Madurai High Court Lifts Ban On TikTok, Twitter Is Flooded With Memes

On 3rd April Madras High Court appealed for a ban of Chinese application TikTok, saying it encourages pornography and effects the child as the application is used by mostly teenagers.

After almost a month long legal battle Madurai High Court lifts the interim ban from Tik Tok India. TikTok nearly has 0.5 billion users and 119 million users from India.

The Chinese video creating application was removed from both the Google and Apple play store and the new users were banned from downloading the application.


On Wednesday 24th April, the Madurai High Court moved to lift the ban of the famous 15-sec video sharing application in India with the terms & condition of not allowing the users to post obscene videos. Hence a strict guideline has been set for the publication of the videos on the application.


ByteDance the parent company of TikTok in a statement said the company’s fight to stop the misuse of the platform has been acknowledged and said “The work is never done by our end. We are committed to continuously enhancing our safety features as a testament to our ongoing commitment to our users in India.”

After the court backtracked its own order and the ban was lifted. Netizens flooded with memes in Twitter as Tik Tok is not Banned anymore :

Ball Went Missing In KXIPvsRCB & Was Found In Umpire’s Pocket. Twitter Flooded With Funny Memes

The IPL 2019 is progressing towards the playoffs and every team is trying its best to confirm its seat in the knockout stages.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) seems to have got their winning touch as they defeated Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in yesterday’s match that was played at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium and registered their third straight win. Batting first, RCB put up a huge total 202/4 on the board with AB de Villiers scoring 82* and getting a good support from Marcus and Parthiv.

The visitors were not able to chase down the target and fell short by 17 runs. Many people are expressing their opinion on how R Ashwin threw his gloves in anger after getting dismissed and mocked by Virat. One more incident happened in the match which made everyone wonder as to what is happening in IPL this time.

After the 14th over of the RCB innings, timeout took place but after returning from timeout when KXIP bowler Ankit Rajpoot was unable to find the ball, he asked his teammates, captain and the umpires and surprisingly, nobody had a clue of the cricket ball.

The ground staff was called with a box of balls but then the recording was checked and it was found that on-field umpire Chettithody Shamshuddin was the one who had the ball before timeout. Soon, the umpire also realised that the ball was in his pocket.

Before the time out, Murugan Ashwin handed over the ball to on-field umpire Bruce Oxenford who then gave it to Chettithody Shamshuddin but the latter forgot it.

There is no denying the fact that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) is one of the most watched TV comedy shows. Its popularity can be ascertained with the fact that it’s among the longest running serials on Indian television.

Dayaben, wife of Jethalal Champaklal Gada, is a lead character of the show but actress Disha Vakani who portrays this role has been on leave for almost 2 years now. The makers have waited for quite long as they wanted Disha Vakani to end her maternity leave and join the cast but it seems that the audiences will get to see a new Dayaben.

Some time ago, Disha was given a month’s time by the makers to return on the show but she didn’t respond. In fact, it has been heard that her husband is demanding 200 percent hike in her salary and has also put a condition that she will work for 4-5 hours in a day and that too, only 15 days in a month.

The makers are in search for an actress to replace Disha and while there were rumours that Rashami Desai and Giaa Manek are getting considered for the role, the latest buzz is that Ami Trivedi has been finalised for playing Dayaben on screen.

However, when producer Asit Kumarr Modi was contacted and asked to comment on this matter, he denied finalising Ami Trivedi or any other actress so far and said they are still searching for the suitable person.

When TOI got in touch with the Papad Pol actress Ami, she said that she is not even contacted by the makers, leave aside getting finalised for the show. However, her family members and relatives think she should take up the role as they are of the opinion that she suits the character perfectly.

Well, it simply means that the search is still is on.

Alia Bhatt’s Silence Irritates Kangana’s Sister Rangoli & She Slammed Alia For Her Sob Story

If you thought that Kangana’s sister Rangoli would stop talking against the Bhatts after Alia Bhatt’s refusal to comment on the allegations put up by Rangoli on her family and making a declaration that she would remain silent, you were completely wrong.

Recently during an event when Alia was asked to comment on Rangoli Chandel’s accusations against Mahesh Bhatt and whatever Kangana has been saying about her, Alia refused to comment on it. She has made it clear that she doesn’t want to be dragged into this matter, adding that she just wants to work and become a better version of herself with every passing moment. She further says that that if she is like this, her family is ten times more mature and stronger than her. According to her, no one can stop anyone from speaking, so let them speak but she will remain silent and concentrate on her career only.

This reply has further annoyed Rangoli and she has slammed Alia in a series of tweets, asking her to keep this sob story to herself. Rangoli alleges that her Papa Jo (Karan Johar) has already made a lot of benefit with this sob story so she should now take a seat. She further accuses Alia of begging directors for roles and using connections to grab films from other people. Rangoli says that people are not idiots that they will be fooled with “Main Chup Rahungi” story as it looks quite fake and regressive while coming from a British citizen.

Here is Rangoli’s first tweet:

Inspirational Mother Needed Skin Transplant For Falling On Her Face On A Hot Curling Rod

Brittney Sullivan 32 years old mother of three beautiful kids from the Texas, United States Of America. Brittney needed skin grafts after falling on the face on a hot curling rod while doing her hair before going to work.

Sullivan works as a transaction coordinator. Brittney was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2013.

In January 2018 she had an epileptic fit while curling her hair in the washroom. Her 8-month-old daughter Makennah Reign then discovered her on the floor of the bathroom with her face down on the scorching hot curling tongs.

She suffered third-degree burns and needed six operations including a full skin transplant, but after coming to terms with her facial scars. She is sharing her story to show people beauty isn’t skin deep.

Brittney is an inspiration for all the beautiful girls who don’t feel confident in their own skin and her words are going to make you feel a lot confident about your own self.

When asked Sullivan said “I started the morning like any other morning. I was standing in my bathroom, curling my hair getting ready for work. The next thing I knew, I’d woken up in the hospital.’

She is extremely proud of her children for being the best lifesaver without panicking and she believes they behaved just the way they were trained to work during emergencies.

Her daughter Makennah, who was eight at the time, found her on the bathroom floor and immediately got in touch with her grandparents.
She said ‘my dad took the kids to school and my mum took me to the hospital. When I found out the extent of my injuries I cried and thought, ‘I’m never going to be beautiful.’

It took her a week to look at herself in the mirror. She would be lost cause a zillion things would cross her mind. The thoughts of her husband leaving her or her kids being afraid of her.

But her family has been amazing. Each one of them supports her through everything.

She was hospitalized for about 12 days went under the knife for 6 surgeries her right eyelid got burned cause of the curlers.

Brittney still uses her hair curler but with a lot of caution. Brittney started an online support group called ‘Beauty Within Brittney’ where she advises and inspires people to look beyond her scars.

“Once I finally saw myself in hospital, I just thought, ‘I’m tired of being insecure and so I’m going to be beautiful and show everyone the beauty within me.’
