Not Alia Bhatt But This Actress Was The First Choice Of Makers For The Role Of Roop In “Kalank”

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer “Kalank” has failed to impress audiences as the collections are sliding downward side and the feedback is also not very encouraging.

The hopes with this movie were quite high as it has brought back veteran actors Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit together on the big screen after a long time and also because the pair of Varun and Alia is considered as one of the most successful pairs of Bollywood. Other than these stars, the flick also features Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in important roles and hence, the big star-cast was undoubtedly one of the main charms that could attract movie buffs to theatres.

Despite the fact that “Kalank” has not been liked by the audiences much, actors are still getting appreciated for their performances. Alia Bhatt has also been praised for portraying the character of Roop but do you know that she was not the first choice of the makers?

Yes, you read it right! Not Alia but some other superhit actress of B-Town was preferred by the makers. Any guesses who?

Well, the makers approached Mastani of Bollywood Deepika Padukone initially for the role of Roop but she refused to play it.

The reason behind Deepika’s refusal is not known but if she had said ‘yes’, we would have seen Varun and Deepika together in any movie for the first time.

Presently, Deepika is busy in the shooting of her next movie “Chhapaak”. It is based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal and DeePee is playing the character of an acid attack survivor in the flick.

Taking into consideration the box-office condition of “Kalank”, it seems that Deepika has done the right thing by refusing to play Roop. What do you say?

Salman Khan Might Never Get Married Because Of This Reason

Salman Khan is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars of the Hindi film industry and the most eligible bachelor of the B-Town too; however, what puzzles everyone is the fact as to how he is still unmarried. The “Sultan” actor who is presently busy with the shooting of “Dabangg 3” has had many affairs and some of them were pretty serious as well but surprisingly, none of them materialised into marriage.

A source who is very close to the Khan family has thrown some light on this matter and has revealed that for Salman, his family is the most important. He feels that he won’t be able to give equal importance to the new family member as he gives to his family.

The “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” star doesn’t like to make a commitment to someone if he is not completely sure about the relationship and this is a reason because of which he is single till now.

The source further revealed that Salman was about to get married two times but he decided to forego his personal interest and thought about making his family stronger in financial terms. The source added that the two leading ladies with whom Salman was about to tie the knot were Somy Ali and Sangeeta Bijlani and even cards were printed both the times too.

Nevertheless, Salman was worried as to whether his partner would understand his selfless love for his family or not, so he called off the marriage both the times. Almost same situation was faced by him in early 2000s when he was about to marry Aishwarya Rai and few years ago, it again happened when Katrina Kaif came in his life.

The source also said that Salman may remain unmarried for whole life but we hope that he soon finds his soulmate and gets married. What do you say?

Rangoli Tells TLLL Foundation To Remove Deepika And Take Kangana As The Brand Ambassador

Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel is creating news these days for her comments on various Bollywood stars. After slamming Alia Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan and Ajay Devgn, she targetted Deepika Padukone and her foundation The Live Love Laugh Foundation.

It all started when TLLL quoted Kangana’s upcoming film Mental Hai Kya’s posters and suggested to not promote stereotypes.

It is time we put an end to the use of words, imagery and/or the portrayal of persons with mental illness in a way that reinforces stereotypes. (1/2)

Many millions who suffer with mental illness in India already face tremendous stigma. Therefore,it is extremely important to be responsible and sensitive towards the needs of those suffering. (2/2)

This rubbed Rangoli on the wrong side and she posted a series of tweets. In her tweets, she not just demanded TLLL to take Kangana as their brand ambassador but also asked to remove Deepika. She even said that Deepika was in the depression years ago due to her breakup and now she is happily married.

Sourav Ganguly Honoured By Australia As They Named A Beer After Him

Sourav Ganguly is one of the most famous and loved cricketers that India has ever produced and his fans love to call him as Dada. The former Indian cricketer is also one of the most successful Indian skippers that we have had, especially in the Test matches as team India has won 21 out of 49 test matches under his leadership. He has also scored more than 11K runs in his ODI career which speaks a lot about his amazing batting style.

It won’t be incorrect to say that it was Sourav Ganguly who made the Indian team a group of fighters who didn’t mind answering back to their opponent in their own language. A Twitter user Bharat Sundaresan made a tweet in this regard with a photo of the menu. He wrote, “I always thought they didn’t like @SGanguly99 much here in Australia. But they instead have paid him the highest Aussie honour possible by naming a beer after him & even marking it as a smooth “hopetator” Must have been all those hugs to Ponting @cricbuzz #Ipl2019 @DelhiCapitals”.
