Women are big shoppers and we only have two weaknesses: jewelry and chocolates. These two things can cure any woman’s heart. This woman gave us goals or terrified men, yet to decide when she spent ₹26 Lakhs on chocolates!
What will you do if you were given ₹26 Lakhs just to spend? Zamira Hajiyeva wife of Azerbaijani banker decided to spend it on chocolates. You heard it right, on her shopping spree 140 crores approximately that stretched over a decade she spent ₹26 Lakhs approximately on chocolates at London’s luxury department store Harrods.
According to a report by News 18, she spent her money at Harrods’ gourmet Belgian chocolate outlet in Godiva. Apart from this she also spent ₹8 crores 82 lakhs approx at the Harrods toy department and 50 crores approx at the jewelry designers Boucheron and Cartier. ( whaaaaat?)
In a decade she almost spent an average of £1.6 million.
Apparently, this shopping spree landed her in trouble after the National Crime Agency (NCA) took a look at her expenditure. This also landed her husband in jail. The court is now questioning her about her shopping details.
