Back in 2005 during the promotion of The Bride and Prejudice. Aishwarya was invited on David Letterman’s late night show and she smacked David Letterman with her wit.
Celebrity host David Letterman who is a master of wit and sarcasm has always roasted his guests and gave them some tricky situation to handle. He has roasted the former US President Barack Obama, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and several other high profile guests.
During the interview, Aishwarya was questioned on the few stereotypes which people from around the world relates to India. David questioned her ” Does she still leave with her parents and is that common in India for older children to leave with their parents? ”
She delivered the perfect response and gave David the taste of his own medicine ” It’s fine to live with your parents because It’s also common in India, we don’t have to take appointments from the parents to meet for dinner”.
Aishwarya was in her stan mode throughout the interview and left David in awe as he was burnt in his own show. After watching the video you’ll believe Aish is sassy.

The poster and title of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film have been unveiled today. Previously pictures from the set were leaked online where the superstar was spotted in a Khaki attire and it was believed that the 68 years old superstar will be portraying the character of a police officer after 25 years.
After much anticipation, today Lyca Production has revealed the poster online titled as Darbar – You Decide Whether You Want Me To Be Good, Bad, Worse. It was previously titled as Thalaivar 167, written and directed by AR Murugadoss.
Superstar Rajinikanth is playing the character of an IPS officer in the film and looks astonishing as well. The first look poster reveals not much but a bit about the movie being set in Mumbai. Darbar will be released during Pongal.
Lyca Production and Superstar Rajinikanth will be collaborating for the third time after Kaala and 2.0. Rajinikanth was last seen in the role of a police officer in movies like Pandian, Kodi Parakuthu and Moondru Mugam and almost after two decades, he will be seen as a police officer on the screen.
The film also features actress Nayanthara in an important role, she has previously worked with the superstar in films like Shivaji, Chandramukhi and Kuselan.

Kings XI Punjab defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad with 151 in 19.5 overs by 6 wickets. Both the teams lost the previous match and this match was to regain from the last loss. Sunsrisers Hyderabad lost 2 consecutive matches. KXIP with yesterday’s win moved to third position in the points table, while SRH engulfed to the fourth position.
SRH struggled with their batting order just like the previous match against Mumbai Indians. David Warner’s 70 not out, Vijay Shankar’s 26 off 27 balls and Deepak Hooda’s 14 off 3 balls helped SRH to secure 150 runs in 20 overs.

The biggest event of the cricketing world. ICC World Cup 12th edition is scheduled to start from 30th May 2019 in England and Wales. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will select the Indian team for the world cup on 15th April.
BCCI officials gave a confirmation to Sportsstar that the senior selection committee and India Captain, Virat Kohli will be meeting on Monday 15th April for the team selection. The final squad will be announced on or before 20th April. According to the tournament guidelines, the last day for the submission of the final squad for every team is 23rd April.
Every team can make changes to the final squad of 15 members, prior to seven days before the tournament.
The chairman of BCCI selection committee MSK Prasad said “I am confident that we are going to announce a good team. We have worked on this for almost one and a half years. We have observed all the players, tested good combinations.”
India will play their first match against South Africa on 5th June.

After “Kalank”, she will be seen in “Brahmastra” in which she will share screen with her rumoured boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Other than this, she has some big projects lined up too including SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” in which she is starring with Ajay Devgn, Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
