Delhi. He joined West Delhi Cricket Academy when he was in Vishal Bharti. Kohli has spent some very memorable early years on his life in this school so it is very close to his heart.
India will play its second match against Australia on Sunday, 9th June. With most of the players in their forms and last win had increased Indians’ hopes and everyone wishes them “All The Best”.

South Africa is terribly struggling in the World Cup and it is considered to be their worst performance since their World Cup debut in 1992. Shoaib Akhtar criticised the timing of the big news flash and believes it was done to grasp attention as South Africa is failing to fight it out in the World Cup.
Shoaib Akhtar said South Africa was in poor form even when Villiers had announced his retirement in May 2018 before the World Cup. But I think he should have remembered that his country needs him.
He further added Firstly, people must not forget that there was pressure on AB De Villiers to leave IPL and PSL contracts and make himself available for the World Cup. However, he chose the IPL and PSL, announced an early retirement.
In the video, Shoaib Akhtar also said, So basically everything started with finance. I think when he took this decision, he did it looking at his finances and economics. The money will come today or tomorrow but AB de Villiers made the call of making money and to ignore the World Cup.

Indian cricket team played its first match of this ICC world cup on June 5 against South Africa. India won the match, South African bowlers missed some very easy catches, Rohit Sharma broke into an impromptu dance of the field but MS Dhoni’s gloves grabbed more attention than anything during the whole match. His gloves created a lot of controversies because an army logo was spotted on it.
A lot of questions were raised on Dhoni’s gloves and ICC asked him to remove the logo. However, BCCI stood in support of Dhoni and requested ICC to reconsider the objections on his gloves, which ICC denied.

Another BJP leader landed into controversy after giving a disputed statement. Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Lal Saini said that Mughal emperor Akbar had once misbehaved with Bikaner queen Kiran Devi. His statement instantly triggered controversy and he was accused of creating tension in the society by Congress party.
Saini claimed that Akbar used to misbehave with women in his Meena Bazaar and he also claimed that he once tried to molest the queen of Bikaner.
He said that the whole world knows that Akbar organized “Meena Bazaars” only for women. In this market, no men were allowed but Akbar went there in disguise and committed “dushkarm” (wrongdoing).
He added that when Akbar misbehaved with the queen she put a sword to his neck and he had to beg for mercy.

Later Congress condemned Saini’s statement and Congress vice president Archana Sharma said that he is trying to create enmity in society by presenting distorted history.
