The campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 is in full swing in India and no political party is leaving any stone unturned in targeting its opponent party. The social media networks are also a great platform for promotions and campaigning at the present time. Game of Thrones (GoT) is one of the most popular shows and the episodes of its final and eighth season started getting aired a couple of days ago. The Congress party has used the poster of GoT as a base and replaced its character with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team.

The President of BJP Amit Shah is shown in the role of Cersei Lannister while Home minister Rajnath Singh is portrayed as Walder Fray and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is seen wearing the Joffrey Baratheon crown. BJP chief of Karnataka unit Yeddyurappa is shown as Tywin Lannister while Yogi Adityanath, the CM of Uttar Pradesh, is depicted as Jon Snow.

Pakistan government has decided to rebuild 400 temples in Pakistan and will hand it over to the Hindu community-based in Pakistan. The temples were intruded and converted into madrasas, school or toy store.

The enduring demand of the minority Hindu community residing in Pakistan to rebuild their worship places has been finally considered and the federal government has decided to rebuild all the 400 temples. Each year 2 – 3 temples will be restored.

The birthplace of Guru Nanak Nankana Sahib, Pakistan will be opening doors for Indians to visit the birthplace of Guru Nanak.

During the time of partition, the Hindu families migrated from Pakistan to India and abandoned their properties and the temples. These properties were taken over and illegally converted into madrassas.

They’ll be starting with the two most historic holy places in Pakistan, Sialkot and Peshawar. The 1000-year-old Shivalaya Tej Singh temple is set to be restored whereas Sialkot already has a functioning Jagannath temple. Shivalaya Tej Singh temple was functional till 1992 but after the Babri Masjid demolition, it was attacked by a mob and left abandoned.

Pakistan court has also declared the Goraknath temple in Peshawar as a heritage site. As per the survey of Pakistan Government 2019, 11 temples are functional in Sindh, 4 in Punjab, 3 in Balochistan and 2 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a survey conducted by the All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movements (APHRM), 428 temples exists in the soil of Pakistan out of which 401 temples have been converted into a housing society, toy store, madrasas, restaurants etc.

The Pakistan Government is now going to reconstruct the temples and hand it over to the Hindu community of Pakistan. It is said Imran Khan is doing the peace gestures to build a good bond with the neighbouring country India after the Pulwana attack.

It is also said to hide the protesting voice of the Hindu’s residing in Pakistan after the widespread abduction of minor Hindu girls and converting them into Islam which received International attention.

Google and Apple have been directed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) to take down TIK TOK the Chinese short video application from App Store and Google Play.

Madras High Court on April 3rd passed an interim order to ban the application in the country, without even giving TikTok a chance to defend itself.

TikTok has humongous popularity all over the globe, the video-sharing application which has 0.5 billion users and over 119 million users are from India most of which are teenagers. The application which allows its users to create funny videos and contents was discriminated for allowing sleazy and pornographic content on the application.

Supreme Court on Monday refused to put a stay on the earlier order passed by the Madras High Court to ban the app. A board head by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi posted to hear the matter on 22nd March.

As the high court, ordered to ban the application Meity is ensuring that and has asked Google and Apple to delete it from their respective App stores. It will help to stop further downloads of the application, but the people who already have the application in their smartphones will be able to use it.

The Senior Advocate of Byte Dance, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, urged for a stay against the ban as it’s causing massive damage to the Company. The owner of TikTok, ByteDance has earlier appealed against the High Court directive to the apex court.

Byte Dance presented a petition to the Supreme Court stating it can’t be held liable for the third part actions on the application. It is just like other social media platforms.

TikTok has already removed 6 million videos from India for violating the community guidelines.

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! is one of the most popular shows of Indian television at present and the characters of the serial have become household names as they bring smiles on the faces of audiences.

It has been seen that the makers often try to give social message as well along with laughter but this time, they have been caught by the Election Commission (EC) for taking side of a particular political party and its leader.

As we all know, the Lok Sabha elections 2019 are taking place in India and EC has directed that no one will be promoting any political party through advertisements, TV serials or films.

But it seems as if the makers of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! have breached this rule when they showed their support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Election Commission has sent a legal notice to the makers and asked them to provide an explanation on it.

Raghuvir Shekhawat, the screenwriter of the show, has accepted that the legal notice has been received and the makers will respond with an answer very soon.

Raghuvir was attending an event of screenwriters association held in Mumbai where he was pretty clear on his side of the story as he said that they have only promoted Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and the person who started it. He added that they neither named nor targetted any political party.
