Paper Craft

The increasing population of the world is the leading cause of many problems like pollution and scarcity of water and other resources. But have you thought what will happen if someday half of the population disappears in just a blink? Just like half of the universe ceased to exist in a snap of Thanos’s fingers (Avengers: Infinity War).

The earth has about 7.7 million people breathing right now and what will happen if half of them disappear instantly and you are among the remaining half.

What will happen if you survive the mass wipeout while you lose half of your loved one, your mother or your father, your brother or your sister, your wife or your kids? How will you survive on this planet?

Well, honestly it will be the biggest trauma mankind will ever suffer, you will ever suffer. And if you look at the bigger picture here it is even scarier. Bollywood lyricist and poet, Javed Akhtar who is popular for speaking from his heart has found himself in trouble for his comments on Burqa ban controversy. After Sri Lanka announced burqa ban, Akhtar was asked to comment on it. Speaking about the issue he said that along with Burqa even Ghoonghat should be banned.

This statement by him has irked the Karni Sena and it has threatened the veteran lyricist now.

Karni Sena Maharashtra’s wing president, Jivan Singh Solanki through a video recording told a leading daily that Javed Akhtar should send an apology within three days or he will face the consequences.

He said that they will gouge out his eyes and pull out his tongue if he doesn’t apologise. He further added that they will enter his house and beat him.

Javed Akhtar had earlier clarified that his statement was misconstructed. He took Twitter and wrote-

Some people are trying to distort my statement . I have said that may be in Sri Lanka it is done for security reasons but actually it is required for women empowerment . covering the face should be stopped whether naqab or ghoonghat.
