There is no doubt that the Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the biggest cricket tournaments of the world and it is followed by not just the Indian fans but cricket lovers all across the globe. The success of IPL can be understood by the fact that ICC allots a separate window for organising it during the year and this year, we are enjoying the 12th season of the tournament.

If you focus, you can see that the electronic scoreboard is showing the live score of the match which was played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).

Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani who is pitted against Congress President Rahul Gandhi in Amethi Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh. On Thursday she lashed out at Rahul Gandhi by calling him a “missing MP”, for not being present when the people of Amethi needed his help.
Mrs Irani was addressing a string of election meetings during her two-day visit to Amethi. Union Minister said, “those who have misled and deceived people of Amethi for past 15 years, now realised they are going to lose when Amethi goes to poll on May 6th”.
Rahul Gandhi who has now filed his nomination papers in Wayanad Kerala. Irani said the person who has been here for the past 15 years, has decided to leave his supporters and chose to file nomination from another constituency. “He is filing his paper from another Lok Sabha seat. This is an insult to Amethi and a betrayal to its people” she told reporters hours before Rahul filed his nomination.
Irani said in an interview with India Today “He’s going to Wayanad in Kerala was imminent. Since Congress workers here had already given him an internal survey saying that he will lose, so he had to escape from here”.
“The missing MP has deliberately not developed his constituency in the last 15 years. After the people here have lost confidence in him, he is trying to run away to Wayanad in Kerala. Under the Congress rule, farmers have only suffered and Rahul Gandhi has never come to villages to hear grievances of the people. Since the BJP has become strong here, he started visiting his constituency only for a photo-op.” “I was a leader and had kept constant touch with people here in last 5 years and tried to meet the people and solve their problems” Irani also called on the people of Amethi to vote for their freedom and Amethi’s.
She also claimed, “After fooling the people of Amethi, he will now do the same in Kerala”.
Irani also accused Rahul of joining hands with an organisation in Kerala which is responsible for anti-national movement and also accused the Congress party of launching a manifesto that has brought a lot of disappointment to the people.
She also tweeted –
UP Congress spokesperson Zeeshan Haider respond to Smriti Irani, “Our party chief has always spoken about unity and development of people belonging to every section of society. The BJP must clarify RSS links with Muslim League at the time of partition. Smriti Irani is losing badly in Amethi this time and such statements only reflect her nervousness.”

Anant Narayan, a Facebook user disclosed the name of the girl that her name is CA Krishna and studies in 10th standard in Holy Grace School in Thrissur. In an interview with Manorama News, she said it was her last examination and she wanted to go to school riding her horse.

But this year Royal Challengers Bangalore is struggling to win the matches. Bangalore lost their 6th consecutive match yesterday against Delhi Capitals by 4 wickets.
Regardless of having some of the big names in the cricketing world such as AB DE Villers, Virat Kohli, Moeen Ali. RCB is failing to leave their mark in the ongoing Ipl and this is by far the worst performance by Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL edition. RCB on Sunday walked out in all green but the changes in the uniform didn’t really make any difference.
As put on to bat the first RCB managed to score 149 for 8 off their 20 overs, Delhi Capitals scored 152 for 6 in 18.5 overs and won by 4 wickets. Virat Kohli was the top scorer in RCB with 33 balls of 41 runs. Shreyas Iyer was the star yesterday scored 67 of 50 balls and took the catch of captain Kohli.
It was a helpless sight, Virat said “We just weren’t good on the given day. That’s the whole story of RCB this season”
He also said to the broadcasters, “We thought 160 would be competitive but we kept losing wickets at regular intervals, so I wanted to take the game deep. Even 150, had we held on to our chances, would’ve been difficult for them. We need to grab those chances, can’t give excuses every game”.
Moeen Ali told in the press conference, “Obviously it is very frustrating as players. We are training hard. We are doing the right things in the training, but not delivering on the field. We are making the same mistakes – dropping catches and giving away wickets.”
