Unhappy & Disappointed Fans Trolled “Kalank” With The Most Hilarious Memes Ever

The much-hyped movie “Kalank” finally hit the theatres on Wednesday and the period drama which has been directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar is getting mixed reviews by fans and critics alike.

The flick is set in the pre-independence era of 1940s and portrays the complexity of human relationships. The music has been liked by the audiences and due to Madhuri Dixit’s presence in the film, some breathtaking dance sequences are obviously one of the main attractions that lured fans to watch “Kalank”.

What’s more, audiences got to watch Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri together in a movie after many years and at one fell swoop, it again brought together the hit pair of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Other than these stars, the film also features Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Kunal Khemu in important roles.

While the expectations were really high from “Kalank”, it seems as if the viewers are left disappointed because some of them have termed the movie as boring and predictable. Twitterati lost its cool soon and #KalankReview started trending on the micro-blogging site pretty soon.

CSK Lost To SRH In Dhoni’s Absence. Fans Shared Funny Memes To Show How Much They Missed Dhoni

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and MS Dhoni are synonymous to each other and it is pretty hard for the CSK fans to even imagine their favourite team without Mahi. However, their biggest nightmare came true in the IPL match which was played yesterday between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Dhoni was not a part of the squad as he was rested after he suffered a back spasm.

MS Dhoni is an important player for India’s World Cup 2019 campaign so it is quite understandable that no chances can be taken with regard to his fitness.

Suresh Raina led the team in Dhoni’s absence against SRH in the match played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Batting first, CSK got a good start with openers Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis scoring 31 and 45 respectively. However, the team got fumbled as both of them got out and managed only 132 runs in 20 overs.

SRH comfortably achieved the target at their home ground with David Warner scoring 50 runs in just 25 balls; he was also named as Man of the Match.

The fans of CSK were quite disappointed and other than the defeat, they were also upset because since 2010, it is the first time that Dhoni hasn’t led the team. Soon they started expressing their unhappiness in the forms of memes on social media.

BJP Writes To Election Commission To Review The Mamata Banerjee Biopic ‘Baghini’ Ahead Of The Polls

Recently the movie on PM Narendra Modi starring Vivek Oberoi was ordered a stay by the Election Commission of India which was scheduled to be released on 11th April and the movie will be released after the declaration of the election result.

Bharatiya Janta Party wrote a letter to the Election Commission of India on Wednesday for a biopic which has been made on the Chief Minister of West Bengal named as ‘Baghini’ as the Lok Sabha election will be going on.

In the letter, BJP asked Election Commission should review the biopic Baghini, “This is to draw your attention to the news in the media that a biopic allegedly of Mamata Banerjee Baghini will be released on May 3, 2019.”

They even asked it to review the movie the way PM Modi’s biopic was reviewed. The movie was set to be released on 3rd May.

Election Commission of India has ordered for the review of the biopic from The Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal.

As the Model Code of Conduct was activated from March 10th 2019.

“Kalank” First Day Collections Out. Figures Are Awesome & It Is The Biggest Opener Of 2019

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer “Kalank” was undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies of the year and fans had eagerly been waiting for it to hit the theatres in view of the fact that it seemed to have all the ingredients of a super masala blockbuster. Directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, the flick also stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in prominent roles.

Talking about its first day collections, “Kalank” opened with a bang and has earned Rs 21.60 crore on Wednesday which makes it the biggest opener of 2019.

Here’s what trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Kalank starts with a bang… Emerges biggest opener of 2019 *so far*… Plexes terrific… Impressive cast and hype + massive screen count [4000] + #MahavirJayanti holiday have contributed to a big total… Wed ₹ 21.60 cr. India biz.”

“Kalank” is set in the pre-independence era of 1940s and the music was already being liked by the movie buffs. The flick was supposed to made few years ago with Karan Johar as the director and his father Yash Johar being the producer but after the sudden departure of KJo’s father, the project was put on hold.

The movie got mixed reviews but the opening on the box-office is huge and the holiday of Mahavir Jayanti might also have contributed to it. If the trend continues like this, “Kalank” will go on to become one of highest grossers of the year.

Rangoli Chandel Said Mahesh Bhatt Threw Chappal At Kangana Ranaut. This Is How Soni Razdan Reacted

The verbal war between Ranaut sisters and Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan doesn’t seem to end any sooner. In fact, it is getting uglier with each passing day and lately Rangoli alleged that Mahesh Bhatt threw chappal at Kangana and didn’t let her watch her own movie.

In a recent media interaction when Soni Razdan was asked to comment on the spiteful remarks of the Ranaut sisters, she responded in a classy way and said that she doesn’t want to be drawn into this madness.

It all started when Kangana referred to Alia’s performance in “Gully Boy” as a mediocre one and asked media not to pamper the star kids. After that Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel slammed Soni Razdan for the tweet in which Soni asked people to remember Junaid before casting their vote. As per Soni, Junaid lost his life because he was a Muslim but the courts have already cleared that he lost his life due to a spat regarding seat sharing in train.

In fact, there were many including Rangoli who trolled Soni for spreading wrong information; however, she still made an appeal to people for casting their vote and then she was again trolled because she herself can’t cast vote in India as she is a British citizen.

Soni was not able to take it anymore from the Ranaut sisters and asked as to what their problem is and why Kangana is targeting Alia repeatedly despite the fact that she was given a break by Mahesh Bhatt in “Gangster” movie. She also asked the agenda behind all this hatred of Ranaut sisters; however, Soni deleted her tweet later.

Rangoli Chandel did respond and said that it was not Mahesh Bhatt but Anurag Basu who gave Kangana a break as the former doesn’t own the production house and he is just a creative director over there. She also alleged that Mahesh Bhatt wanted Kangana to work in a flick “Dhokha” which was written by him but when she refused, he shouted at her.

As per Rangoli, Mahesh Bhatt threw slippers at Kangana at the screening of “Woh Lamhe” and she was not allowed to see her own movie. She further claimed that Kangana cried the whole night and she was just 19 at that time.

Here’s what she wrote in a series of tweets, “Dear Soni ji, Mahesh Bhatt never gave her a break, Anurag Basu did, Mahesh Bhatt ji works as a creative director in his brothers production house…. Please note that he doesn’t own that production house, after Woh Lamhe when Kangana refused to do a film written by him called ‘Dhokha’ where he wanted her to play a su*cide bomber he got so upset that he not only shouted at her in his office but later when she went for Woh Lamhe preview to a theatre he threw chappal on her, he didn’t allow her to see her own film, she cried whole night …. and she was just 19 years old . @Soni_Razdan”

On the other hand, Alia has kept cool and is not ready to add anything to this controversy. She has praised Kangana for her frankly speaking nature and said that she will try to perform better next time so that Kangana will praise her again.
